Starbucks is always my first choice of coffee . Their app and promotion are very good . Also the service and basic Starbucks standards are very fast and efficient. Sometimes they tried to make sure you have a little more fun by having a little message on the cup. Since now I'm always on the go, I hardly ever uses their fast and reliable Wi-Fi network anymore inside. Walked in to order a cold beverage, and use the bathroom. Noticed that the location had a brisk drive thru business. Inside was clean, with plenty of tables. Ordering was simply done at the counter and had a yummy and cooling Frappuccino. Single occupant bathrooms, with access code obtained via the staff. Bathroom was clean but had to advise staff it needed tissue. Overall a nice stop on my way home heading out of Los Angeles. read more

The store was very clean and had a cozy feel to it. A young guy by the name of Will smiled at me and my daughter and said "how's your day going?" He then continued to converse with us. We enjoyed the conversation with him. He got our order right and made us laugh. Will appeared to be able to multitask with no problem. The ONLY thing we did not like was there were no Christmas decorations up. The place was drab! We were told at another Starbucks that they were told by one guy none of the stores could celebrate Christmas. So either this guy is an atheist or he doesn't want to offend anyone. The whole world, including non believers believe in celebrating Christmas. I mean Starbucks sells Christmas gift cards. I think it stinks that they no longer decorate their stores for Christmas! Wow! My boyfriend and I were on a roadtrip to Truckee for camping very early in the morning. We came through the drive thru at about 5:45 AM which is too early for most people, but not for us! This location messes up my drinks the most !!! I didn't call it in this time but today I ordered venti with extra ice and pumpkin topping and for whatever reason I got a trenta which I didn't want , no extra ice and no pumpkin topping .. I know custom drinks are annoying but why is it so hard to follow the label ? I also ordered a wrap and she never called my name when it was ready so it was cold when I noticed it was there . I use to come everyday on my lunch but reduced coming because there's always something missing or wrong with my drink. With the increased prices it gets frustrating. I stopped in here to get my usual morning drink before heading over across the street to run a race that started and ended at the Iron Horse Trailhead. Per the usual with any Starbucks that I visit, I placed my order ahead of time on their easy to use mobile app. Even though it was early at about 5 am and the 2 employees there looked very busy with the drive-thru orders, they still were pleasant and took the time to greet me. We were chatting it up like old buddies that haven't seen each other for ages. I ordered a hot Peppermint Mocha w/almond milk and whip cream and it was delicious. Even though the baristas were busy, everyone looked like they were having a good time. If they were stressed they didn't show it. The only think I'd suggest is to maybe all out the names louder. Attending a wedding in the area brought us to this newer Starbucks drive-thru in a nice area of Valencia. Possibly the closest Starbucks to Magic Mountain, it is convenient to many of the local hotels and got our order right. I ordered two small coffees..one with three stevia and watched as he tore open all three packets and as he tossed the packets into the can a large amount of stevia spilled out and went into the can with the packets. when I asked for more you'd think he was the one who pays for them! This location is so nice!! They have one of the best seating areas that I've seen in a Starbucks lately. But, I was most impressed when I saw their display of the California themed merchandise. We needed to refuel on caffeine, so we stopped by here after dinner. To our delight, this place had a drive thru. It took us a short amount of time to get our order, and it was done well. I don't like leaving Starbucks a bad review since I frequent different locations often but this has to be the slowest Starbucks ever! It seems other yelpers agree. This location is right off the 5 freeway and up the road from Magic Mountain, a prime location for a lot of traffic. But that doesn't excuse service as slow as molasses! I've been here numerous times and it's never been crowded and whether it's the drive thru or ordering inside the store, the wait seems so much longer than other locations. Maybe the drive thru takes priority, but why have I stayed in the drive thru for over 15 minutes when there are only 4 cars in front of me? Maybe the mobile orders take priority? I'm not sure but I've always waited for my drink for a long period of time that other Starbucks don't necessitate. So if you're in a rush, you might go to another location down the street. read more

I absolutely adore this location and everyone who works here! I am a total lazy drive through and coffee feign, but either when using the drive thru, which BTW they ALWAYS keep moving quickly, (AND it's a busy store right off the freeway), or when going inside, it's always been an amazing experience. I order a bit of an "extra" drink but they're always so sweet and accommodating not making me feel rushed or badly! If something ever wasn't made right (honestly they are on point accuracy wise too!) they immediately have remade my drink and have been SO kind to me over the years. I drive out of my way to visit this location because of the customer service, quality of the coffee (and it is made correctly here, you can tell they are true baristas who love what they do. I feel totally accepted here and I love having a quick conversation up at the window with either someone I know or a new face, it's always a pleasure! After today's visit, I had to give a shout out! This Starbucks, located just East of the 5 off the Magic Mountain Parkway exit, makes a very convenient road trip pit stop if you know what you're doing. The trick is to take the exit East, then take the second right onto Wayne Mills Place, NOT take the first right on Tourney - yes, I got myself majorly lost the first time I tried it. The baristas are friendly and the restrooms are clean. There is a nice little corner with six comfy upholstered chairs just to the left as you walk in that is a great place to hang out with friends while you enjoy your yummy expresso beverages. There are also plenty of tables on which you can rest a book or a laptop. I am usually grabbing drinks to go and stretching my legs in the middle of long road trips so I rarely take advantage of either. I've never been here during the early morning rush so I've never seen much of a line. Currently, my Starbucks beverage of choice is either a hot venti skinny cinnamon dolce latte or a cold venti iced peach green tea and this Starbucks can make either to perfection. I end up ordering the strawberry refresher and then wait about 5 minutes in the drive thru for my drink to find out they are out of the dried strawberries as well. I also asked for light ice with my drink, and when I got it, it was completely full of ice. I then tell them I want the mango dragon fruit refresher and not the strawberry one.
