This Starbucks rarely gets my drinks right and the line takes forever!!! Least favorite Starbucks in town for sure!

I really dislike how close this is to my house because I see it and crave a toffee nut coffee but I forget the baristas move at a speed too slow to register until it's too late and I'm stuck waiting half of my life for my toffee nut coffee that turns out to be a vanilla coffee. Why?? WHYY??? Now, either someone is switching the labels as a terrible joke or those "baristas" just don't know how to read the cups.. Oh that's right, the barista at register didn't write anything on my cup because he thought he would remember...WAY TO GO BIG GUY! Usually I don't write reviews, but when passing through Tulare I stopped to get a coffee and I was pleasantly greeted by Marissa and I must say her customer service skills are amazing. She recommended one of the bagels and I was not disappointed at all! Marissa if you ever read this keep doing what you're doing because we need more workers like you in this country. Clean store. Staff was very friendly. They acknowledged me when I walked in and as I left. The drive thru was very busy but the Batista "Amanda" knocked it out of the park. Not only was she keeping the drive thru line moving but she was also getting the customers inside their drinks equally as fast. Will come back again. She made my drink perfect! The one star is for more than 1 reasons. 1st they were out of the fruit that goes into the drinks. I order total of 4 drinks so after awhile I get 2 drinks and the guy says were working on the your other drinks so I waited and waited finally a good 20 minutes after I went to the register and I had the guy to get on my drinks and they were no where to be found it was ridiculous the amout of time I had to wait I wasn't the only one there was another person who had been waiting for their drink and I know they lost his cup. read more

I have to agree with some of the previous posts on here about the speed. I've been waiting in the drive thru not even at the speaker for 15 minutes. Get to the speaker and they are out of the peppermint for the peppermint white mocha I wanted. So I had to settle for a regular white mocha (believe me there is a difference). Moral of the story: drive thru takes forever and once you are in the line, there's no going back. Be prepared to sit at least 20 minutes for your drink (if they aren't out of the ingredients). read more

S-L-O-W-! Stopped in on a Thursday morning around 10:30. Ordered an ice green tea with some plain chips and an egg salad sandwich. They Had to go to the back to get plain chips all they were stocked with in the front was barbecue. They were out of napkins at the self-service dispenser. My drink took almost 10 minutes despite the fact that there was no one in line. The priority seemed to be to get the drive-thru orders done first. read more

Waiting in lineeee. If you want a quick drink it's probably easier to wait in line at the target one. This is one of the only drive thrus for Tulare and even going inside to order or mobile orders always take a long time here. Maybe it's just the large demand of drinks but you need to definitely designate an hour just in case for waiting time especially during peak hours like 7am or 4pm. read more

Starbucks of the year 2K used to sell pastries that were of a big and satisfying size. Nowadays they charge $3 for a scone the size of my thumb. SMH. The coffee is always good. The internet is good ever since google became the provider. I would like to pick up a parting position since I love Starbucks so much. All and all good service and products. My only tip is that they should acknowledge the patrons that are at the pick up side of the counter because some of them are there for mobile orders and shouldn't have to flag down employee for help. Many times I am within 2 feet of an employee and they don't even acknowledge me. I know the app says to let someone know that you have a mobile order but they should have customer service and ask if you have a Mobile order or if you're waiting on a order you placed inside the coffeehouse. PLEASE acknowledge everyone who is waiting by the pick up area and ask if they have ordered through their mobile device, we live in a society where most people are polite and wait to be spoken to if the employee is busy. And customer service employees should already be doing this. We can all say were busy and make any type of excuse but at the end of the day the customers are why you have a job. Basically you have two jobs in customer service, don't make mistakes and have great people skills. I went on April 23, 2016 well passed the original comment date of this review and the order was made correctly but I had to wait 10 minutes until i got a hold of the employee because they did not acknowledge me Starbucks... Good corner location. Option for drive-thru..wait is not too long but lately since Oct-Dec, they have been slacking! Big time..new employees, I noticed and not as cheerful or knowledgeable. Open hours: 4:30am - 11:00pm..wow! Clean..but cold, needs warmer ambience, better music. Their drinks: not bad..better mixes than Visalia. Their service: needs improvement. One of the Workers there that goes by the name "NICOLE!" Is very unprofessional, belligerent and exhibit unsafe health practices!, she does not Wash her hands after placing the drive thru headsets on her head and adjusting or fidgeting with other devices behind the filthy computers there! Jenny the manager is extremely rude. The worst customer service I have received!!!! Wish I could give Zero stars.

I ordered 1 pumpkin spice latte grande in the drive through and when I get to the window I'm told my order cost $15.05. It turns out the cashier didn't ring up my order, it was the order of the vehicle behind me. So, I had to wait a few minutes for them to make my beverage and then she comes back to the window and says 'I'm only going to charge you $3.05 for that order and you can have the pumpkin bread on us'. Thanks, but I didn't order pumpkin bread. It was the weirdest exchange I have had at a Starbucks. Not going back to that location. read more

Horrible service! The worst Starbucks I've been to in a long time! The audacity of this male worker working the drive thru still has me wishing I had spoken to his manager. This happened around 2:40-4:30 on January 6th. I asked for a grande iced black and white mochas with extra ice. I pull up and he hands me the drink and I can tell right away that they had put a lot of milk in the drink. Too much. There was hardly any ice. So, I handed it back and told him that I had asked for extra ice. He reads the cup and agrees with me. He then proceeded to walk over to the sink and pour half of the drink out and put more ice in and then he handed it back to me!!!! Two shots of espresso, syrup all poured down the drain! What kind of coffee logic is that? My $5.00 drink became a $5.00 joke. I was so mad and he was so arrogant. I asked him if he poured the drink down just to see where his logic was and he acted all smug about it. I had been a barista before. I know how Starbucks baristas are supposed to make the drinks and this guy was an absolute slug. Poor example of an employee. What an embarrassment. If this is their example of good customer service, they drink some of their burnt coffee until they shit out better espresso beans. Dumb asses! read more

Would be a 2 star review, but the customer service always seems to be nice and I never have an issue with that. However the coffee sucks, and it's so sad that this place is the main source of to go coffee in Tulare. I order the same drink most of the time and it always tastes different. When I order matcha tea, it never comes shaken, I have to do it myself and make a mess of things. So disappointed that a 3rd one is coming to Tulare, people please, stop going to Starbucks. This is by far the worst Starbucks...was here 3 day ago and it took 26 minutes to move 5 people through the line to order. The girl on register was new but there was no reason why the employees that were stocking coudl not have stepped up to expedite the line. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned today....worse that the last visit. Today there were no new employees to contend with. I ordered my drink (frap) and 25 minutes later I asked if my drink was forgotten. During this time I watched at least 6 other people that came in after me get their blended drinks...Really????? When I asked about my drink the barista was rude and told me that she makes them in the order she gets them. In my opinion a much better response would have been "sorry for the delay, it will be right up." Such a shame. I just got a small hot chocolate and a protein box. The gal at the window for drive through shoved the protein box in my hand. Gave me my hot coffee as if she is doing me a favor. So sad.... appreciate the people who purchase from Starbucks. I told her to be kind and she just raised her eye brows. Tuesday 8/17/21 at 6:22 am I went to this Starbucks & it definitely reminded me why I drive to Visalia for coffee when I live in Tulare. I was in the drive-thru, placed my order & went to the window. Now at the window everything is normal until I ask for a side of sweet cream because my coffee was still bitter. Now I've never paid for a side of cream or for a bad drink to be replaced at the Visalia Starbucks stores but this Tulare site (Prosperity) wanted a $1 for cream, about a 1/4 cup. I said I've never been charged before & the young female cashier (possibly new) didn't know how to respond, so Jasmine (manager, maybe) asks what the problem is, I tell her, she said that's policy, I told her even at this site I've never paid for cream, she just kept saying if you want it it's $1 do you want it or not, I told her that they should start operating like the Visalia sites & I should Yelp them, this Jasmine actually said go for it & don't forget to google review us too.. what a professional manager you have at this place & she must not care about her job or the Starbucks reputation. The next day I went back to my usual Visalia site & wasn't charged a penny for extra sweet cream. Good job Visalia Boo to all Tulare locations, especially the Prosperity site read more

We came at around 6pm, and the drive thru line was almost to the very end. I was expecting the service to be really slow, but it was actually faster than expected. Our order was taken by Tyler and he took it fast with no problem. My drink was only a little melted when I got it. That has to be my one small complaint though. I would definitely come to this Starbucks again. I can understand some of the bad reviews, because morning Starbucks is still morning Starbucks. read more

I hate to be one more voice dogging on how slow this place is but there is only so much you can blame on a long drive thru lane. To the guy that justified it by length of lane and "fast food standard" time, it shouldn't be a three minute average per car. Most folks only order one or two drinks.There isn't (theoretically) just one guy back there doing it all. It's not rocket science. Also, when I use Yelp for coffee places I'm only trying to find one nearby on the map and not spending a lot of time reading reviews for what should be a quick transaction. Wow what a busy Starbucks, even at 9pm...well what else us there to do in Tulare ha ha. With a constant flow of traffic from the drive-thru and customers walking in - I was amazed at the hard work to keep the liquid bean flowing from both sides of the counter and window. I will mention that Sarah was awesome keeping up with a professional attitude while juggling what appeared as the task of managing and making drink. Great job! read more
