Stopped here because there is a dog park/walk attached to this location. My husband went in and ordered 2 drinks. They apparently weren't taking names and didn't understand his order-- a simple black cold brew with peppermint cold foam and a hot peppermint mocha. He said they gave him the wrong order 3 times before he just said eff it and took the last 2 things they gave him-- one of which was a large iced sugar cookie latte with almond milk and cold foam. He also said none of the employees seemed to know what they were doing and kept dropping drinks. Basically, it was up to the customers to read the drink labels and guess which was theirs. He kept mumbling about dumb@ss hipsters. He says he would give zero stars if possible. read more

Stopped here to get gas while on a road trip and saw one of the best signs. It said Starbucks. Was thankful to see my favorite one stop drink spot out here in never stop here again land. The menu was the same with some.new highlighted holiday pumpkin everything treats. I got my regular order and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. That might be a record. Swift service in the drive thru. Never a long wait. They are extremely friendly and conveniently located right off the interstate.

Located inside the travel center right off of I-95, this is a pretty easy location to get in and out of. The downside is that you will actually need to go inside because there isn't a drive-thru. When we stopped today, the staff was working hard to make sure all the orders came out quickly and correctly. The supervisor was helping to keep everyone on track, and we definitely appreciated that. This is the worst I've ever been to! It started when I went to the drive-through and sat for more than five minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence before finally pulling around and going inside, Bear in mind, I have two stress fractures in my femur and did not want to have to get out of the car. When I got inside I was the fourth customer in there, and there were six employees behind the counter, including two in the drive-through nook. The employee who took my order did not take the correct order so the drink that I got, while acceptable, was not what I ordered... Stopped at Starbucks at around 2:45am. Only one young man working. He proceeded to ignore myself and 2 other customers while he was cleaning. When he finally acknowledged me after making me wait about 5 minutes he informed myself and the other customers he had no hot coffee....and was very rude. I asked why they were open he said they have coffee that he just had not made any...never offered to make any either. Very rude and horrible customer service. This is a full fledge Starbucks at a rest stop. I think its still in Va, but truthfully I have no Idea where I was. I just saw Starbucks on my path down 95. Worst service I've ever had at a Starbucks. Employee asked me for my order and walked away while I was mid sentence to make someone else's order. Finished ordering, espresso machine went down so I ordered a nitro cold brew (which was fine). Instead of pouring the cold brew right away, he took 2-3 minutes to put coins in his drawer. The staff here made my road trip stop a pleasant experience. I stopped in for a coffee pick-me-up on the way back to Charleston. Everyone here was smiling, friendly and polite. They were extremely fast too! I ordered a Java Chip Light with a shot of Espresso for a bit more pep in my step. My drink came out perfect! Just being treated like that, made the next 5 plus hours of rush hour traffic from Richmond to the PA border, bearable. Disney, Starbucks, and anywhere on this planet that claims to be customer service conscience should do a simple study and stop here for a half hour and talk to these ladies. Obviously they aren't there all the time. But they were there around 3 on this particular Monday and I am so happy they were. The product was as it always is. But these ladies rise above all that. A 24/7 location within the Davis Travel Center off of exit 33 on I-95. I've never had a problem here, great service, great coffee. However, it seems that this Starbucks is like the ones you find in grocery stores....it may look like a full-blown official Starbucks, but isn't. They don't accept any of the rewards on your Starbucks card, BUT they will happily use it to charge your drinks. read more

The store is attractive, and they seem to serve the full line of drinks. However, do not come here expecting to use your Starbucks app or to get a refill. They are NOT A CORPORATE STARBUCKS. Apparently, they are a "Licensed Starbucks Location." The manager was kind enough to explain to me that there is a big difference when I came in for a refill while travelling today. Apparently, they are an independent coffee shop that has paid to use the name but retains the rights to run their store differently than an actual Starbucks would. One of those differences is that they have a policy of NO REFILLS! It is disappointing that these stores are not labeled differently than a Corporate Starbucks because I've come to expect a uniform, positive experience when I visit a Starbucks store. By licensing their name in this way, the Starbucks parent company is giving up the ability to maintain uniformity of their customer experience. In general, I wonder what other differences may be allowed. Do licensed stores have the same training program? Do they use the same purification and remineralization process for their water to ensure the best taste? Is the experience so varied that we have to evaluate each licensed store independently? I don't know, but I will certainly avoid this Starbucks location and others like it in the future. Yelp - Can we start labelling these types of stores as "Starbucks (licensed)" or something similar? read more

I have been to plenty of Starbucks around the globe, and this Starbucks, by far has one of the best, friendliest, and fastest services ever! My father and I walked through the door, and were pretty discouraged about the huge line winding through the store. We were dead last. So we chatted for a bit about whether or not we should leave or stay- we were running late for a meeting. By the time we made up our minds to leave (about five minutes), we literally were nearly at the head of the line to be served. Service was pretty amazing too. I've never been served by a better barista in all of my experiences at star bucks. She was polite, witty, patient, and very helpful with helping my father understand the menu even when there were people behind us. We did not feel rushed. Also, while she was helping us, the other barista was helping people in much a similar manner. But with a more decisive customer, she was able to breeze through the line while we were still being politely helped by our barista. We didn't wait long for the order either. Love love love this place! And thank you ladies for the very wonderful experience. read more

Nice having a Starbucks that's open around the clock for those starbucks addicts like myself. Stop at this rest area/plaza and get coffee and fill up your tank. They then said that it wasn't fresh, and that they'd have to do a pour over for blonde. They never offered to do it so I left.
