Went there to pick up a mobile delivery order . I walked up to the side of the counter with the sign hanging above saying mobile pickup . I stood there for about 5 minutes and not a single one of the five or six employees working behind the counter made eye contact with or acknowledged me at all . They continued to take and fill orders of customers that had arrived after me . After 5 minutes of standing there being ignored finally asked if this is where I can pick up the order. A girl behind the counter pointed to the other side amd said thats where we do pick ups. I pointed to the sign above my head that indicated mobile order pick ups and she had no response. And then explain to her that it was unprofessional to let me stand there for 5 minutes well none of them made eye contact with me or acknowledged my existence and let me stand there under the mobile pick up order sign and none of them bothered to tell me mobile pickups were on the other side . As a retail manager myself who runs an operation much larger than this I can honestly say that that type of customer service was severely lacking . These kids really need to be trained better . Oh and maybe put your mobile order sign in the place that you're actually supposed to pick up mobile orders . read more

I know that Starbucks is a chain, but there's something to be said about those locations that just stand out! As someone who has been a barista at a local coffee shop, when I encounter a Starbucks location that can match that feel I'm genuinely impressed!! The food and drinks are not only made to standard but are insanely yummy and on par with those I've had at my favorite locations! I didn't see a single customer who wasn't greeted on their way in or told to have a nice day on their way out. My food and drinks came out fast, and it was a pleasure to sit and enjoy both inside the cafe. I feel badly for this store's bad Yelp reviews. I went this morning and had a very pleasant experience. In fact, I noticed the manager wiping tables down and organizing things and I took a minute to tell her what a great job she's doing with this location. It was immaculate! She was very appreciative that I commented. I also noticed that she greeted everyone who walked in the door. Service for my bagel and breakfast sandwich was slow, but her attitude and hard work made it so that I didn't even care. The young people working there also seemed to be quite busy. The last time I'd been there, I went through the drive through and the girl on the speaker was extremely friendly and polite. Keep it up, Walpole! read more

I recently jumped on board the Starbucks train after receiving a couple gift cards for Christmas. I've been pre-ordering and picking up in the store to avoid any waiting. Today, they had messed up my order when I went to pick up. I brought it back inside and pointed it out, they immediately fixed my order and let me keep the one that they had messed up. They also gave me a $4 card to make up for their mistake and my wait time. I thought the way the handled this was so professional and it really made my morning. Thanks Walpole Starbucks!! Didn't expect too much in terms of service from a starbucks, but still manage to fall way below expectations. Well, it's mostly one person that brings down the entire team. Short ginger with curly hair that works the cashier. She can't even wear her hat straight. She looks like she really really doesn't want to be there. No smiles, no greetings, don't look at the customers, talks to the screen when she asks for what you want and no thank yous. I can find a 10 year old with more manners than her. Short like in front of me (5 people) and she doesn't smile at any of them. Well, except for the one elderly couple that seem to be regulars. At everyone else she has this "don't bother me" face. The dude in front of me goes up to order. She never looks up from the screen and asks "what would you like". Is she talking to the POS, to a drive thru customer via headset or to herself? She doesn't look up until after he pays and walks off. I go up, and she just glances at me and eyes are back on the screen. Says nothing. I order, I scan my phone to pay. She doesn't say anything. Did it go thru? Am I all set? Nope, just looks at the screen the entire time. Starbucks really needs to evaluate their employees, because she definitely did not get any training. While I enjoying my drink at the lounge, I notice another cashier that took over. She, on the other hand, was friendly, all smiles and greeted the customer. This place is so much better than the Norwood location... Nothing worse than going there! I do find that on certain days it can take a while to get my order, but I'm usually just a black coffee drinker so it's not a huge worry. Weekend staff always looks really unhappy, and I always feel rushed when I go on a Saturday. However the ladies that work mornings on Monday-Friday are so friendly! I haven't experienced such a horrific service in years. It truly does pain me to give a bad review but what happened at this Starbucks truly appalled me. When I walked in, everything seemed clean and tidy so there was really nothing to complain about. The person who made me my beverage was a boy named Bobby, as said so on his name tag, and I understand that times are rough right now so I might not get the nicest service but this was inexcusable in my opinion. When I asked for a Grande Salted Caramel Mocha Frappucino, what I saw with my own two eyes was unbelievable. I asked for 2 pumps of the Frappuccino Roast but instead he had given me 4 pumps and when I asked to remake it, he rolled his eyes at me and begrudgingly made it again. Only this time, he gave me a Tall instead of a Grande! Not to mention, this time he didn't even use 2 pumps of Mocha sauce and thought I wouldn't notice. Before putting on the finishing drizzle, he quickly checked his phone to do whatever before drizzling the syrup and getting it all over the sides of the cup. The lid he used to put on the coffee cup was also a used one as far as I could tell, it was haphazardly lying next to one of the machines and you could tell it wasn't brand new. When I complained to him that this was even worse than his last attempt, he rolled his eyes again and gave the person behind me on line a smile and asked them "What would you like today?" I love the idea of a healthier drive-thru and Starbucks is one of the first ones in MA. I was really impressed with the quality of offerings and pleasantly surprised of the not so high prices! I liked this one although it was a bit confusing getting to it but if you drive slow and pay attention, you will find your way. The only suggestion I would have for management is to place the menu boards closer or make them bigger. I had hard time seeing them, with a sun in my face too... And brag more about your products! I never used to go to Starbucks very often, but now am going more frequently due to the number of locations in the area that have drive thru's, and due to the fact that I realized how GREAT everything is from Starbucks (superior to Dunkins in lots of ways...). The Walpole location is located on Route 1, at the Route 27 intersection in Walpole, in a freestanding space in the Big Y Plaza. I do wish the developed this Starbucks a bit differently as the parking lot is a bit clustered and the entrances and exits and all messed up. However, service, food, and cleanliness is all higher than my standard (all three of the Starbucks I've visited recently have all been like this...), so it still gets 4 stars. The main issue is that getting to this cafe is tedious from Route 1 (going either way), and still difficult from High Plain Street. There is one official entrance that can only be used by Route 27 south drivers, the rest from Route 1 and Route 27 North must use the plaza entrance and go around in a weird way. The drive thru gets busy and then clusters into the parking lot, and well, what I'm really trying to say is that it can become a mess if you haven't used the lot and know how to get in and out. Anywho, staff here are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and it has outdoor seating (like more and more of the Starbucks I have seen). Food is always made correctly and drinks are even better. Great experience at Starbucks, the bad experience comes when you're parking. If you have time, and want a full amazing Starbucks experience (with decent access points and parking) the Norwood Starbucks is right down the road...... 4 stars. read more

This Walpole Starbucks is my go-to everytime I head to work at the Gillette Stadium. It is situated in the Big Y plaza off of Route 1 with a convenient drive-thru. Sometimes it is a challenge to get around this location if there are a lot of cars, but with a little patience and driving skill it is not difficult to get in and out of this parking lot. 90% of the time I use their drive-thru window, and they have a 95% accuracy. The staff is very friendly and get your orders correct most of the time. The few times they got my orders wrong was when they gave me a hot coffee instead of an iced one, and I am in too much of a hurry to get it re-made. read more

Worst Starbucks you will ever go to. Service is slow and rude. Even when I place a mobile order 10 minutes ahead of time I'm usually stuck waiting for 15 minutes once I get there even when there is no line or I'm the only one there. You can tell they have very bad management. They always have someone designated to clean and they don't teach them costumer service. For example if you walk in and you only see one worker who is cleaning they will ignore and continue cleaning, this has happened numerous times. I can't even go to Starbucks before work now because they take too long and I'll be late. read more

Updating my review to report that I've now been inside this Starbucks, and it's no better than the drive-thru. They still make drinks incorrectly, and if you order through the app, they don't put out the drinks for you, so you have to wait for someone to acknowledge you which is damn near impossible. I heard there's a Starbucks opening up in Mansfield soon so I'll be able to avoid this one permanently. read more
