Just to clarify what one reviewer said, this isn't the college park starbucks. They are both on cherry hill road, but this location is at 29 and cherry hill and it is not a drive thru location. The college park location is at route 1 and cherry hill. read more

Poor, poor service. It was very under staffed and one employee spent time talking with a friend while customers waited to be served.

I've never had a bad experience at this location unlike many of my fellow yelpers. The service is not over the top friendly, but they do not give me an attitude either. I usually come in the afternoons and the place isn't busy. Sometimes it's hard to find a table or seat when trying to study or do homework, but other than that this is an A-ok location in my book. read more

pretty good place. I always get "good enough" service...but they do need to cheer up a little. Drinks are good, no complaints on that. And as far as parking, there's plenty of parking! There is a whole lot near the place across from Shoprite! So whoever said hardly any parking, maybe you need to get on your two feet a little! I wanted to get my Target on & decided to chill at Starbucks. It is conveniently located inside the store. The area is clean & spacious. You can gaze out the window or just chillax....unless you have a chatty, opinionated employee. We'll call him JoeStarbux. JoeStarbux is well versed in the lottery, how to save for your family, Justin Bieber, how bratty teenage girls are and restaurant compliance. JoeStarbux seems out going and is probably a hard worker. I wanted to get off my feet for a little bit and grab a quick bite. I can't report on the food or beverages for two reasons: 1) Joe Starbux is on his mandatory 15 min break & had to close down. 2) I am going to spend my discretionary funds somewhere that values the customer. I don't need to hear how the customer traffic prevents Joe Starbux from getting his break. So if you are visiting Target, take your break at Subway. There is also a Chik Fil A just down the street. Starbucks, since this location is apparently really busy, how about hiring another employee so Joe Starbux can get his break? read more

They got my order wrong and they weren't wearing gloves so they scooped out the whip cream right in front of me and for my cup all dirty. They did not give me a glove. They also didn't even know what they had ins rock for pastries. They didn't even ask my name to call out my drinks so when it was done they just kept looking at me and saying, "Oh I think that's your drink." So I'm VERY disappointed. Overall: slow, not particularly friendly service. When I came in on a Monday afternoon, there was one customer waiting for his drink and another sitting down, enjoying her beverage. It was pretty empty, so I figured I'd be in and out quickly. I was mistaken. Even though I was the first in line (with 2 people behind me), it took more than 3 minutes for any employee to talk to me. They kept glancing at me, then going back to whatever they were doing (it doesn't take 3 employees to make a drink for the only customer waiting for one so I have no idea why I was ignored). Finally someone came over and took my order. Later on, I had to repeat my order, which wouldn't have been a big deal except this employee also had to clarify the orders from the customers after me, making me think he was not paying attention to anyone. I sit down and wait. And wait. And wait. 10 minutes go past and I'm still waiting for my drink (nothing fancy, just a caramel frappucino). In that time, the employees have remade a drink for the customer who was waiting when I initially showed up (after much deliberation with the customer about what he actually ordered) but I see no progress made toward mine. Finally I get my drink and sit down. I observe a few other transactions during my visit, 2 of which were also incorrect. The employees seemed to squabble a tad about where the communication breakdown occurred and the tension was palpable. I'm not sure if they were having an off day or if all these employees are new, but this is the slowest and most inaccurate service I've experienced at any Starbucks. A few lessons in customer service (like verbally acknowledging customers even if you can't help them at the moment or how to smile and make eye contact) would do this location well. I'll probably come back here since it's the closest Starbucks to my house but I won't expect much for customer service. read more

Friendly service. If you are regular in the morning, Rochelle will remember you and your drink which is so unusual in the DMV area. They have a bar with lots of seating. They sometimes take forever to make your coffee though, even when the place is kinda empty. read more

Recently renovated this is a nice small place for a Starbuck's Fix. It can get a bit crowded at peak "coffee time". Parking is plentiful but I've always run across some crazy drivers in this parking lot, perhaps it's the way it's laid out, don't know, just be careful. The staff here is good, while pleasant enough not always chatty, perhaps because they are busy. They have on occasion brewed single cups of their Pikes Place when I've stopped in later in the afternoon and they've run out. The kind of customer service I appreciate rather than the standard "Sorry we're out." response you often get. read more

I love coming here in the summer because I can sit outside with my friends but I hate it in the winter. Its so tiny inside that if you're not lucky, you and your friends will be sitting outside in your car. Otherwise, the staff is mostly friendly and they make a decent drink. read more

I've been 3 times. First two were fine. I don't drink anything from SB but I do enjoy the bagels and pastries on occasion. On my 3rd visit. I ordered two bagels, with butter. Super simple right? Well the woman doing the toasting had butter fingers and dropped the butters on the floor. Then she picked them up and put them in one of the bagel bags and handed the bagel to me. Where exactly is that acceptable? When I asked what she did with the butter that dropped on the floor - she looked surprised I said anything and then grabbed the bag she thought she put the dropped butters in. Now I have to say this - had she dropped the butters and handed them to me I wouldn't have had a problem, after all, the butter is wrapped. But to place them in the bag with the bagel? Not a good look Starbucks. I'd imagine this isn't the first time this has happened. And certainly won't be the last. Oh well, it was only a bagel right? And eating foods that have essentially touched the floor help build the immune system right? read more
