I've been to many different Starbucks locations within Santa Rosa over the last year since I became a freelancer, and this location is consistently the best in terms of keeping the cream, sugar, flavors, and drip coffee varieties fully stocked and ready to go. I don't order fancy drinks so the cashier gets my drip coffee and pastry ready quickly. I scan my gold card on my Starbucks app and I'm good to go. The drive thru is always crammed so I usually go inside, even if I'm getting my coffee to go. The staff is great, the bathrooms are clean, and the WiFi is usually reliable, but sometimes I have trouble finding a seat with a power outlet. Also, the couch area is usually taken over by large groups. I think it would be nice if they split it into two smaller couch areas for more intimate gatherings of friends. I've seen many business meetings and casual get-togethers held here and the space is larger than average so I never feel like I am spying on other patrons or that they're spying on me. While visiting family from Southern California, I came to this location in late January 2018. The location is ok, the line for drive thru ended up blocking my car (which was parked relatively far from the entrance) so I am not crazy about the layout. The staff is pretty friendly, even on a busy Saturday morning, and were as quick as could be with a 10 items order (took about 15 minutes to complete the order). There is plenty of indoor seating available. If ever in town, I would visit this branch again but probably park away from the drive thru path next time! read more

Order online. Went to pick up sorts and windows really dirty no one greeting you. Your just swinging open door and right when you open there is a table blocking you from standing inside so you have to have to hold the door open until someone see you waiting and that being said how sanitary is that so they clean the handles. Well obviously not they don't even clean the doorways. After standing there for 10 minutes watching all the people who came up for online orders have to get service for them selfs and having to all touch the door and have the door lean on all of us I was over my drink and food it was all contaminated and the service was horrible left there no napkins no cream cheese and when I went back the lady said aww you probably didn't add it to the order make sure you do that. I live next to this starbucks so it only makes sense to go get my coffee here. But, for the past few months, there's a blonde girl working the drive thru that ALWAYS has an attitude with me. Ive also heard from other people that she is rude to them as well. She must hate life, because I've never met anyone with such a big attitude towards someone ordering coffee. (Every time!) Everyone else who works there is always so over the top nice! I can always tell right away if it's her taking my order or someone else. She needs to go. The Farmer's Lane Starbucks is a challenge. I've had to use multiple maneuvers to enter the lot, so one needs coffee beforehand. It's an okay place. The service is good. The last time I went, there wasn't much seating. I wonder if it's better now that it has been remodeled. If I'm headed to Sebastopol/Guerneville/Fort Ross, this is where I'll stop to get caffeinated fuel. read more

I had the worst experience here over the weekend. We ordered a tall coffee and a tall NF Gingerbread latte. The place was empty, as it was 4:30p.m. on a Sunday, and we waited for 15 minutes for the latte! Headed out to the car and made it out the driveway only to find that the latte was lukewarm at best! I swear every time I go here I have high hopes for my coffee . sometimes I get a salted Caramell mocha often I get an Americano with three pumps of classic syrup and steamed heavy cream . no matter what I get these folks cannot get it right . I just went to get a salted Caramell mocha, I got a mocha with a little bit of whip cream and a crap load of salt on top No Caramel. When you mess up my coffee in the drive-through I'm not gonna go back through the drive-through because I don't have the time. my time is precious. I swear every single time my coffee is wrong. Of all the Starbucks in all the County this has got to be my all time #1 favorite. The morning crew knows me by name, they get my drink right every time even when I change it up. They are polite and friendly. The bar is always clean, the food is always fresh and when I'm in a 20-30 pinch and need a coffee/hot chocolate donation they are more then willing to step up and make it happen even if it means borrowing containers from other locations to make it work. read more

Placed an online mobile order at 8:31. The confirmation said the order would be ready at 8:51. I show up there at 8:51 exactly. There is one customer in front of me, who upon receiving his drink order tells the barista that he must have accidentally ordered his flat white as "iced" because he wanted a hot one. The barista simply looks at his ticket without making eye contact and says "No, you did order a hot one that was my bad." She walks away to remake the drink. Now it's my turn. My order is all set to go except it's missing a croissant. I let the barista know that. She apologizes and says it will be right out. Five minutes go by and I watch the barista ask another worker, is that croissant ready? Other worker replies "no." Barista comes back to me and says it will be one more minute. Five more minutes go by and I watch the same scene unfold- barista asks other worker for the croissant, she says it's not ready yet. She tells me "one more minute." Five more minutes go by and The barista approaches the other worker again- "where is that croissant?" The other worker says, I gave it to you. [Note: at that point I have been standing there waiting for an extra 15 mins now, literally watching everyone at work and I did not see the other worker give anything to the barista]. I'm irritated from waiting so long and shout over the counter, "I'll take the croissant cold!" Because I'm tired of waiting. They finally grab one out of the case and hand it to me. How hard was that. I leave Starbucks at 9:10. From the time I placed my order to the time I walk out with my order it was 40 minutes! More so, placing an online order is to save time, yet I was in their Starbucks for 20 minutes. Not great service, and not a smooth operation either. read more

This place was busy busy when I got there today. They got me in and out in no time though. Which I really appreciated because I was short on time. I even knocked over the cup sleeves and made a big mess. The nice employee insisted on cleaning it up for me and assured me that it happens all the time. Good to know. This place can be hit or miss sometimes. I'm usually here at least once a week if not 2-3 times. My kids always get the same thing, one hot chocolate and a birthday cake pop. Depending on what time we get here the drive thru is usually empty, but there a minute or two later and it's packed. Some days the line moves really fast other's it takes forever. You can't really screw up hot chocolate but occasionally mommy treats herself and some days my coffee is perfect, other's not so much. I am so sick of the baristas who are cheap ass. I order a venti beverage with light foam and they often present me with a cup 3/4 full? How tacky is that!!! Fill the damn cup up and not with foam!!! If I want a grande I will order a grande. Don't give me a grande in a venti cup. Especially when I get it in a for-here mug! I can feel the lack of weight when you put a lid on it....you think I can't see how much room you left in my cup when there is no lid!!! I like that Starbucks coffee is mostly cream and sugar and taste-wise it's pretty consistent, but I will stop feeding the corporate monster if it keeps being such a cheap ass monster. Always fast and yummy. The baristas are sweet and remember my order. Love that there is a drive thru, very quick even if the line is long.

This Starbucks is always so busy! For the most part I always get my coffee very quickly and it always tastes great! But the only bad comment I have is that some of the employees that work there should not be around people because they are not friendly at all and never smile or look happy, and i go there alot!!! I personally think that to work at a coffee shop you have to be in a peppy mood and awake to serve the public their coffee. On the other hand there one in particular employee there that always is happy and has my coffee ready fast, and she always is super friendly!! Not happy with the service. The kid handing out the drinks does not read the name written on the cup, so there are many mistakes which he denies. Why ask my name and write on the cup if you don't use that to identify the correct customer? Mumbling the name of the product and setting it on the counter and walking off is rather dumb. read more

I visit this Starbucks the most and have received great service every time. I go early in the morning when sometimes people are not in the happiest of moods, but whenever Theresa is there she is always smiling and seems happy and eager to give great service. Plenty of places to sit. Staff is hit or miss, at times very friendly, other times just short of rude. Very large employee turnover, even for a Starbucks. Usually a comfortable environment in which to visit with friends, or perfect your latest spreadsheet. Wide range of people appear to spend hours each day here; groups of high school students, a knitting circle, a tutor who essentially makes this Starbucks his office, divorced men recalling better days. There will be homeless visitors at times, the staff may acknowledge them by name, it is clear they are welcome. I respect that. read more

I will NEVER go back to this Starbucks again. Which is unfortunate since the location is convenient. There are 2 blonde girls that work there that are extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I would have gotten their names and spoke to a manager. Went to this Starbucks on a Monday at 9:30am. There was just one person ahead of me... Great! Turns out, the person ahead of me was a friend of the gal taking orders. After chatting, she started preparing the order for her friend. I waited patiently for my order to be taken until she finally looked up to say, "be there in a minute."
