Probably one of the worse Starbucks I've gone to in Santa Maria lol. I only go to this one bc it's the closest on my way to my work but last week I got a double chocolate chip Frappuccino and asked for LIGHT whipped cream but got EXTRA EXTRA instead. And just now I asked for a pumpkin spice Frappuccino with light whipped cream again, but look at what I got lol, the base isn't even filled all the way to the top, they basically put a tall amount in a grande cup ‍ on top of that they forgot our straws. You guys ask too many questions to customers in the drive thru. Also you guys hold customers at the ordering intercom and the line is always 10 cars... then after a customer orders you ask "what else can I get for you"? After the customer says that's it. Then you ask "can I get you anything else?" After the customer says that's it, no more items. Then you tell them to hold on (for a minute). Then you ask "does everything look correct on the screen?" By then the customer is already frustrated. After all it is supposed to be a fast drive thru. YOU GUYS NEED TO SPEED IT UP. read more

I went to the location through drive thru earlier today and it was far less than i expected . I ordered a Venti ICED green tea latte, a Venti Passion Tango Iced Tea, and a sausage and cheddar breakfast sandwhich. Only One of those items was delivered correctly, the breakfast sandwich. when i got to the window, Alfredo took my payment and then gave me my breakfast sandwich. I then got handed the passion tango which they didn't sweeten or give me a straw, and then he proceeded to give me my "iced green tea latte" which he took as a regular green tea, i then told him i Ordered an Iced Green tea latte and he confirmed and went to make it, when he returned he handed me an WARM green tea latte, at this point i was running late and not i the mood to wait an extra 5 minutes more so i took it without having it fixed again . This is my favorite Starbucks in Santa Maria. When I visit my son we always go here the staff is so friendly unlike some other Starbucks in town and the service is fast. One of my favorite baristas is Adrianna, she always seems to be in the best mood and get my complicated order right every time. It's worth the drive across town to get to this Starbucks. read more

Always always ALWAYS have a long line in the drive thru! I get that I can walk inside but i also don't want to & neither do a lot of other people but if this location knows that they get a lot of traffic through the drive thru why not get a faster person to be making the drive thru orders or something. I don't get it. It's not a new problem or one that will go away unless the customers go away. I buy Coffee about 5 times a week (yes I'm a coffeeholic ) & whenever I see more than 5 cars I just drive away. They lose my service about half the time. Yesterday I had my girlfriend go grab me a medicine ball to help my sore throat. She ordered other things as well. The drinks she ordered didn't stay anything close to what she ordered. When she called to let them know they gave her attitude & said if that's what you ordered that's what we made. Obviously, it wasn't since she had to call. I use to be a barista myself so I know how it works. She went today to grab me a medicine ball & a green ice tea that I asked for no ice. Again they messed up. Typically we used to like coming to this location as the service was good. We would 90% of the time order a caramel Frappuccino with whip and soy milk and it was delicious caramel and coffee were at great balance. As of lately they have been making it taste of straight up milk! I told the barista to remake it to which he just responded with an explanation as to why he wasn't going to remake it. It goes as follows: " well when you order soy milk sometimes it'll look different but it might taste the same". First off I work customer service we are trained to not argue with customers as "customers are always right" I was not rude or anything so it would have been a simple request. We went through the drive thru and there was no one behind us and she was rushing us. When we received our coffee our order was incorrect and our drinks were very diluted. I usually stop off here at least twice a week. Always greeted with a smile. My drink is always hot and tasty. I only come in the morning, it can get busy and sometimes you have to wait, but it's worth it. There's one barista (Kali) that stands out. She is like the energized bunny and boy can she multitask. They need more people like her. She older then most of the workers and she runs circles around them. read more

Terrible service, 8 out 10 times that I order here they get my order wrong. I spoke to the shift supervisor over the phone and she was rude and keep repeating over and over that I needed my receipt showing my credit card information for a refund. When I told her "Yes, I can show you my receipt because I'm telling you that I order through the app" she said you're rude and I'm hanging up now and she did. This used to be one of my favorite locations when I lived in Santa Maria. I think it was actually the 1st one built for us. Most times the staff is OK and attitude they seemed very distracted and occasionaly a couple of them would not be very friendly. It's unfortunate the bathrooms now need a code to be used. Its a little inconvenient when there's a long line to check out at the register to have to ask for a bathroom code. Worst customer service experience ever. I ordered 2 drinks (one being a drip coffee), waited about 15 minutes, and I had to ask if my drinks were ready. The employee that I asked was very rude and aswered me like I was bothering her. If you work at a coffee shop you will get people asking you questions. It's CUSTOMER SERVICE! This Starbucks just needs to close up or everyone in there should be fired. This is THE worst Starbucks I've ever been to. My ice coffee with no syrup took 15 mins to get. The mocha frap I also ordered still wasn't made so I had to remind them and I got the "we working on it right now" in a rude reply. In fact they were not working on it right now, I still had to wait another 5 mins for it. When I finally got it, the outside was dripping with overflow of cream, which I had to ask them to wipe off. I rarely go to Starbucks because it's usually way too crowded and I would rather just have my own coffee at home. However, we went to the Santa Maria Christmas parade last Saturday (12/1/18) and decided to go in there since it was close by and grab something warm to drink. We ordered three drinks (2 Caramel Frappuccinos & Vanilla latte to be exact). Yes it was packed but we waited 25 minutes to get our drinks and that was after having to ask them twice. The first time I was told by a very nice gentleman employee, "I will check on it"... to which I don't think he did because 10 minutes later I asked the same nice gentleman employee if he had time to check on it & this time I was told "we are very busy & we are doing the best we can"... still not checking on my order. Several customers who ordered after us were getting their orders after us so I was lead to believe that they weren't really doing the best they can because we were still waiting. While other customers are getting upset & impatient because they aren't getting their orders either and now wanting to cancel and get their money back. I wasn't sure who the manager was but I gave my receipt to a female employee and asked her if she could please get my order as I had not received it yet. Her response "someone else must have taken it"... I had been standing right by the pick-up counter the entire time and never once heard my name. Another female employee must have sensed my frustration because she then asked me what it was that I ordered. After I told her she immediately prepared them for me. The drinks were good and no complaints there but the customer service was far from good and I was pretty disappointed. Starbucks has been around way too long to have employees treat their customers that way. Won't be back. read more
