Great coffee shop, was in College Park so I decided to stop by for a cold brew and some beans to go. Nice service and the cold brew was ready very quickly. The beans were some of my favorite their El Salvador selection. Inside is small but has some seating. Overall a great place to get coffee and get some beans for home. The best coffee in the DMV

    Half bagel with avocado, tomatoes

Really good. It's no wonder there's a constant line here. A bit packed and chaotic but the line and order comes quick. Small bathroom but decent. Not too many seats but we were able to find some. I parked a block away in the retail paid parking area and walked over. I got a half bagel with avocado, tomatoes, micro greens and balsamic vinaigrette. It was perfectly toasted and fresh. I got my matcha latte with oat milk at 50% sweetness and it was probably the best matcha latte I've ever had.... The sweetness was just right - there were chunks of matcha at the bottom but I thought it wasn't too bitter so I really enjoyed it. I rarely finish a hot drink in one sitting like that.

Vigilante brews are my favorite beans in Maryland so far. if I see a coffee shop sourcing their beans from Vigilante, i am there. you can't go wrong with any of their drinks. a classic hot latte will always be at the top for me. that way, you really get to taste the flavor of the beans! always a go to spot for me. ALSO!! the hyattsville location is amazing - they do a 30% discount on all drinks after 4pm; their "happy hour" which is perfect for broke college students like me haha

I ordered the honey cinnamon latte. It was served warm/cold, which was weird because I saw them make it and I picked it up when they called my name. I like my drinks hot and it was just odd that it was served on the colder side. Cute location. Maps took me behind the coffee shop and I had to pay for parking so make sure you stay on the main road and park in front of the shop for free parking. Nothing was exceptional here so I won't be back but it was fun to try.

Still one of my favorite independent coffee shops. I've gone a total of two times but every time I go their coffee is on point. I got a small London fog iced with oatmilk and it was perfection. My boyfriend tried their tin Lizzie espresso in vanilla latte iced. I tried some and I enjoyed the hazelnut/earthy taste but has. Service was average. They actually forgot to make my boyfriend's drink and saw us waiting. But it came out quickly after they realized. The shop is pretty small. It's also quite noisy so not really my place to study.

Very cute adorable coffee shop in College Park, very close to the University of Maryland. It has a low key eclectic vibe, as it's an independent coffee house. They have a collection of coffee house plants, giving that homey vibe. The coffee and pastries are very reasonably priced, coffee is under $4. The staff were friendly and courteous, very cooperative when I request my pick up order. If I'm close by to this location, I'd definitely stop in again.

This is such a cute little cafe. Our niece is a freshman at UMD, and she was home sick. We picked her up and asked where she wanted to go. She chose here. The service was great. Food and drinks are delicious. It hit the spot. The only drawback is parking, but we did get a spot. Love the vibe of this place. Wish there is a place like this closer to home.

Vigilante Coffee is a quaint coffee shop in the heart of College Park, MD. Like most coffee shops you can order ahead via their website or order in. It's a frequented hot spot so parking is competitive in the small parking lot. My favorite drink is their dirty chai. Their servers are warm and helpful. Offering an array of coffee, teas, pastries and bites they're the perfect little getaway to sit and read, get some work done, or just enjoy your cup of joe while people watching. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a couple of local restaurants nearby in walking distance.

It's the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, packed with real mango flavor, creamy coconut milk, juicy mango chunks, and chewy sago pearls. It's my go-to treat, especially on a warm day. First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

However, I would say that the music plays from a little Bluetooth on the corner of the restaurant and it's not the greatest quality, would cut in and out, and it was just blaring way too loud, making it hard to have regular conversations. Service wasn't too bad overall. There was only one weight staff who had all the tables in the restaurant which made her spread out pretty thin. But we wouldn't get regular refills or Water and took so long to get water (waiting up to 20 min to try to get her attention) and at the end of our time together she finally gave us a pitcher of Water, but a little late as we're most done. Also, it took a while to get basic things we had ordered coffee but either she forgot to bring us coffee or she didn't ring it in and we weren't able to get it until after our food was delivered. So service, while she was friendly and kind, our service was definitely subpar. Hopefully this wasn't bc she had automatic tip bc our party was so large for her lack of service. 1/5 for service The food was amazing for the most part. I had gotten the salmon BLT and it was moist and tender with good flavor and seasoning, and the bread had a great texture and flavor to it as well. The bacon was nice and smoky and the sauce that was paired with it made it great. The hashbrowns were so crispy and seasoned with great flavor and salt! This was a winner! 4.5/5 Yeah, I got a bunch of other dishes, but I only tried small bites here and there of other people stuff. What I would say, is that the Cajun pasta shrimp was cooked perfectly and was tender and had great flavor! And that sauce was amazing! The sausage I tried wasn't the best but decent! We got biscuits and wings as appetizers, and the wings were great, good flavor, good crunch, and a decent size. However, there needs to be more wings in the order for the price. The hot honey sauce as good! 4/5 The biscuits were pretty moist and had a great texture and consistency, You get two for the order! 4/5 Overall, the food is pretty amazing. However, the service was pretty bad. Maybe this was a one off but just prepared for a long waits for everything from water to getting a drink order.
