I've been going to Starbucks for years now (this one included) and I have to say they provide the worst service out of all the locations that I frequent. The past couple visits they missed an item in my order and this morning they didn't even check their mobile orders. What's the point of having the ability to do this is they don't even check for them? I do not live in Tucson but commute here once a week and this Statbucks is a great place to get work done. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick! The latte's are not burned, plenty of outlets, and fast Wifi. Quite a bit of space and some secluded spots if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of an active cafe. I highly recommend their new Blonde espresso, it adds to the flavor of my vanilla latte quite well. Also, lots of parking and it has a drive-thru. read more

This Starbucks always has a long drive thru line. The first time I decided to brave the wait, I was in line for over 25 minutes. Really. In the last month I have decided to skip the need for a chai because of long lines a handful of times. This morning there was actually a line short enough that I wasn't sticking out into the parking lot. I got my chai in about 10 minutes, though it was quite watered down. This is my favorite location to go to. It's a little crowded at times and pretty much always has a steady flow of customers. In the area for the weekend & needed the daily fix lol, & this location had a really long line for the drive thru so we almost didn't come, I'm happy we decided to go in! The shop was very clean & the staff was very cheerful despite how busy they were! They got my drink out in a timely manner & it came out perfect! I come to this Starbucks pretty often and 3/5 times I get great service. But this most recent time I ordered a strawberry acai with lemonade and received ice with a little bit of my drink. I asked the barista if they could make it with light ice, and not only did I get a bit of an annoyed face, but the second drink I got had just as much ice. Went there today at around noon the Barista that was making everyone's drink kept spilling half his drink and mixes all over the counter then it was dripping all over the floor and into there ice storage! Normally they do a great job. They always are in a good mood,, I know several of the baristas but lately the wait has been quite a bit longer. it is getting better so I won't rate them down on it yet... The drink orders are always spot on and they are overall great at handling a big crowd. They treat each other very well and I was able even able to watch them train a team member. They did so with respect and lots of patience while still serving customers in a timely fashion. Kudos to the team for doing this in a fast paced environment. read more

Haven't been to this location in a while, glad we went back. They are always so nice no matter what time you go. The day we were there the register froze and had to be restarted. It took a little longer to place my order, but they were so pleasant the entire time and for us, it was a do nothing kinda Saturday so we were in no hurry at all. I was going to get a few more drinks, but got frustrated and kept quiet and only got my 1. Coming from a customer's point of view, customer service makes or breaks an experience. I usually use the drive through at this location so my review can only speak to that... the items are not consistent, one day they make your order perfect the next day they tell you they ran out of ice once you get to the window to pay and after you have sat in the line up for 20 minutes, and another time you may get your drink completely wrong. Also, the staff here is not friendly or polite. So if you want to take a chance then go to this location. If you want to get a delicious drink from a friendly barista go to the many other great Starbucks around town. read more

I was HOPING that I would finally get my drink, ordered at "kids temp" (125 deg, warm)... actually at kids temp and NOT scalding hot. Wrong again. I don't know why it's so difficult for them to get this right, especially for a $5+ drink. I honestly wonder if they don't know everyone is in a hurry for work and in too much of a rush to go back and complain. I regularly have this problem and end up with a burnt tongue. On one occasion, I made sure to stick my finger in it before driving off and realized how hot it was. I politely asked the drive through person to remake it at kids temp. While I was waiting, the girl at the window chatted with me and told me she is also sensitive to super hot drinks. By the time I got my newly made drink, I was in a bit of a hurry, so I quickly grabbed my drink around the sleeve, dropped it in the cup holder and drove off. A few minutes later I was on the freeway and reached for my drink. I grabbed around the upper portion of the cup, where the sleeve did not cover. It was so hot that I nearly dropped it on myself. I looked at the cup where the printed sticker usually is (that shows what was ordered). Because they remade it, there was no sticker. Handwritten with a sharpie (in HUGE print) it read "X-HOT". Hmm. Disgruntled employee upset that I called them out for making my drink wrong? Were they trying to punish me for asking them to do their JOB correctly? I know what I thought, but you decide. I'd give anything for a half-priced-just-as-good mom and pop place nearby. I hate that this Starbucks is the only thing near me. read more

Horrible horrible service!! I walked in to order a decaf black. The cashier wanted to know if it was a "decaf this" or a "decaf that". I just want a decaf. "Well no one ever orders decafs. That's going to take a while. You'll just have to wait! Is that OK with you?" Well, I guess I have no choice. So I sat down and waited and waited. Finally the cashier ( same one who took my order for the black decaf) calls out, "Do you want room for cream?" Ugh, no, black means no room for cream. Then the barista called out several minutes later, "Vente decaf!" I walk up, no decaf. I stand there for five minutes. Still no decaf. I go back and sit down for five minutes then finally I walk back to the counter and ask about the decaf they called me up for. " Oh I haven't started it yet". I kid you not, 20 minutes from placing my order to getting my coffee. That's ridiculous. The barista apparently knew I was unhappy so she got me back. She put the lid on so the drinking hole was on the crack and it would drip on my dress. Thank you. That was thoughtful. Had to drive home to change before going to work. read more

Too bad we cant give negative stars for reviews! I came in yesterday to pick up my minile order and after waiting @ the counter for 3-5mins ignored, I finally had to be strong voiced to get anyone's attention. While I was waiting (ignored) at the counter to be helped, other customer kept coming up next to me and they ALL were greeted with a smile and a "good morning." But whenever I tried politely to get assistance, some staff just looked at me & past me to help others! During this time of me waiting to be helped, my order was sitting on the back counter getting cold... Whats the purpose of mobile ordering, when you still have to wait at the mercy of bias barista's?? The store was nombusier than usual and yet only certain customers were receiving adequate customer service. This is why I only patronize Starbucks when I have a goft card, otherwise I spend my money at establishments that appreciate ALL of thier customers!! This is why I will continue to dine elsewhere....
