The perfect "We should go for coffee" location. Peet's coffee always offers up delicious coffee blends and fabulous service. This location is convenient and provides quick service. Thank you -again - Peet's coffee for another wonderful coffee visit. Perk: quick service!!

Love this Peet's! Now that the downtown location is closed, this is my go-to Peet's in Santa Rosa. Although it can get busy, the staff are always friendly and efficient. My beverage always tastes great and the store is always clean. They are doing a great job at spacing out customers and enforcing masks. My only complaint is that this parking lot is tight. Overall, delightful coffee with way more flavor than Starbucks!

Time to freshen up my Peet's review. Management has changed - and Peet's still serves good coffee and people hang out there: Old codgers hanging in the dark corners slowly drinking their coffee with their backs to the wall watching the room with steely eyes. A table of asians cluster "for two" tables to drink their coffee from stainless steel tumblers while an old lady with a perpetual smile on her face gnaws on an ear of sweet corn that I don't think she got from the Peet's display case. A little girl outside scoots on her butt across the garden wall to get closer to a crown finch while her father pauses to photograph the event. A poignant moment for me as as I remember my own daughter - a moment to be forgotten for an eternity by the father and daughter outside the window as a trivial moment. A big biker with lots to tats wearing shorts and a tee shirt orders coffee... the back of his tee shirt says, "Ride it like you stole it". I like it, but if I drove my tractors like I stole them, I'd probably be dead years ago. On the wall is a tasteful advertisement of cappuccino art - normally a flower or a heart being made, but this one is a phallic symbol. For the barista's lover, the boss is away and he's having a little fun or that customer who keeps coming in and ordering a cappuccino under the name of "Donald Trump". So many possibilities. Business as usual at Peet's on a Saturday morning. Come and be part of the action.

It was my first time in this area of Santa Rosa. There's a small parking lot in the back. We walked in and the space was decorated so nicely though there's not a lot of seating indoors. I can imagine how busy this place can get on a sunny day since there's lots of tables and chairs outside. We weren't greeted by the person working, just met with silence. We stood looking at the menu on the wall while the barista stood waiting for us to order. I didn't see the "special" matchas I found through the photos on Yelp then finally noticed that there was a special menu flat on the counter. I think it would be helpful if the special drinks were easier for customers to see. We both ordered then waited for our drinks. While we waited I thought I would go to the restroom, but unfortunately when I checked it was out of order. Don't get confused and go into the "employees only" door! Once we received our drinks, I was glad to see the color of both our matchas were a nice shade of green. The drinks itself were way too sweet and I could barely taste the matcha. To note, this was better than a Starbucks matcha -- it just wasn't our cup of tea. It was good to try but personally, we are not coming back.

Dog friendly (maybe too friendly I don't want a dog being allowed to sit on someone's lap at a table inside?) Location is great and plenty of parking (paid) on a Thursday around noon. Disliked: WiFi wasn't working and the baristas explanation was "it gets messed up with the apartments upstairs, let me ask my manager" I didn't get a follow up or response later and I was there for a few more hours, they totally ignored the issue. Was never able to use the wifi. Bathroom key was being used constantly making an arbitrarily long wait for bathroom use. It's a perfect neighborhood-coffee-shop energy--welcoming, unpretentious, and quietly cool. The space is clean with a mix of locals popping in for their daily ritual and people lingering with laptops or catching up with friends...or dates? The coffee is consistently excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who care about what they're doing. Whether you're grabbing a quick drip or settling in with a latte, it's the kind of place where quality never feels fussy. Their pastries and small bites are a solid bonus (avo toast selection, yes, thank you). What really makes Central stand out, though, is the vibe. The staff is genuinely friendly, not performative, and the whole place feels like a calm exhale in the middle of the day. It's ideal for a solo reset, a casual meeting, or a low-key hang. If you're looking for a go-to coffee spot in Santa Rosa that feels both reliable and special, this is my new fav.

Love the space of the cafe and its location is great for the decent ample parking. Outdoor seating in front of the entrance is very much a backyard patio vibe and it's nice and spacious inside. Service was fine too and it seems all the cafe baristas work well and fast even when there's a rush. Noise level is good so anyone looking for a study spot or a place to catch up with a friend will appreciate that! My only gripe is that I think their matcha latte isn't that great. Not sure what they use and how they prepare it but by the end of my drink, I could see clumps meaning maybe they didn't sift the powder and whisk it enough to avoid that grittiness. I can't attest to their espresso drinks but maybe I'll give them another shot if I feel like a seasonal drink!

There was a table filled with a variety of baked items ranging from bread loaves to pastry items and cake slices (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=72&select=NVOJSQH4CKAEQCPDB7RQyA) and a printed sheet that listed most of the items (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=72&select=Zu874h8NV7G2T3KTk9UWLA). I actually walked by and made a point to stop back after finishing my shopping. I bought a variety of items, some that I recognized and others that I asked about. Bringing them home, I started with the first item the next morning in reheating the ham & cheese croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=WFYaC54tReBlOdQQOkVlVg) for breakfast. I was impressed as this was both attractive and the aroma was deliciously fragrant after leaving my toaster oven. The next item tried was the artichoke turnover (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=Xv23GFeaupc0jTY5p9Anvg) which was okay by comparison; the artichoke aspect didn't stand out. A day or two later, I had dessert with their chocolate peppermint cake (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=u87hx-uA6oJIB8Nj-Vw36Q); I wasn't sure how this would work as I feared one flavor would dominate the other but I was wrong. It works. A few days later, I reheated a Nutella croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=A9j9n9XYdw6fxy_oqQ7TEQ) for breakfast; sadly, like the artichoke turnover, this was underwhelming and I wouldn't have recognized it if I didn't buy this myself. The last item that I tried was the caramelized onion & 2 cheese quiche (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=yDZnidb7aVQdCf5mwHKbQA) which I forgot that I bought. It was a little after the best eaten by time so it probably wasn't as good as it should have been due to my poor memory. I reheated this and the savory flavors were there but there was a slight bitter aftertaste. My two favorites were definitely the ham & cheese croissant and the chocolate cake as I would get both of them again. Big thanks to Ike (pronounced (E-kay), who manned the stand and patiently identified the various items on the table for me. I will continue to look for things here when my pastry supply is low. Welcome back, Marla.
