I came to PJ's Coffee last month on opening day. It was crowded and placing my order was somewhat chaotic. I came for the beignets and they did not disappoint. It had too much powder sugar for my liking, but now I knew how to customize my order going forward. I also ordered the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. The cashier informed me about their loyalty points program. Fast forward to today, I came by for a second visit. The interior was pristine with a nice playlist in the background. I ordered a white chocolate cappuccino and beignets with lite sugar. The beignets were perfect! The cappuccino did not have a noticeable white chocolate flavor, but it tasted good. I think they have the best beignets locally. The employees are also friendly and asked how I liked my drink. That's how I find out I could customize my cappuccino. Parking is available right in front of the entrance and they also have a drive through. Do stop inside because the ambiance is so inviting. read more

Terrible pricing. I was wayy more for less ice because i don't like coffee water down and too cold. This is first time I was charged for light ice. I paid almost $10 for large oatmilk latte. She said they are keeping price same as Starbucks. Never paid that much at Starbucks. I went drive through. read more

My and my friend came here to get coffee one afternoon. I specifically asked for less pumps of syrup in my coffee as I do not like it too sweet, however, when I got it, it was overly sweet. The service was okay. I did notice the barista asked my friend what size they wanted and how they wanted their coffee, but she did not ask me the same. Overall, the coffee shop seemed clean and they have their own parking lot as well as a drive-through. read more

I've been to this location before and didn't review. The Beignets are consistently good and fresh. Crispy and flaky on the outside, fluffy and airy on the inside. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but this was my second time ordering coffee from here. Not a fan. Very bitter in my opinion. I got the pralines and cream latte with almond milk, no sugar. I'll stick to my home espresso machine. I ordered the Turkey, bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit and that was a bit dry. I'll come back to PJs only for the beignets because they are delicious! Hey friends! I'm wayyyyy too excited that there's now a PJ's walking distance from me. I visited the Silver Spring location a couple times and fell in love! Today we were treated to a complimentary small brew of your choice. I got a caramel granita. It was so good! My only critique is for them to put caramel all the way through versus just on top. I'm actually not a huge coffee fan, so what I really came for was the beignets. The order was $6 and came with three. I enjoyed them. They went a little too heavy with the powdered sugar though lol. Powdered sugar and all black are arch enemies lol. I didn't get a chance to snap pics of the interior. I went around 10am and it was packed! The interior is small. A few tables to dine-in are available. Staff was super friendly! Plenty of free parking is available in the front and back of the building. I'll definitely be a regular at this location! Definitely not coming back to this location. The customer service was poor. The young lady who waited on us acted like she didn't want to be there. She walked away in the middle of our order. The King Cake shaken espresso was terrible and had no sugar. Our breakfast sandwiches were stale and hard. The skinny vanilla latte was just OK but the coffee/espresso just didn't taste strongly brewed or fresh. A disappointing $35 we spent for poor service and subpar food. We'll stick to the Bowie location. read more

Beignets are delicious, they are always hot. On my next visit I will be trying the coffee.

I went once (so far) on opening day on Monday, 11/4. They were giving out free small coffee for opening day, which got me in the door. I got a peppermint flavoring, and it was delicious. I decided to make a purchase of beignet, which were awesome. The store looks nice, and the staff was friendly. My only criticism was that the beignet & food prices weren't listed. In my case, it didn't matter that much as I was going to get the delicious beignets come hell or high water, and the price was about $1 more than I was thinking, but I didn't care. read more

I first had beignets from Cafe Du Monde, in New Orleans. I must say, I did not see the hype. I was not impressed. I came to the realization that I do not like beignets if this is what they taste like. Then here comes along PJ's Coffee of New Orleans. I was told their beignets were good so I decided to try them out. Bae Beh (said in a New Orleans accent) this hot, soft and billowy fried French pastry, dusted with powdered confectioners' sugar melted in my mouth. The pairing of beignets with the butter rum latte was a delicious match. I tried the peppermint hot chocolate but it lacked peppermint. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I would most likely stick with just getting beignets. I've been twice now and both times the coffee and biegnets have been great. The workers are still learning so service is a bit slow but everyone is very friendly and working hard. Owner suggested proof of payment via bank statement to confirm that a card was purchased. No help number on app to look up account. I would not recommend this location or buying a gift card. I really wanted to like this place. Been looking for a new local coffee shop. My experience is only with the drive thru but each time it has taken almost 15 minutes. For an iced coffee with cream. One of the times I was the only car and the other time I had only one car in front of me. The order was incorrect in the size. The cold brew was watered down and the asking for a tip each time is really too much. Good coffee (when not watered down) but terrible service. I will not be back. read more

Beignets were pretty tasty, but I arrive at 7:30p and sat down with my family while we waited for our food just to be told that they would be clearing out the lobby at 7:40p which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. My 1st experience I arrived well before they were closing just for the doors to be locked well before closing time and for them to not accommodate us. Wish I had a good experience here but that is not the case. I ordered a cafe au lait, beignets and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I got home and my sandwich order was wrong. I didn't really like the coffee and the beignets were ok. Brought the sandwich back to them and they gave me my correct sandwich order but it wasn't really good. The biscuit itself was very small and hard. I didn't even finish eating it bc it's clear something went wrong with making that biscuits. Can't say I'll be back especially when they knew they needed to present me with a well made sandwich after getting my order wrong on the first place. read more
