After a long drive recovering from our spring break cruise... we decided to stop at the closest Starbucks off of the 15. My daughter had to urgently use the restroom and I kindly asked for the bathroom code. Chloe the clerk proceeded to ask me "are you going to buy something"? I replied if that's what it takes for me to use the restroom then whatever what's the code? Mind you I was going to buy coffee and snacks anyways. She then states oh you need to "Buy Now" I gave her a look and pointed at my daughter and said she needs to use the bathroom Now.... I have never in my 20 years of using Starbucks have been asked to buy something before using the restroom, let alone buy anything. Management here needs to better train their staff in customer service. I will not be stopping here in the future for my Starbucks fix. read more

The service here is very slow. Literally waited 25minutes for an online order on the app. The most appalling part of this experience was the fact that we asked about our order after waiting 10 minutes. The reply was there's a 15 minute lag in receiving online orders. We still waited an additional 15 minutes. There was no attempt to soften the blow or remedy the situation. Such poor customer service is probably why everyone goes to the Dutch Bros, which is only a half a block away. read more

This specific location has the sweetest baristas whether it's morning or night the team is so kind with positive energy. Service was horrible. We walk in and already the employee at cash register was rude to the customers there waiting for their order. We waited over 30 minutes to get our mobile order drink that was ordered 7 minutes before arriving to the store. While waiting all I see are employees talking to each other over their headsets, giggling and talking about previous customer. After constant looks over at us I can tell they were wondering why we were waiting but never addressed us, our drink said it was ready on screen but it wasn't. they went on gossiping and I asked about drink they were like "oh yeah, that's actually my next one"...and whispered over their headsets. if you forgot about my drink or are busy that's cool just say "hey i'm so sorry, i'll get that right out or i apologize i have few ahead of yours". Usually not the one to leave bad reviews, felt like i was being yelled at by her saying "mobile order? Do you have a mobile order?" Someone else actually noted that this location doesn't read the tickets or perhaps just don't follow them. Unfortunately, I have to agree. I asked for light ice but my drink was more than half filled with ice. I'm a slow drinker and often end up with a watery drink when there's too much ice. Other than that the drink was made well, it was ready when I arrived as I ordered through the app and the staff was polite. I will be revisiting this location because it's the closest to my new office. I hate having food items remade so I avoid asking whenever possible. However, if it happens again I will have to speak up because I can't keep paying for something I'm not happy with. read more

My main complaint? This is my main go to sit-down cafe and they only play Taylor Swift music...and I don't have earphones. Wish they would mix it up a bit as it overwhelms the ambiance. Other than that, pretty decent location. I make the long drive out here when I really need to focus and have a good place to chill and study. (But might need to find a place where the music is less distracting.) The drinks and staff are as nice as can be at a busy location that is primarily a drive-thru. This location had a cozy coffee shop ambiance perfect for one on one conversations. Not anymore after the remodel. It would be very difficult to have intimate conversations with this set up. Its been 3 separate times on different days of the week were I stop at this Starbucks on the way to the 15 fwy and Google maps claims to be open but when I get there, it is still closed 10 minutes after opening time. Just a bad starbucks never come back. Everytime I come in to this one always something wrong with my drink.

I am the first to admit that I am not much of a Starbucks person. As a matter of fact, I am not much of a coffee person, but when you have to drive your niece to a 6hr job training and you still have two papers to type and an exam to study for, finding a place close by that allow me to study (and has free wi-fi) is essential. Considering Starbucks, in general, has become that particular type of place to go, I decided to go to this location (which is thankfully a parking lot away from my niece's job training location). Located on a busy street of Bear Valley Road, across the street from a stripper joint next to a check cashing place, all generalizations of the inner-city 'hood came to mind, and I grew up in one of those inner-city 'hoods. Upon entering this particular location, you forget that there's a stripper joint across the street and enjoy the spacious ambiance of this location. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a welcoming "Good morning!" I don't know if this is common with this location, but at most locations, I am greeted with the typical, "Welcome to Starbucks!" So a common "G'morning" greeting was a nice change. This place is spacious, quite huge, with seating for those small studying groups or the individuals like myself who sit in the corner and silently Yelp. The music is not obnoxiously loud, the baristas are not obnoxiously loud, and they are not annoyingly giddy either. They seem to genuinely enjoy their job! The drinks, well, are still Starbucks made. I ordered a Soy Peppermint Mocha (a specialty during the Christmas season). I 4 star this place on ambiance, service, and location. I don't understand how it's that hard to read a ticket. I went To this location today and I had to ask them to remake my drink because they didn't use the right expresso I wanted it. And you can definitely tell the difference between blonde and the regular. They did the same thing last week as well. All I order is blonde expresso and half an half iced. No flavor no sugar. So I can tell if they use regular ecpresso because it's gross. I just don't understand why they don't follow what the ticket says. It clearly says blonde!!! Why is it not important to make what the customer asks and pays for. And they take forever here. So if you can go to a different location I would. This one is horrible!! read more
