This Starbucks has been the best thus far. I've gone to plenty on the island however this is the only one that gets my drinks right and makes them tasty!!!! Thank you all for how hard you work and your friendly service always!!!!

This has been one of the best Starbucks experiences I've had. The store is incredibly clean/ organized, the staff are all so welcoming, the hours are outstanding and the kindness wall makes my heart happy!! Incredible store--- so grateful it was the main one for me while staying in Waiane. I'll be back for sure. Mahalo and Aloha!

Truthfully I'm not much of a coffee person only when need to. Of course during my visits to the Starbucks in Waianae I always tend to order hot chocolate. Looking at the display case and I notice that there are other items I can order. Butter croissant and blueberry yogurt muffin should satisfy my hunger after working graveyard shift at a 24 hour convenience store. Each visit to Starbucks is a experience of its own. Being helped by different baristas. One male barista who likes to use the register as a drum...I observed him making drinks for other customers as well as cleaning the outside store windows. Another male barista coming to work in that "I just got up and forgot to comb my hair" look....I observed him being friendly to the customers, wiping down the tables, as well as making sure that the sugar, creamers, napkins, and wooden stirrers are filled. The female baristas are always friendly and they work as a team. In fact just this morning March 18, 2015 I noticed that one of the female employees was on top of a ladder getting ready to change a light bulb when another female employee holds that ladder to make sure that it is stable. Customers of Starbucks either mind their own business or tend to greet other customers that they know. I seen a few of my customers of the 24 hour convenience store while I was enjoying my light breakfast at Starbucks. I even seen one of my high school classmates getting her drink before she headed off to work. I witnessed a few customers set up their laptop computer to make use of the free wi-fi. One customer even bought his cordless phone (not a cellphone) to use while sitting at the table. I'm deducting one star because of the restroom facility. it's understandable that a customer needs a code to access the restroom. What I don't get is that whoever used the restroom last forgot to flush the toilet. Don't know if it was a customer or employee....but if you going to do a #2 then please flush the toilet before you leave the restroom facility...it's just disgusting. Other than that....the restroom was very clean. There was soap and paper towel provided for the customer use. Overall my experience at Starbucks was above average. It would be better if the baristas check up on the restroom facility after each customer uses it. Make sure that there's no surprise waiting in the toilet.

First Starbucks I've ever been to that the power outlets are ALL covered

Friendly greeting and welcoming vibes upon entrance into…read morethe store. I miss coming to this spot with family to get plate lunches when we lived down in waianae, but since we haven't been to this location in a while we finally made the attempt yesterday from Kapolei to come down to Maili. I'm happy we did because the pastele plates we got was 1/1 mild and spicy with Mac salad and 2 scoop rice. The meat was tender and savory giving you the correct amount of flavor with seasoning and balance. You can tell they put the heart into making these. Although there are many variations to Pasteles this one is my favorite. The Mac salad is good also better than other places I've tried. The opihi I also brought and added my own sauce to it with and enjoyed it with their Hawaiian Style (Inamona) poke on the side. My only recommendation is the panadeja was more of a pulled pork look and of course that's what it is but I was looking for more of a stew consistency of which it was not. Now don't get me wrong the flavor wasn't lacking and was juicy but it was just shredded pork inside and you can see couple of black olives that's it. I will still purchase them but a slight upgrade would be nice to those, just my opinion.

A very small unassuming market across the beach park right after the swapmeet lot....once you see…read morethe parks bathroom hut slow down or you will pass it. Its a two story green building right off the highway. There is 6 or 7 parking spaces in front and a few on thr side of thebuilding. The entrance is in the middle of the building. The staff is super cool. Cory (pic) was super friendly and welcomed us with a smile The insides is of an old school general store setting but the main seller here is their food. A lot of varietyon the menu (pic) we went with the chicken wings (good) lau lau (ok) shoyu chicken (phenomenal) I am sure they sell out for sure!!! and the empanadas(soo good!!) They probably sell out of this too. Portions was fair and prices reasonable. (Nothing is cheap anymore) Its a place I always drove by and wondered about but now next time I am in the area will be stopping by here for sure!! A hidden jem in plain sight
