    Latte
    Kim P.

My go to is their latte with oat milk, though I love a specialty drink, especially if it's not super sweet. This year the chai-nog was that drink. Creamy and spicy without too much sweetness. I often get my coffee beans from here. They print their roast date on the bottom of the bag (roasted at their hyattsville location) and they always have a great variety of beans. Occasionally I'll get an almond croissant and enjoy it if there's seating. On nice days, there are benches right outside, even with a view of the parking lot and the construction across the street, it can be nice. I enjoy this location, though parking is tight. If you're not lucky enough to get a spot, you can park next door in the paid lot behind the businesses right past Vigilante.

Great coffee shop, was in College Park so I decided to stop by for a cold brew and some beans to go. Nice service and the cold brew was ready very quickly. The beans were some of my favorite their El Salvador selection. Inside is small but has some seating. Overall a great place to get coffee and get some beans for home. The best coffee in the DMV

    Half bagel with avocado, tomatoes

Really good. It's no wonder there's a constant line here. A bit packed and chaotic but the line and order comes quick. Small bathroom but decent. Not too many seats but we were able to find some. I parked a block away in the retail paid parking area and walked over. I got a half bagel with avocado, tomatoes, micro greens and balsamic vinaigrette. It was perfectly toasted and fresh. I got my matcha latte with oat milk at 50% sweetness and it was probably the best matcha latte I've ever had.... The sweetness was just right - there were chunks of matcha at the bottom but I thought it wasn't too bitter so I really enjoyed it. I rarely finish a hot drink in one sitting like that.

honey cinnamon latte with oatmilk!!! a special treat to myself

Vigilante brews are my favorite beans in Maryland so far. if I see a coffee shop sourcing their beans from Vigilante, i am there. you can't go wrong with any of their drinks. a classic hot latte will always be at the top for me. that way, you really get to taste the flavor of the beans! always a go to spot for me. ALSO!! the hyattsville location is amazing - they do a 30% discount on all drinks after 4pm; their "happy hour" which is perfect for broke college students like me haha

I ordered the honey cinnamon latte. It was served warm/cold, which was weird because I saw them make it and I picked it up when they called my name. I like my drinks hot and it was just odd that it was served on the colder side. Cute location. Maps took me behind the coffee shop and I had to pay for parking so make sure you stay on the main road and park in front of the shop for free parking. Nothing was exceptional here so I won't be back but it was fun to try.

    Iced London fog with oatmilk

Still one of my favorite independent coffee shops. I've gone a total of two times but every time I go their coffee is on point. I got a small London fog iced with oatmilk and it was perfection. My boyfriend tried their tin Lizzie espresso in vanilla latte iced. I tried some and I enjoyed the hazelnut/earthy taste but has. Service was average. They actually forgot to make my boyfriend's drink and saw us waiting. But it came out quickly after they realized. The shop is pretty small. It's also quite noisy so not really my place to study.

Very cute adorable coffee shop in College Park, very close to the University of Maryland. It has a low key eclectic vibe, as it's an independent coffee house. They have a collection of coffee house plants, giving that homey vibe. The coffee and pastries are very reasonably priced, coffee is under $4. The staff were friendly and courteous, very cooperative when I request my pick up order. If I'm close by to this location, I'd definitely stop in again.

Ive had more than my share of milk teas here in the US, overseas in the land of boba, Taiwan, and…read morein HK and this place sadly fell short of what it could be. First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

This time, I noticed they had a pho + milk tea combo, so I ordered it through the app. When my food arrived, I got the pho but there was no broth, just dry noodles. I also ordered beef pho with meatballs, and there were only two tiny meatballs, no beef at all, and the noodles were soggy and overcooked (and not how it looked in the photo advertised). My fiancé took it back so they could fix it. When he got there, he called me so I could speak to the worker. She told me, "I can pour some juice in it, but since you added meatballs, you'd have to buy another $14 combo to get beef because you didn't add beef to your pho." That made no sense why would I order another pho just to get what I already paid for? I told her I did add beef and asked her to check my receipt. She immediately cut me off, said "not my problem," and walked away. I was honestly in shock. I wasn't rude or yelling I just wanted my order corrected. It's just pho, but the customer service made the situation so much worse. She refused a refund or to give me her manager's information. Eventually, she handed my fiancé the soup, but the lid wasn't on correctly, so as soon as he got outside, it spilled all in the bag. At that point, I just threw it away. I'm honestly sad because I loved this place it's such a cute spot to study if you're a student, and the decor is really nice. But after this experience, I probably won't be coming back. I ended up having to order actual pho on Uber Eats, so I spent about $51 out of pocket for a replacement... which is insane in this economy i tried to call to get a hold of a manager to speak about the incident but their business phone number is suspended and is no longer in service I've attached a screenshot of my receipt below with the date to show that I did, in fact, order beef.

The cookie was delicious and had a slight salty flavor that complemented it well. The biscuit was good too but tasted healthy. I would order it again. I would revisit Manifest Bread to try more of their menu items. The service was great, there was room to sit inside and there's a dedicated parking lot. The sweet potato/chili/pistachio bialy is quite a creation, really like it, zings big time. I've never seen that flavor combo in a bialy before and hope they keep making it. The gingerbread with meyer lemon glaze has a very deep ginger flavor that's quite memorable. Not as keen about the breads. The community sandwich loaf is too plain for me and the sourdough breads are tame.

The service, especially by the woman who runs the place, is often chatty and friendly. The coffee is good. I highly recommend the mocha; they make the syrup from scratch using dark chocolate so it is not so overwhelmingly sweet. It's my favorite mocha in the area. They also sell a variety of canned and bottled beverages.
