Seriously, there is a manager that works here that's a total loss. I go to Starbucks nearly every morning and order the same drink. I must say Every other location I've gone to has always been extremely accommodating and polite. This location always charges me more money and when the boss is on the mic absolutely declines it in the worst way! I was so upset I drove to the next Starbucks and they of course made it with no extra charge and a smile on their face and voice. I wish I could get a refresh on management that doesn't hate everyone and isn't rude. Heck there is even a closer coffee stand I guess I can just do that. They too have a rewards program read more

Dropped by to finish an app challenge for extra stars, so I was here in the late afternoon. The place was almost empty, so it was nice being in a clean, quiet location. The employees were nice and kept themselves busy with app and drive thru orders so it was nice to not have to deal with a lot of chit chat. I know Starbucks wants the employees to engage with customers, but I'm an introvert, and I don't want to talk. I once had a barista at another location ask me, "What's your favorite color" and I kinda wanted to punch him in the throat for making me talk. This Starbucks honored my desire to be left alone. I've had many issues at this Starbucks over the years. The drinks always tasted off compared to all the other Starbucks locations I've visited. My grandpa and I visited a couple weeks ago and had a bad experience. We went inside and placed our order. We started getting antsy when we realized nearly 20 minutes had passed. My grandpa asked if our drinks would be ready soon and we were met with silence at first, then a snappy remark about their system being down. That may have been true, but there wasn't anything hindering their ability to make the drinks. A couple minutes later our drinks were up. We walked out of there upset and I realized once we got in the car that they didn't even add the Carmel drizzle I asked for. I didn't go back inside as I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. This is a five minute drive from my house and I'm so happy to have this Starbucks right down the street because everyone is SO kind. It's always very clean, I love the open space layout cause I have a toddler and she has more room to walk around, haha. I have never had any bad experiences here, so I highly recommend! The drive through is terribly slow, when I pulled in there was only four cars in front of me. It took 10 minutes to get to the window. Then another three or four minutes to get my drink then they forgot my water but by then I had to go to work girl that was working behind there. She didn't seem too nice or two pleasant to be around. I was there today at 1:15 and I left at 132. My opinion, the girl there needs more training on the window. read more

We were heading to Elbe, WA and the Sbux app directed me here. This location closes at 8, and we got there just in time, as the baristas were mopping up the floor. I've been to a lot of Starbucks around the world, and I really like the "Woodsey" look of this location. It's clean, its impressive, and there's plenty of space inside to sit, chat, or just lounge. You can bring friends and enjoy the nice location. Unfortunately they close early, at 8:00. Perhaps this location doesn't get much business at night? Too bad. It would be nice to come here after dinner and chill. They do have a drive thru, and the staff seem super nice, too. read more

This is probably my favorite Starbucks in the area, but there are some down sides. 1) they are pretty much always busy because they are pretty isolated and the only Starbucks in the immediate are. The mobile orders are always slammed and if you go inside to order you may be waiting a little bit. However, if you can get through the wait indoors, you will see this is one of the best stores for customer service. Additionally I like the layout and the feel inside this store compared to others in the neighborhood. read more

This location is not the best, for some reason the drinks always taste off, and the employees are not happy to be there. The last time I went through was early in the morning, all I got was a tall caramel apple spice (made wrong might I add) and a breakfast sandwich, the gal working the window had a bad attitude, and I still gave a cash tip. When I handed her the tip, she didn't even say thank you... In fact she didnt say anything... just took the cash and went about her shift...which I thought was so awkward and rude. As someone who works in the service industry, it rubbed me the wrong way. I would rather drive out of my way to a different Starbucks location. read more

Is it a crime to give Starbucks one star on Yelp? No, honestly I have to ask that because I know that this company has such a great reputation for customer service. This particular location however falls short of the Starbucks standard. The picture that I'm about to attach is molded blueberries. My husband ordered the oatmeal which he normally loves to get in Renton at our local Starbucks. He was horrified to see that the blueberries were molded. Not a small oversight. By the time we were already on our way to the ranch and didn't have any time to spare to turn around and have this correct it. Honestly, if we had the time we probably wouldn't have done it anyway. The customer service at this location is really lacking. That is something that is just not normal for Starbucks. Very disappointing to say the least. As always I have to be honest with my fellow yelpers. So you may want to give this location to try when you're out South of Tacoma Washington. However, I just cannot recommend it. Our orders at this particular Starbucks are wrong about 50% of the time. It's either not the right temperature, caffeinated when it says decaf, and sometimes it's completely the wrong drink. We especially love the time that they were out of Splenda for at least a week. Extremely poor customer service. You can see Walmart from this location - you think the manager would've gotten off their butt and walked to Walmart and gotten more Splenda within that week's time. My boyfriend and I decided to go get breakfast sandwiches and drinks around 8 A.M. today at this location. We were almost home and I went to eat my sandwich and there was a long blonde hair hanging out of my sandwich. So, we had to turn around to get a new sandwich (keep in mind this is not the first time I have received food with hair in it from this location). I wasn't going to post a review until I was nearly done with my drink and noticed there was a long dark hair inside of my drink. I won't be going back to this location again. Me and my friend came in today and asked about the Cloud Macchiato and the nice lady at the cash register recommended we try one of them and that vanilla was her favorite. This location is fine if you walk in and tell them to their faces what you would like, but if you're going to order through the Starbucks app, forget it. EVERY time I send a mobile order through, it seems like the baristas don't care about getting the drinks right. (Mind you, I'm not one of those people who has extremely complicated orders. If I ask for light ice, I would like light ice. If I want something sweetened, or if I want extra caramel in a drink, I would ask that those things are done correctly.) It gets very tiresome having to take the drinks back after I've brought the drinks home to my family, only to find that they are wrong. In short -- don't send your mobile orders to this location. I swing by this Starbucks nearly every day on my way to work. Usually the order is correct and beverages are hot. Today I had a very weird and rude experience through the drive through. The drive through was mildly busy and my car front bumper was barely to the intercom. the barista comes on the intercom "welcome to Starbucks, order when you're ready." typically this would be a fine intro, i however, was not in view of the menu or a spot where I wasn't screaming out the window to communicate with the barista. After another attempt on the baristas to get my order, and not able to without hanging out my window to get my voice to carry, I finally pull up to the i tercome and menu board. Her response to me pulling up to the intercom was "well are you finally ready to order since you've finally pulled up close enough for you?" Just not a great way to start my morning with a rude barista. read more

Anything from Starbucks is a five star in my opinion but every time I go to this location the service is VERY slow. Doesn't matter either drive through or walk ins. I waited 15min for a single order at one point. This one time I went there and there was no one at the drive through! I thought they were closed but the planets must have been aligned and I was first in line. I hope they get better. read more

Three trips to this Starbucks in two months...three failures. 1 - mid June, morning, runs out of ready made coffee. They said it would take them five minutes to make. I didn't have time...had to get to work. 2 - Aug 21, morning, barista takes my order. Then she proceeds to take the orders of the five behind me. I had to ask her to serve my coffee so I wouldn't be late to work. A staff of five; four of the five were working/helping the drive-thru window. Specifically ordered an eggnog latte with very little milk in a 12 ounce ceramic mug. Received instead a 50% cut eggnog latte in a paper disposable cup. Barista was nice enough to ask if I wanted it poured into a mug but she missed the entire point of why customers specifically ask for non-disposable mugs when staying in. The customers service is usually fine here but they almost never get my order correct. I ask for kids temp and almost never do I get it. This place said the kids temp is 135 degrees but every other location I've been to says it's between 120-125. I've temped my own coffee after I get all the way home and it's 140... I've complained to management but nothing changes. I wonder how many children have been scalded from them not knowing how or not caring about doing it correctly. Otherwise, coffee always tastes good and good is always fresh. read more
