Although I only visited this place once as I was passing by, this place seemed to be very popular with the locals in the area. This place was PACKED when I stopped by for my morning caffeine. It was around a Thursday morning, and boy was both the order and pick up lines CRAZY. I felt like I was out and about during Black Friday doing shopping and that everyone was deciding to stop by Starbucks for a coffee break. And yes, the atmosphere was THAT busy. When I came in, there was only 2 to 3 individuals in front of me. That slow changed to about 5 to 7 individuals waiting to order when I stood around waiting for my coffee. The service level was average. The speed, well, I can't really say much since my quickie coffee grab turned into a 5 to 10 minutes thing. I don't blame them since they were swamped. I really hate to leave a bad review but this Starbucks location is always struggling. Every mobile order is always 10-15 minutes passed pickup time and the drinks are always 4/10. This is closest to my house and always call to pick up a traveler. Most locations have a 1 hour call ahead - theirs is always 2 hours. Made a recent traveler order at 4:30pm to pick up at 6pm. Overall, tables are nice and spread out which allows ideally for meetings with larger groups. Parking usually isn't an issue here, however there is only one handicap space in the area. Doesn't honor the rewards program. This Starbucks is, perhaps, one of my favorites when it comes to it's space and setup. It's large and roomy, has several long tables, and the music is never too loud. But... and this is a big one... they do not honor the rewards program. I ordered a large Refresh tea and was hoping to get a refill once I finished. But when I asked, I was assured that anything other than more hot water would have to be paid for, regardless of whether or not I had used a registered Starbucks card to buy the first drink. I showed the clerk the webpage (www.starbucks.com/card/rewards/) with the conspicuously friendly invitation, "When you're at Starbucks you feel at home. Paying with your registered Starbucks Card gets you brewed or iced coffee or tea refills at no charge during the same visit to a participating store." Well no, though they accepted my card, the clerk re-interpreted the sentence for me... only "iced" tea gets a refill...mo' tea bags, mo' money (w apologies to bizarro biggie). Well, otherwise it's a good place... I guess they're just not participating... or maybe times are tough and the place is few a tea bags away from falling out of profitability... who knows, I just wished I would have known before committing to work here for the morning. read more

I come here every so often after riding. It's a bigger Starbucks it's pretty busy all the time but the wait is never long. The baristas however aren't the nicest people here. They just seem uninterested in their job and want to get you out their face. I usually don't care how "chipper" someone is when they serve me, which is why I never had a big problem with the baristas here. But today a barista was just flat out rude. I wasn't aware of how late it was and asked for a blonde roast. The barista said "NO CANT DO THAT ITS AFTER NOON, DONT YOU KNOW WE DONT SERVE THAT AFTER NOON? WE ONLY HAVR PIKES ROAST WANT THAT?" This is one of the most spacious, most student/work oriented Starbucks I've been to. The area is square and has a variety of seating. I only give it 4 of 5 stars, because there are 2 reasons I'd say are worth .5 of a star.... 1. There doesn't seem to be a lot of outlets' and some are in weird places like by the trash can and under one of the huge bench tables where A LOT of people like to sit. 2. Once in a while one of the guys seems to really not be a morning person... Just not too personable as often as most employees should be, especially at a SB. I understand what it's like to have an off day and you can't help but be a little moody at work, but this one is a little more consistent about it. All that said, this is a great Starbucks!
