A family friendly coffeeshop. They always make our drinks right. Coffee quality is wonderful. Taste great and makes me smile. They offer other things too, but I have only had the coffee. They do ice or cold. Conveniently Located in the food court. Wish they will expand to their own coffee shop one day. Would be nice to grab some coffee and catch up with some friends too.

Medium cup of coffee and 3 madeleines for under $5!

Decided to go shopping at the mall for the first time in a while and of course had to get food. Ate some pizza first and when I was about to head out, I noticed this new little café. I didn't feel like ordering anything too complex today so I stuck with a medium cup of coffee ($1.99). They had their bunch of baked goods right by the register and a jar full of madeleines (pre-packaged) that was all too tempting. Was just gonna order one for $0.75 but the cashier went for the up-sale and said they also sell them at 3 for $2. I caved. Anyway their main desserts are the ice cream cookie sandwiches which I will definitely try next time I'm here! The workers were very quick, friendly, and full of smiles!

I wanted to try their coffee first before I make a review but heck their ice cream was the best I've ever had. I got a scoop of mango and a scoop of coffee on a waffle cone and one taste while paying I exclaimed to the cashier that it was really really good!!! Then she added it is good plus it is locally made (Minden) and it's gluten free!!! Oh no wonder why it tasted so fresh!!! Now I see myself always passing by here whenever I'm in the mall ugh!!!

This place has the freshest tasting ice cream I've had in a while, much better tasting than Baskin Robbins. I was with two other people and we all ordered large milkshakes. While it is a bit pricey for a what you get (around 5.50 for the large, which is more like a medium), it is worth the price. There was a coffee flavor my boyfriend got and I recommend anyone who likes coffee to try it. Also, whipped cream is .15 extra, not a big deal but a bit of a surprise when I've never been charged for it before at other places. The gentleman who made our drinks was very polite. Overall, I REALLY love this place and will come back because the quality can't be beat.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here from begin to end. The staff was kind and attentive, we had a waitress who sat us down and got us coffee and water, and after that it was uphill from there. We had three other servers stop to ask if we needed anything or wanted to give our order, and once we made up our mind the waiter who helped us did a fantastic job. No pen or notepad, he remembered our order with full detail and not one mess up. As we finished out appetizer, sides, and meal he continued to come by and take our plates, refill our water and my coffee. He was on point. By the end of the meal I paid the bill and gave him a cash tip and thanked him. He seemed happy and thanked us for stopping in and conversing with him. Highly recommend this place to anyone, oh, and the food was on point! Sweet, savory, delicious, and it made me wish there was a place like this back home!

Our party enjoyed the breakfast crepes, including Nutella and strawberry varieties, a carne asada burrito, and country-fried steak and eggs served with a mix of hash browns and country potatoes. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous. Arnie's Café is a must-visit breakfast spot. Come hungry--you'll be glad you did!

Brunch menu is spectacular. I really enjoy their kale salad. Would dock a half star for the inconsistent fulfillment of the online orders. At $20ish per dish, some consistency would be great. So when picking up, definitely take a moment to look at your food before taking it away.

As a longtime Reno customer I've watched them grow from a single location into a multi-state restaurant group with six locations across Nevada and Tennessee -- and that growth is well deserved. That said I do want to share one honest observation. On top of premium pricing, which I'm happy to pay for quality, Perenn also charges subscribers for their Substack newsletter. For an independent bakery scraping by, that makes complete sense. For a thriving six-location restaurant group with real momentum and expansion capital, it feels like a bridge too far. The brand story and the people behind it are genuinely compelling, that content should be how you invite customers deeper into your world, not an additional revenue line. The food earns five stars. The Substack paywall earns a raised eyebrow. Share your story freely, you've clearly earned the audience.

Without getting into details, the team went above and beyond for me today and delivered genuinely world-class hospitality. The least I can do is leave a strong review for a great local small business. The quiche and the plátano latte were both excellent. The vibe is relaxed and refreshing, with a cozy, welcoming feel. They also have free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets if you need to get work done. This is officially my go-to coffee shop in Reno. Thanks to everyone at Café con Papi!

A warm, bright spot in an otherwise bleak part of Reno…read more My wife and I needed a break from a multi-day volleyball tournament and were thrilled to find a Cuban coffee spot down the street. Immediately loved the vibe; colorful, mural filled space with many seating options, a lunch counter and an outdoor patio area. Super chill, friendly staff serving an eclectic clientele. I'd give it five stars if they were a bit more on point with the Cuban end of things. My wife and I are Anglos, but we're both Miami natives, so we're kind of purists when it comes to our Cuban stuff. This was definitely more "Latin inspired." We were looking forward to traditional pastelitos, but found they had more Mexican sweets and a guava and cheese brioche, which was delicious, but not authentic. Our Cuban sandwich had no pork and the wrong bread (and came with tortilla chips?), but the sandwich itself was quite tasty. And our cafe cubano was a nice coffee, but a bit thin and had only the amount of sugar a sane person would add, which is about a third of what would be in the real deal. So if you want authentic Cuban, this isn't really it. But if you're looking for good coffee and food served by cool people in a warm, funky environment, this place rocks.
