I was brought here during a family medical emergency. As an adult disabled with autism I was unable to remain in the house during emergency. I got a coffee and a water. But then I informed the barista of the medical crisis and they instantly started giving me hot water and supportive care. I'm not entirely sure if this is a coffee shop or a crisis support center. It seems to be both. Starbucks's barista team really knows how to help. A bit of hot water and a safe location is often a very helpful resource during an emergency. They keep the restaurant calm and ensure clients are happy. They also look out for each other. Not just staff but as people. Their coffee was impressive but the service of these baristas is incredible. The coffee shop is large spacious and relaxing to lounge in. No worse than hospital surgical waiting. Actually, better! Because they have the food and drinks all ready to go and unlike the hospital. If you need hot water, just ask and you will receive based on your priority. Always be transparent. Every time I come here they get my order or drink wrong. They put caramel instead of horchata which I repeated twice. The drinks are often made inconsistent and the baristas seem like they can't care less. They seriously need to pay attention and focus on the quality and accuracy of drinks. I came in today cause I was craving a matcha, so figured why not just walk in since the drive thru line was in the parking lot, and your girl didn't wanna sit in that. The cashier was friendly and I gave her my drink order, however she must have heard me wrong cause on my receipt it said ice latte and I don't drink coffee. I walked up to another employee who was gonna make the drink and told her she put in my drink order wrong and she had no problem fixing it for me the way I wanted. I'm so glad I caught that before they actually made it, but I've never had that issue happen to me before. I decided to try an iced matcha a new way and it didn't disappoint. Too appalled by how I was treated and what happened last time to go back. At the drive-thru, the female employee acted like she was hard of hearing and was rude about it. The screen that shows what you ordered wasn't functioning. She even tried to offer me the wrong drink at the window (she admitted it was made by mistake) and not what I ordered. This place popped up out of nowhere and it is awesome! There is a drive thru, everything is brand new including the drought tolerant plants. Me and my husband had a wonderful experience in this Starbucks ( 01/29/22). Special mention to the store manager Natalie who is kind enough to correct our orders.. We ordered Chicken Caprese and Turkey Provolone & Pesto sandwiches, we didn't know that our sandwiches got warmed up and we just started eating our sandwiches cold.. when our warmed sandwiches were ready, we told the staff that we are already eating our sandwiches. Natalie came and offered us the hot sandwiches and suggested to keep the cold ones as complimentary.. She said she wants us to enjoy our sandwiches which is better eaten when hot. The newest and best Starbucks in the SCV by far. Even though the line may seem a bit long in the drive through, it is usually super quick. They have a barista named Drew who is absolutely hilarious. He works the drive through at times and always brightens up me and my wife's day. The other baristas are fantastic as well! It's also very open and very bright which is nice as well.
