This morning the bear cup came out. The store opens at 4am but there was a waiting line of costumers long before then. There was 2 bear cups and 2 Hello Kitty cups, before a worker grabbed all 4 and bought the entire stock in front of the waiting line. If you're not going to be selling to costumers, at least write a note online warning us of your poor service. It looked like she was holding them in advance pretending to stick them? I held off on making a review because I thought maybe it was just the day someone was having; but this Starbucks sucks. Clearly they don't read the orders after you place them, or they don't know what they are doing. I know it doesn't take much or too much effort, but when someone asks for extra of something just do it; I ask almost every time to get extra caramel drizzle; it's on the ticket; I even have the employees laugh at me when I say "a dramatic amount" so I know they hear me. Why is this so hard? I do tip generously; and I'm very respectful and considerate; but like seriously why! It comes with my drink that's already over priced anyway; but if I'm paying $7 for a coffee I'd like to get what I paid for the correct way. read more

I go to this location often (more than I probably should if I'm trying to budget). It's honestly hit or miss. I write this review to hopefully help out this location not to criticize. There are two young ladies that work the drive thru in the early a.m. They are both so energetic and one even knows my name when I first get to the drive thru speaker. Before I even say anything, she addresses me by name and says "Good morning". But then there are a few young men that don't exactly get 5 stars. I won't say anything unkind but I do think that they need to "shadow" the ladies for a few weeks. Don't be lackadaisical...it helps to move the line through quickly when you are enthusiastic. I love what I usually order and my latte is perfect, most times. One time, the flavor was missing but that's ok. It was only once. Keep the line moving with kindness! It really does help. read more

The main purpose of my trip was to get my dog his first Puppuccino. He loved it, as you can see from the photos! I got a medium iced green peach tea. Not bad. It was cold and refreshing. I got a chocolate croissant which I always enjoy. I just never get it heated. The service was quick and super super friendly. The barista at the window was excited it was Reaper's 1st Puppuccino and gave me extra napkins and told me I would probably need them =) overall great experience. Reaper gives two paws up! read more

Bottom Line: A large, free standing Starbucks where plenty of people gather. This is the only free-standing Starbucks in Severna Park and it's a big one. This location has a drive through but of course it is faster to go in. Inside there are plenty of tables, club chairs and counter space but this Starbucks also seems to get a lot of people relaxing for awhile so it can be busy. I drop in on weekday mornings around 8am and I'm also surprised with how many people are there with no hurry to be at work or anywhere else. Lucky them. I am usually out the door with my drip/brewed coffee in less than five minutes. The convenient location is what has me stopping in here but sometimes I take a detour to visit a small, local business form my java. read more

When I think of Starbucks, I think of everything right with the world! Their quiet atmosphere, refreshing drinks, friendly baristas, delicious cheese danishes...those are the devil, by the way...but I think about all good things and how visiting Starbucks has helped pull me through some tough times. So...if you think of Starbucks the same way that I do and you want to continue seeing it in a positive light, DO NOT VISIT THE RITCHIE STATION location. When they first opened, it was good. Then I noticed how the young man in the driveway acted...so unprofessional! He was young, so I gave him a pass but he would open the window, wouldn't greet you because he was rapping. He could have cared less if I was a secret shopper, a manager, or an owner...he just rapping! Then, when the pandemic hit, THEY GOT BETTER! I don't know who the young man was that replaced the rapper but he was so professional, nice, and I started going back to Ritchie Road. Lasted about a month, then I was in line for about 15 minutes one day and a dude with his pants sagging, underwear showing, and a gold du-rag came and yelled that the car 4 cars up was the last car. Of course I asked WHY? Y'all know I asked WHY! He told me that they closed at 3:00 p.m. for the past 2 weeks. I looked at the clock and it was 2:52. Went right to Woodmore and got everything we needed! The young lady at the drive through is ALWAYS professional! Always!!! Her attitude never changes and during this time, we need more of her. I appreciate the people working on the front lines, I do. I really do but if it's a day where you are feeling overwhelmed, take the day off. We don't know what you all are going through and you all don't know what we are going through. At any rate, it's always a good practice to be kind, to be respectful, and to treat others like you want to be treated. Great location! Lots of space to spread out and work. Plenty of tables, chairs, couches, and outlets. They make great coffee and other drinks. The noise level is above average. If you are looking for a quiet place to work, this is not the place to come. Parking can also be difficult. They have a small lot that fills up quickly. read more

I ordered two drinks through the starbucks app to be picked up at this location. A venti iced green tea latte with 7 pumps of classic syrup and 5 scoops of matcha powder and also a grade starbucks double shot with whipped cream added. I was driving out to a meeting in NJ with my boyfriend and was in a rush to get on the road. When I came in to pick up my drinks, I noticed the grande double shot didn't have whipped cream and that my green tea latte didn't seem like it had an extra scoop of matcha powder as it was still white (this may also be because they didn't mix the drink at all. There were clumps of the powder just sitting at the bottom of the cup with milk poured in. I thought perhaps it was my error through the app and my customizations didn't go through and I rushed back out to the car so we could get on the road. It was then that I realized that the grande doubleshot cup, did indeed show the "add whip" note on there and was ignored. my green tea latte also didn't seem to get any of my add-ins at all! read more

This is the biggest stand-alone Starbucks that I have come across. They have a huge counter, tons of seating and outlets and the music is just loud enough to hear and to buffer conversation but not to overwhelm and make you feel like you're in a club. Everytime i go here i either: A) am overcharged for something. I.e. 5.80 for a "custom tea" because i asked for half steamed lemonade, half water. A venti tea, add lemonade totals to 3.75 B) recieve a drink made horrbly wrong, whether they forget blonde espresso, use the wrong syrups, or give my the wrong drink entirely, pick your poison Or C) wait for so long in the drive through(that they have so carfully paced the way around so you cannot leave the line) that my drink is cold. I have never once been offered a refund, or asked how they could make my experience better after a complaint. All they do is remake my drink, which more often than not they put to the back of the queue meaning i have to wait twice as long as i should have read more

Went here solely for the reason to get my puppy a pupachino (tiny cup of whip cream) and after ordering mine and my moms drinks we get to the window to pay ($10 btw) and asked for a cup of whip cream and they said we don't have those here then proceeded to tell us they are short on whip cream after we offered to pay for one it's 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon and y'all are already low on whipped cream!? I hate giving one star reviews, but this Starbucks really deserves it. My boyfriend and I have been here a handful of times and I can really only remember one time where our drinks were made correctly. I work for Starbucks, but this review isn't me just being anal about differences between our stores. If anything, I feel like working for the siren gives me a better idea of what properly made drinks should taste like. That being said, when we order a white mocha frappuccino I expect to get a frappuccino with white mocha sauce in it, not just a sad coffee frappuccino that leaves something desired. My drink was rung up wrong so I didn't get what I ordered, but at least what they gave me was made to standard. Rude employee working drive thru! Due to renovation, the place to place your order is not displayed correctly, so it's not clear where to order. I waited a few seconds and no one acknowledged me so I drove through. When I arrived at the window the employee looked very perturbed I didn't order and said she could take my order but I would need to drive back around to pick it up! I have been coming here a while now and I often work in their shop. While I am here I watch how they treat customers and I am always impressed. Luke, the Manager, gets to know his regulars but above and beyond that he and his staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and satisfy their needs for caffeine. Just a tremendous experience. I would also offer - If you come to a coffee shop and they screw up your order, just ask them to fix it. If you are unhappy, this place goes out of their way to make it right. Stop being keyboard warriors and just address it and these guys will correct the mistake. read more

This is a free-standing store with private parking and a drive-through window. Great seating inside for communal connections, lounge chairs, and four-tops. I always prefer to bypass traffic on 97 during my weekend trips to the Eastern Shore by taking Richie Highway, and I have always wished Starbucks would add a store to this road. It finally happened, and although the store was built on the wrong side of the road (aka the opposite side of the road that I always travel), I am very happy that it is there! This Starbucks location is massive and includes a drivethru. I can't imagine you would ever have much difficulty finding a table to eat in. The staff is friendly and they get orders out quickly. Love this place, not their coffee personally. I love the environment there it's nice and big place to get work done. My only compliant is the PARKING LOT SUCKS!!! They need a much bigger parking lot because their current one is horrible. It's small, not enough spaces at times I have to drive around 3 to 4 times before i find a space. Been to Linthicum heights Starbucks and all of hanover and glen burnie locations as of jan 2017. This by far is the largest: most spacious in terms of empty space and seats. Granted a lot of folks want to run in and out with their coffee, so yes they do have a drive through. But I tend to go to coffeeshops primarily to study, write, or read. Rather than go into Baltimore (one day) I want to exhaust the nearest locations first which all tends to be Starbucks and no hand crafted lattes or cappuccinos within a 15 minute distance. This is a win because Starbucks drinks are standards and you can always modify it and because it has enough space to seat an estimated fifty persons which meets my criteria. read more

I'm always disappointed with this Starbucks honestly. More often than not, I don't like the way my drink is made and I never modify drinks or order anything complicated. This Starbucks lacks syrup. In my iced Carmel macchiato, all I could taste was milk and none of the vanilla syrup with the espresso or caramel drizzle. Probably because there wasn't any in it. I've never had this experience at another Starbucks. I changed up my order after being displeased with the macchiato at this location to a iced white mocha. Twice I ordered it and they made an iced mocha instead. I credit them for noticing the mistake before handing it to me though. Lastly, I tried an iced coffee with vanilla syrup and heavy cream. Guess what they forgot? heavy cream. My drink was dark and gross. Every time I order a grande in a venti cup with extra ice, my drink lacks ice. I've wasted so much money on drinks I ended up tossing at this starbucks I dont even want to try other Starbucks anymore. I hate to complain, BUT this store has gone through some dramatic changes reflected with poor disingaged staff. This morning I was running late. Got my order quickly, but the employee was unable to enter the computer/register. Being in a hurry I went to cream and sugar my coffee while she figured it out. Got back still not done or right. All the while the manager stocking a shelf in front of her. I complained asked for the manager who stood up and squared off in front of me confrotational. By this time the charges were complete, wrong drink prices, and I left. The manager sarcastically told me to have a nice day. Starbuck's is a big business and at times I'm stuck with it, but it's policy of hiring poor managers and employees in Serverna Park needs to be addressed.
