Waited 15 minutes behind four cars and the order was 75% right. Check your drinks before driving away. Staff must still be learning.

The stone ground bread is hearty and comforting. I would only say the service is a bit on the slower end taking awhile to make a few sandwiches/wraps. However, a great spot always!

My sister had a bowl of the creamy asparagus soup and the TAB (turkey, apple, and bacon) on GF bread. She got it the recommended way with banana peppers, onions, and spinach. The combination of sweet, savory, and tangy really made this sandwich!! The creamy broth on the asparagus soup was so delicious. The chicken tortilla soup was also really good with a slight kick and huge chunks of chicken. I do wish it was a little less thick (or condensed), but just my preference. Their cheesesteak came with marinara on the side. First time I had one with marinara, but it had great flavor. The steak was juicy and good, but a slightly smaller portion than I expected. I did only get the mini size though. The veggies were sliced extremely thin and it was toasted before the spinach and tomato were added! Service was excellent- extremely kind and very helpful! The inside was gorgeous with the brick, wainscoting, tin ceilings, and local art!! Definitely recommend this quaint little gem in downtown Stoughton.

I went with a butter chicken tart, Secret Garden (veggie) tart, cheddar scone, and the Victoria sponge cake. Everything was delightful! For my tea I selected Republic of Tea Sip and be Merry flavor - loved it. The atmosphere inside was warm and festive. There were holiday decor items displayed for sale and cozy seating in addition to tables. They even have a cozy little nook for kiddos! I am looking forward to future visits to try other goodies! I did take home a ginger spice cheesecake bomb (sooo good) and a slice of the Ukrainian honey cake (yum!). Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful cafe!

And it's close to our house. And I drove past it for years. To Koffee Kup. To Pancake Cafe. To Luke's. All great. I didn't go here because in the boys' words it "looked sus". And it does. It looks like a divey bar on the outside. And unsurprisingly it is on the inside too. But What it IS is amazing food wise. Everyone talks about the French toast. Having never had RumChata in a cocktail I can't comment but that toast is OFF THE CHARTS. But so is the biscuits and gravy. A ton of meat. Service is strained but lovely. And when you see what that cook is working with you're even more impressed. A 6'X4' cooking station and you make this? Wow. My only complaint is the bacon. Not great. Not actually good. Worth a drive to Wittenberg to buy cases of odd cut Nueskes and this place is almost James Beard Award worthy. Appearances are deceiving. Do it!

Visiting Stoughton, we had just finished lunch and were looking for a place to grab a little…read moredessert. We headed downtown to check it out. Since it was a Monday, most of the shops and restaurants were closed, but Cheesers was open -- and they had Babcock (UW-Madison) ice cream. It's a cute little shop with lots of gourmet food items, wines, and gifts. We got a couple of cones. Union Utopia for me, served in generous portions on a sugar cone. So good on a warm day. The owner was super nice and told us a little about the downtown area, especially the Opera House that offers concerts. Definitely seems like a place we'd love to come back to.

So when we were heading to Stoughton we knew we needed to stop at this place. The store was hopping on a late Saturday morning. We were there for the cheese but the front part of the store was filled with wine and liquor (they also have a tasting room upstairs - apparently it is a do-it-yourself tasting). They also have gifts and gourmet foods. The cheese counter probably had over 100 selections. There were many tempting cheeses. We selected a smoked blue cheese that we are looking forward to try. Given the wide selection we will definitely stop here again when searching for interesting cheeses even though it is a 25 minute drive.
