The barista on duty recognized her regular customers and had several of the drinks already prepared. I brought my two dogs in when I found out they were welcome inside. I sat in the back on a comfy couch to finish my drink. There is a free library in the back, some board games and Buddhist art on the walls. There is also a more barren private room next door with room for about ten people. While my coffee wasn't as strong as I needed it to be, the ambiance definitely will bring me back to this lovely place

I chatted with the owner Seth who is passionate about his beans. I enjoyed the taste even without cream. I asked for him to grind the Guatemala coffee that I bought for a friend. He gladly complied. He removed a few bad beans as he poured the bag of beans into the grinder and grabbed another handful of beans to replace the beans he took out. I hope to sample more of his coffee.

The prior owners of this place also used it as a coffee shop, but then moved north to a bigger building. The interior hasn't changed much. I walked in shortly after 8 am on a Monday and ordered a large iced coffee flavored with white chocolate. The espresso is from Lavazza Italian brand, a smooth bean that I also use at home. I had a friendly chat with the owner, Bree. There was one other customer at a table working on her lap top. Three more men walked in shortly after I did. It was a very friendly vibe all around as I sat on a comfy couch and used the free wi-fi to write this. The extended opening hours are a benefit as there is nothing in Hereford for exclusively tea and coffee. And it is open on Sundays! By the end of the month the outdoor area will also be open, and additional shade will be provided. While there were not too many pastries available during my visit, I was treated to a warm cinnamon bun, baked by a local Mennonite woman. It complimented my drink well. I opted for a small blizzard of Choco Strawberry. The young gal waiting on me was prompt and efficient. No complaints at all. The blizzard came to $5.96 and filled me up. I sat outside on the metal bench watching traffic go by with my dog. My only complaint is that the area behind the store is trashy. There's a ditch in the back that may not belong to the store, but when I worked fast food, I made it a daily thing to police the trash around the building because it's all about making a good first impression.
