    Strawberry Aa Refresher

Normally I have a good experience at Starbucks, but this visit left me disappointed because of how an issue with my order was handled. I ordered a strawberry açaí lemonade refresher, which is something I order regularly. When I got to the window, I noticed the label only said strawberry açaí, so I politely let the barista, Chloe, know there may have been a misunderstanding and that I had ordered the strawberry lemonade refresher. Instead of simply acknowledging the mix-up, Chloe responded, 'You said strawberry açaí.' While she did offer to remake the drink, the response came across as argumentative and dismissive rather than helpful. Mistakes happen, and I wasn't upset about the drink being made incorrectly -- I just wanted it corrected. A simple 'Sorry about that, let me fix it for you' would have made the interaction feel much more respectful and customer-friendly. I hope this feedback helps improve how concerns are handled in the future.

Another new location for me in Simi Valley. Driven by this location so many times and even parked in the Target parking lot for my breaks but only stepped into this store recently. It's a nice large Starbucks with lots of tables both inside and outside. Since it was warm out today, I got an iced pumpkin chai and sat down for my lunch break. The bathroom is clean and the dining area is clean. The only thing odd to me was that all the outlets are up above the windows. So you see all these people having to step up onto barstool seats to access the plugs. That definitely doesn't seem safe. My drink was good and I was glad to be able to stay cool for a bit.

Walk in and go straight for the register and for the first 40 seconds Diego doesn't say hi, hello, how are you, what can I get for you until he notices I won't tell him what I want if he isn't going to start with the basics. Maybe he is use to pushing buttons when ppl just blurt out what they want but I'm old fashion I suppose. Simple greetings go a long way. This Starbucks layout has a lot of old table with lots of ware and tare. First time at this location and there is no reason I'll come back since I'm just passing by. My hot mocha has way too much whip cream which I didn't ask for Diego. The drink it's self taste great once I get past the cream. Walk into the restroom and it's decent; no trash. Customer service was poor. Lobby was old but nothing broke or dirty. Drink was delicious and perfect. Restroom was okay but the light turns on slow. 12/09/23 5:07pm

Terrible business practice to make an extra buck! Fill the cup to the proper level!!

Been coming here for years and each time things get worse. The latest offense is they have adopted a policy of filling cups to only 2/3. I purchased a venti mocha (20oz) and they only filled the cup to 13oz. They did the same for the tall I ordered for my daughter. Horrible way to increase profits by shorting the customer of the product sold. Shameful!!!

Comment section is brutal for some really hard working employees who have to deal with a lot of pressure. Got a drink today, got messed up. No big deal, Diego assisted me, I think he's the supervisor. He made everything better and his customer service was amazing. It's the little things that, young man made effort for large cooperation and it will probably not be appreciated. So I hope this review helps in anyway. Thanks Diego.

One of the better Starbucks in Simi, the service is good and the drinks are phenomenal. The place itself isn't anything special.

Makenna Coffee is seriously such a hidden gem!…read more I first discovered this place completely by accident a while back when one of my girlfriends and I were on our way to go camping. We were craving coffee, searched for the closest coffee shop, and happened to stumble across Makenna Coffee. I remember absolutely falling in love with their coffee and thinking, "I cannot wait until we come back this way so I can get this again!" Unfortunately, I never ended up making it back... until today! We happened to be in the area for an appointment at the Jeep dealership, and when I realized Makenna Coffee was nearby, there was NO WAY I was leaving without stopping. This was only my second time here, and somehow it was just as good as I remembered. Taylor helped me and she was such a sweetheart! I couldn't remember what I had ordered the first time, so she helped me pick out two different drinks to try -- the Sandy Blonde and the Maui Latte. I ordered them half sweet, and they were still a little sweeter than I normally prefer, but honestly, they were amazing nonetheless. I'm usually a black coffee/Americano kind of girl, but every once in a while I get a serious sweet tooth and want something fun and indulgent -- and Makenna Coffee is PERFECT for that. Their coffee is so good, and there's just something about this little spot that I've loved ever since I accidentally discovered it. I only wish I lived closer because I would definitely be here way more often. If you're ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop at Makenna Coffee. It's one of those little gems you're so happy you found.

BUT, upon checking the online ordering on their website, it is so much more clear that that was an optional add-on. Kind of felt like they were just upcharging me to upcharge idk... Ambiance was good. Quiet, clean and the plants all around are a great touch. Don't get me wrong, the coffee and food are great, especially the speciality drink.
