Latte With Vegan Banana Oat Bar And Vegan Scone
    Steve A.

Cool hipster place for getting coffee in Bannockburn. It's not quite the same college atmosphere as the original Evanston location, but it's still good for reading, studying, or pretending to do something. Newport has coffee of course, but there's also lots of greats pastries and treats. Has some of these that are non dairy. The inside isn't too loud like some coffee places. Breakfast and in the morning are the busiest times here. It's of course when people most want to get coffee, but even then there's usually enough tables available inside. There's quite a few of the smaller tables plus some of the larger ones good for groups and meetings. Clean friendly atmosphere. Light colors all over the place such as white. As for the coffee, it's good stuff as far as from what I've had. It's about $4 for a latte. There's several non dairy milks available such as oat. Also there's some good things such as muffins and pastries to eat. It's about $3 for cookies and treats. Has a few vegan ones to get. Last time I got a Vegan Banana Oat Bar and a Vegan Scone, and these were like the real things. Good stuff in the scone with lots of berries and fruit. There was blackberries, blueberries, coconut, cranberries, and raisins. Good place for getting coffee. It's also a place to munch on some healthier oat bars and such. There's plentiful options among both the coffee and treats for vegans and vegetarians.

    Date Cardamom Latte

The date cardamom latte, I asked for oat milk, was redolent of spice, with a cute heart in the foam. The croissant was soft, rather than flaky, but I'm not complaining because there wasn't a crumb left to be had. Solid offerings, friendly staff, efficient service.

Coffee was delicious, I hope it was a little bit more hot but overall it was rich and flavorful, not so much milk which is a plus. Owner was nice and polite and the place was clean.

Well, crafted signature, lattes, and some tasty bakery items. Not too busy atmosphere, very comfortable and relaxed

Like to try coffee from coffee cafes! The coffee was hot and fresh! My daughter had a Carmel latte that she said was delicious! I want disappointed in my coffee ! It was full flavoured! They had outside seating although I took mine on the run! They had yummy looking bakery one being quiche that I would try in the future! Enjoyable very cute Polite Barrista

This is my first time here at this location. I've been to the one in Evanston and didn't realize they had another location farther north. My brother in law wanted the kossa geshe pour over and my sister wanted the Coco Brew. I also grabbed one as well because in my experience, their cold brews are very tasty and smooth. I really liked my Coco Brew and will definitely get it again. I would like to try one of their lattes next time as well. My brother in law loved his pour over. The staff was very nice and friendly. I'll definitely visit again!

    Oat milk cappuccino

The owner is absolutely a perfectionist to the nth degree but also very, very friendly. He was welcoming and greeted the folks he knew by name. He was not thrilled with how the barista made my coffee and had him remake it (I was fine with it). The finished product was an awesomely beautiful and delicious oat milk cappuccino. We came here frequently, at the insistence of my husband, when it was previously owned by someone else; I hadn't cared for it much. Now the coffee is better, new dishes are a clean white with their logo in black, and the display cases of eats are nicer. As you can see from my 5 star review, I have no complaints. If I were to make a suggestion, not that anyone asked me, I'd add a little warmth to the decor- it's very stark. Another plus is the plentiful parking.

Here's the roasters and bag of beans.
    Craig K.

Small places that roaster their own coffee beans are getting squeezed during the pandemic and it's really hard for people to realize that the value of this is so much better than like a Dunkin' Donuts or a Starbucks. Newport Coffe house brings a flavor that she's most places do not have . They roast their beans on site. The barista pays attention to detail and is like an artist. She happily listens to how you want your cappuccino or latte and goes out of her way to make it perfect! The blueberry muffins are moist and tasty. There's WiFi and indoor and outdoor seating at social distancing space. The ceramic cups are Covid safe. It's great to have a ceramic cup to enjoy the delicious blend of flavors. I have to travel 20 minutes to get here but it's a fabulous retreat from the stress of life!

I love the taste of their espresso, it's really rich and I love their boston latte (with almond milk).

Today Is new years eve and I was nearby on errands when I saw people inside finally! Yes, it's coffee time. First of all, this place is an oasis. Way too cute and perfect to be connected to the grime and cold of the metra station. If your waiting for a train, do yourself a favor and come in here! Better smells, better temperature, better people. Find me waiting for my trains in here whenever they're open. The professionalism here is on full display, you can tell from the obvious thought in the decor, the look of the coffee machines being used, and the excellent and friendly service. I just had a quick mocha today, I needed to warm up and this drink improved my mood right away. Made in front of me (before paying... that's respect) by a sweet lady who also hooked me up with a punch card, it was very nice. Not overly rich from the chocolate and just the right temperature. I see they make they're own pastries and have some fancy cold options for summer! I can't wait to come back and try more. I'll definitely be filling up that punch card in the coming months!
