This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been too. Yesterday I came and got a chai tea latte and it tasted like water with some spices. But today I decided to give it another try and got a peppermint mocha and there was no peppermint flavor or mocha flavor was so much that you couldn't taste the peppermint. Today the guy on the intercom had such high pitch voice that I could barely understand him. The only good thing today is girl in drive-through was very personable. This review is the funniest/saddest review I've ever written. My boss and I went on a Star B's run for the office. Well my boss decided she wanted some food so she asked Nate Dog (Starbucks employee) if they had the chicken or turkey wrap available (as Starbucks can run out of certain items during the day, nbd) well he replied with 'We've never had anything like' so my boss said 'No, I meant do you have the chicken OR turkey wrap available?' He then replied 'No, we've never had a chicken or turkey wrap' and my boss said 'It's on the menu.' And he said 'IT IS?!' And my boss said 'Yes. I've gotten that here before.' So we pull up to the window and for the first time in the history of Starbucks WE WERE NOT GREETED BY THE EMPLOYEE AT THE WINDOW (Nate Dawg). We assume he was upset because before we drove to the window I said 'WAIT, let me take a picture' (see attached). I think it's safe to say that Nathan was being a little passive aggressive because the two of us ordered 4 drinks and an egg wrap (since that's all they had) and he asked us if we wanted a tray, we said yes. He handed us our drinks and said 'Here you go.' My boss then said 'I need a receipt and my wrap'. He got us the receipt and the wrap and we went on our way to write this review. So Happy this location is open now!! So nice to be able to drive thru, and interior is light and airy.I went here yesterday with my little baby for a frappucino.And there is so much space!! Furniture is nice and the patio sofa is nice to hang out.I wasn't able to take pictures holding my baby,but I will update this when I'm able to.I was greeted when I went inside and place my order and Hung out for a while and fed my baby. I will not be returning back to this Starbucks despite it being the closest one to the hospital. They clearly cannot handle the increase in clients due to the shutdown of the Starbucks near the outlet mall. I waited for over 10 minutes for a very berry hibiscus. I had to leave without my drink since it took them so long. What's sad is that it looked like only one barista was making drinks while two other girls were standing around. Very disappointed. Very friendly happy staff every time I visit this location. In fact I didn't notice or appreciate it until visiting a Starbucks down the road in Georgetown. What ever the manager and staff are doing keep it up. To be completely transparent, I normally avoid the large corporate coffee shop "Starbucks" and like the locally owned and ran Cafe Coffee Shops. No friendly customer service! Went a few days ago and paid my coffee, I leave to go to the bank when I realize I'm missing my debit card. I search my whole car and I call them to ask if they had my card which they did. I had no problem with it, everyone makes mistakes, but once I got there I go in and the lady was mad and she asked for my ID to see if it was really my card ? I got a caramel macchiato and it tasted like milk with no coffee at all. I told her and she took it in then gave it back to me and I said it still tasted like milk and refused to take it back in even though she did the first time. She wanted to charge me another 9 cents. If your in a hurry & think drive thru is faster think again. We just spent about 15 mins in front of window. They had 2 remake our coffees 3x. I felt sorry 4 people behind us because they didn't know what was going on. All they could see is barista giving us coffees & us returning them 2. Starbucks has lost its way it seems. Once upon a time, on the rare occasion that an order wasn't made right, barista's would do backflips to make it right. As of late it seems the order is being put together wrong more frequently, which I can accept as I see the mad pace that these folks work at, and after all they are only human. Today, I put in an order for two identical drinks. One is different than the other, and BOTH are missing the flavoring. Should be an easy fix, right? Unfortunately, I drove away before noticing... Dropped the Mrs. off to work, and popped my head into another starbucks hoping to get it fixed. They say, "sorry, but we'd have to charge you for the flavoring". Out of principle, I decide to drive 7 miles back to where I ordered it and ask for it to be fixed. They say, sorry but we don't have that flavor. Not sure why they took the order to begin with. They don't offer to fix it, or suggest an alternative, but more or less say "tough luck for you." I'm ready for a new coffee place. I'm over the starbucks brand. read more

This place sucked, I went this morning and asked for 2 cinnamon dulce lattes extra hot as it was freezing, the girl hands me the drinks without the holder and I burned my fingers, I asked her why she didn't put the brown cover over and she stated that the customer needs to ask I'm like really so instead you risked the chance of me burning myself because I didn't ask. This Starbucks is great about getting Mobile orders done quickly and correctly. Most of the time the drive thru line is very long and not fast. Half the staff inside is very nice. I went inside today because the drive thru was exceptionally long. As I was ordering the employee taking my order acted like they could have been doing something better to do. Since the employee was not paying full attention they got my order completely wrong. I go to the starbucks at least 4 times a week and I'm a gold star member. I feel like the employees should work on their customers service a bit more. I still love this starbucks very much and I will continue to go there but I feel some situations could be handled differently. read more

TL; DR: I have sticky coconut macchiato all over my clothes and car seat right now, so I'm annoyed at this Starbucks. Full story: I went through the drive-through today and ordered a new drink that sounded good: tall iced coconut milk mocha macchiato. Pay, get my drink, tip. Barista hands me a large stack of napkins I didn't ask for (foreboding music in the background). I start to drive away and take a sip of my cool, delicious beverage. Apparently my shirt was thirsty too, because I suddenly have macchiato all over my work clothes. I pull over and check that the lid is on and not broken. It looks intact, but it's not holding in the drink. I go back through the drive-through and explain I need a new cup. The barista says that always happens with the coconut milk drinks (that's why I received the napkins). Okay.... She puts the drink in a new plastic cup and of course I test it...drink streams out between the lid and cup. Dude, seriously? So I ask for the drink in a paper cup that will actually contain it. Finally drive away, but the drink has lost its appeal after I have furiously blotted it off of my car interior and clothing. I don't think it's too much to ask to have a to-go drink in a cup that won't spill all over you! read more

Normally, Starbucks stores stop serving bold coffee (such as a French Roast) after 12:00 noon. I went to this Starbucks on one Sunday at 11:45 to get a bold coffee, and they said they stopped serving bold at 11:00 am. I was angry, but okay -- I went to the oStarbucks at the other University location. The next Sunday, I went to the Starbucks at 10:30 AM. This time, they told me they stopped serving the bold at 10:00 AM!! I heard that people who likes the bold-flavored coffees are out-spoken/passionate about their coffee. I fit that description. Still, I was really angry for them telling me two different things. When I asked the employee why they stopped serving coffee at 10 am, she said it was a decision made by headquarters. Well, that's not true. I have been to probably hundreds of Starbucks, and this has been the ONLY one where they stop serving bold coffee before noon. This was clearly a manager's decision. This location is the closest to me so I go here often. The staff is friendly. I hate to do this but every time I order an iced drink it's always leaking. Always. Now my thighs are going to be sticky because of this. I've never had this problem at other locations (and even locations outside Of the US). I don't know what the deal is.
