I travel all over the country and my go to for my remote job is Starbucks. After so many different Starbucks I find this particular store to have the best staff, manager, work space and atmosphere by far. Although they are super busy with instore and drive thru the remain to be so positive and friendly. The drinks are always right on and the service amazing especially since they bring your drink and food to your table if you are staying. Wow a first. The Manager Hailey is to be commended for here kindness and caring attitude to staff and customers and it is because of her the staff are all the same kind and caring to everyone. I have found the Starbucks I go to that have managers that are not caring or involved the staff are unhappy and even rude. But add a manager like Hailey and you have a family like atmosphere and feel cared for and appreciated as a customer. Every member of the current staff here are to be commended too for always going above and beyond always. I see some reviews that complain but if you are not satisfied with your drink or food they always make it right and guys remember they are human and can make mistakes. Also know since it is so busy you may wait but always worth it take the time to say hello to someone you don't know or if waiting in the drive thru take the time to listen to your favorite song or podcast. Life is way too short and times are too difficult to spend it being angry and inpatient. So enjoy the best Starbucks ever!! Love this store!!! read more

Copycat Starbucks dirty chai recipe--now you can recreate it at home! Step 1- boil some water Step 2- dip a cinnamon stick in it And you're done! Enjoy! But for real, this was the worst dirty chai I've ever had. No flavor whatsoever. I ended up throwing away most of it. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined. This a brand new Starbucks across the street from Target in a nice little shopping strip. The real effect of this on me is that now I can walk from my hotel across the street for my fix rather than drive all over creation looking for a REAL Satrbucks and not some Target kiosk. Good work whoever for the location. Service was spot on and everyone was trained right. read more

This newer Starbucks really adds something special to Shoreview. It's close to New Brighton so we make the stop here regularly when we don't feel like going into Roseville. I love the new Lexington Station shopping center. It has lots of good solid chain options for lunch or dinner. Another big bonus, it is across the road from Super Target! (And Trader Joe's, more importantly...) The service here is good and steady. The only gripe I might have is that there is never a place to sit down to actually enjoy your hot beverage, so I usually do the Drive-Thru. This is not necessarily a bad thing, it just means that it's so popular - always full to the brim. I haven't seen the Clover machine since I used to go to Starbucks by the U of M on Washington Ave. You can request any of their Reserve coffees on the Clover. They all taste amazing when brewed freshly for you and there is something unique and different about the beans when they are ground and brewed on the Clover. It is hard to go back to gas station coffee after you've had a Clover coffee. Yes, SBUX is a chainy chain coffee shop. But it always makes me happy. Your drink is always the same, and if by some odd full moon it is not, they are always happy to make it right and fix the issue for you. Much can be said for the simple joy of consistency! read more

Me and my sister frequently visit this Starbucks location but don't normally have any problems. Unfortunately today we received unsatisfactory service. For clarification we ordered two venti drinks, a sandwich, and a pumpkin loaf. The worker asked us to confirm our drink size and we clarified that our drink sizes were both ventis. However when we pulled up to the window we received only one venti drink, one grande drink, and the pumpkin loaf was completely forgotten about. As someone who worked in the fast food industry in the past the mistake is not the issue for me. What frustrates me is that we confirmed the correct order and still received the wrong one. More attention to detail is what I suggest for this location. read more

Sorry Starbucks. You've always been kind of the pretentious cousin of good coffee shops. Places where you feel like you are bothering the baristas by requesting room for cream in your coffee. Had to swing into this location today, wish I hadn't. No line, four staff on shift. I asked for an iced coffee or cold press or whatever they call it. Waited for about 5 minutes for anyone to actually crab my travel mug to just pour some pre-made iced coffee into it. When they handed it to me, I said "can you take some of the ice out, I asked for room for cream," the highly professional staff grabbed the mug and poured a fifth of what I just paid for and said "there you go." So I guess what I mean here is, thank you Arden hills Starbucks. You've made me hate your company just a little more. read more

Although it was a busy Monday morning, the service was good and the order was accurate. The large location helped diffuse the noise that usually infects smaller locations. This Starbucks is a nice place to relax if you have some time to spare. Otherwise, use the drive-thru and head on to your next adventure. read more

I like this place because it is close to my university so I can get a quick caffeine fix if my day is going slow. If you REALLY love sugar like me, I would recommend a venti peach white tea with raspberry and light ice (for an even sweeter taste, add vanilla!). As others have said, Starbucks is Starbucks. However, as Starbucks go, this one is pretty nice. The location is ideal, right off of hwy 694 and Lexington - across from Target. I go here pretty often, and have never experienced a Starbucks based issue. The employees have always been friendly when I've been in - which is typically during high-traffic hours around 7:30-8am. My drinks are always well made, the place is always clean and service is prompt. My biggest issue I've ever had is the consideration, or lackthereof, of other customers. For example: Don't go through the drive thru to order 15 drinks (literally, not joking) that are all super specific in nature (ie: grande soy latte with one pump vanilla and two pumps caramel with extra froth). read more

Starbucks is Starbucks. I don't really drink coffee, but I was looking for a place to do homework on a Friday night for a couple of hours. The frist issue I had is I waited at the counter top for a full 5 minutes while a woman working was restocing under the register. We made eye contact several times so I don't know why after I approchaed the counter it took her 5 minutes to ask "Have you been helped yet?" Obviously not. There were 2 other workers who saw me as well, but they were both making drinks... for the 2 other people in there. Another big issue, is the WIFI wasn't working! That was the only reason I went there, so I had to steal WIFI from next door, and it was super slow so I wasn't able to do much of my work anyway. read more

Great location across from Target - easy access to 694 and a short drive to Snelling. Went in at 4pm to grab my normal Venti Blonde Roast with cream and they were all out so I waited for them to brew another batch. After five-seven minutes the first single brew came out with coffee grounds in it. They proceeded to make another cup which took another 5-7 minutes. All in all, they ended up buying my cup but I would have rather spent the 2.50 and had my coffee in 30 seconds, rather than wait 15 minutes. Glad that barista bought my coffee... read more

I go here quite often. I can't complain. My drink has always been right except for once they messed up. They remade the drink and everything was fine. I normally pre-order my drink so the wait is not too bad unless it's the morning time. The staff is relatively nice. Solid Starbucks if you ask me. read more

So here's the response from the cashier to my wife's excitement to cash in her birthday free beverage after swiping her gold card: "There's nothing on it." My wife: "I haven't used it and my birthday was May 28th. Is there a expiration?" "Maybe...but it's not on the card so I can't give you your free beverage" This is after ordering a quad venti whatever for $6.50. No "sorry..." No free beverage card for "next time"...nothing. I'd gotten into the habit of getting in early before work at 6am, going in and grabbing a coffee and something to eat, and reading the paper/surfing the web. In those days, I would have given them 4 stars. Recently, they changed their opening hours so now they're down to 2 stars. The drive-in window is open at something like 5 am, but now they don't unlock the front door until 8 am. (Presumably, the drive-up window traffic is greater than indoor traffic, so they're trying to be efficient.) I have to be at work at 8am, so there's no longer any point for me in going there. I can still grab a coffee, but a huge part of the experience was going inside and chilling to start my morning. There's another coffee shop a half mile down the road. The food/coffee aren't as good, but at least I can continue my early morning pre-work ritual. EDIT: Since posting this, I've learned that this location will be opening their doors at 6am now. I guess I wasn't the only one upset by that. I've changed my rating accordingly. read more

This is a great coffee shop. Although often busy, the employees are always attentive and friendly. They're also always cleaning or doing work around the store which must be done to keep things tidy. The service is great, too. My only wish is that the store could be larger. I know this is beyond their control. I understand that many people were irritated with the different opening time of the shop a couple of months ago. This was due to a police issue in the area and was done for protection of the customers and staff. Now resolved, Starbucks is back to opening early for those of us who need that morning coffee. I also think it is thoughtless for people go thru the drive thru and order many specialty drinks. Please consider those behind you when ordering from the drive-through. read more

They have a consistent taste in their coffee, which is something I look for. I have always been helped right away with no issues and the staff seem friendly. On occasion they do not talk much. I have noticed that their WiFi goes down once in a while, but that is normal for how many people use it on a daily basis, as I am a Network Specialist. 4 Stars read more

If you want me to simply save you time, there is a Caribou Coffee just down the road and they would be happy to have you as a customer. Less expensive coffee, free refills on drip coffee and more relaxed environment. This is the first time I have been to a starbucks in a while and I remember why I don't go to them anymore. I have never ordered somewhere and felt like a inconvenienced them by making that order. I asked for it in a mug and the person taking my order said something along the lines of, "what do you mean a mug, like a cup?". Yikes. Honestly the people here just don't seem happy to work here, but maybe thats just the overall starbucks vibe. Very rude. Assistant manager hung up on me for an unknown reason. I called back and she was very defensive with an attitude. It would be nice if the manager would take action and fix her poor attitude with customers. Other than that the place is nice. read more
