I could say that the Starbucks is a Starbucks, but I definitely like going to this location. I especially enjoy the service from Olivia and Camille. There are two of my favorite barista's. That are very personable and kind. They always have a smile whenever I see them and everyone there seems to be very professional and my order is always made correct! Sometimes I like to hang out because they have really cool ambience and chairs. Also, I love getting my drinks in a cup if I can stay longer than a minute or two. Parking is pretty convenient as other places are pretty packed. I definitely recommend this Starbucks store. read more

What a nice atmosphere in this Starbucks in Sparks, off Los Altos Pky. My first time in. I ordered a Hot Chestnut Praline Latte with whipped cream and special sprinkles. I have never had a rude barista but today Macey was taking our order and either she was having a bad day or we caught her in a wrong time but she was completely rude and didn't want to deal with us. She wasn't as pleasant as our usual baristas. I had no idea what to order and I asked what her fave drink was and she was just "I don't know what you want" attitude. We came to the window and after giving us our drinks we asked for a large water and she rolled her eyes and grabbed the cup so hard And fast and poured the ice in with some aggression! This is my favorite Starbucks. I know most of the Barista's by name. Eric, Carmen and Amber to name a few. I hope they all get KUDOS as they always have a smile and a kind word on their lips. They are always cheerful and will uplift anyone coming thru the drive thru. However today was way different. I went through the drive thru like I normally do. The person working the drive thru seemed put out that he had to take my order. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. When I drove up he helped me add my money to my Starbucks app. But when he handed me my Very Berry Refreshers they were wet and sticky. Normally the barista's wipe that off. He seemed annoyed when I asked him for some napkins saying that the cups were wet and sticky. I don't know if it was because it was late in the day or if he was having a bad day. This Starbucks is located on Los Altos pkwy next to walgreens. The store is a good size with ample seating and comfortable seating selections. The wifi is excellent both inside and out. There are a couple of tables to sit at outside on warm days. The coffee i ordered was delicious. I really was expecting the starbucks burnt taste, but my latte was really good. This is my family's usual (and favorite) Starbucks in our neighborhood. They are quick, courteous, and usually remember you and/or your usual (even if you regularly just go once a week). I appreciate the fact that they all work together so well to get you your items quickly and accurately whether you are in the drive through or go inside. Another nearby Starbucks focuses on the drive through much more and it can take you quite awhile to get your items inside (even if you are taking it to go and the only ones waiting). It's like night and day with the service and friendliness of these two and this one most definitely wins! If you are parking to go in, I highly recommend that you park on the part of their parking lot that faces out and away from Starbucks and over on the half that is in front of Fed Ex. It is much safer pulling out of that area, because many times people come racing around that corner over by where the drive through comes out. I've heard of others who avoid this Starbucks because of this, but you only need to park in the correct spot. This is the only negative, so when you choose to take my advice on where to park... there is no reason not to go here. I also highly recommend their rewards type program. Like I said, we usually just go once a week (and also often on road trips), but we still have earned free frappuccinos several times. read more

Music ALWAYS too loud. Speakers actually blown out with an extreme distortion caused by too much bass because the store speakers have been pushed way past their capacity. The employees play the music to be heard behind the counter over the sound of refrigerators, grinders, and espresso machines. The speakers are on the other side of the lobby from them, so they don't think one bit about the customer's experience having to all but to all but yell to hear and be heard by the person sitting 2 feet away. read more

Whhhhaaaaaat?! My precious Starbucks is closed on a Sunday?! Anyway, I don't normally come to this location, but I should because it's closer to where I live. It's crazy that there are two flourishing Starbucks within 5 mins of each other and another one just down pyramid highway MAYBE 10 mins away! I ordered my usual: venti quad iced late 4 pumps vanilla 4 pumps hazelnut. It was pretty standard. The thing I like about Starbucks is its 8.5x out of 10 pretty consistent. That's typically why I choose the chain company over the smaller coffee shops. The price increase pretty much sucks. Big time. I went from a (dare I say) daily Sbucks drinker to a maybe once every 2 weeks. Sad, sad panda. I'm excited for the holiday drinks to come back around in the fall.
