    Smiley cookie

Always enjoy coming here. Today I had a bowl of cream of chicken with rice, a smiley cookie and iced caramel macchiato. It was a beautiful morning, so we sat outside. They have tables inside and outside. The service was good and everything tasted delicious.

The awesome muffin display, and they are fabulous!!

Love this place! Something Brewing in Grayslake has such a great vibe -- warm, cozy, and always welcoming. The staff are friendly, the coffee is amazing, and it just feels good to be here. The muffin tops are absolutely to die for -- soft, sweet, and perfectly baked. And oh my God, the Pumpkin Spice Latte! Creamy, perfectly spiced, and easily the best I've ever had. If you're anywhere near Grayslake, don't miss this spot. Something Brewing is a local gem!

Quite possibly the best coffee shop in the area and one of my favorites when visiting downtown Grayslake. Every square inch of Something's Brewing is covered by candy, baked goods, coffee & tea, pastries & muffins of every imaginable ingredient. Their drip coffee is the only thing that is a slight miss; it's a medium to dark roast, which can be bitter and over-roasted. That's not discrediting enough to remove a star or not order it, but I wish they offered multiple roasts. There are unbelievable variations of mixed coffees and teas on their large menu -- visually the most complex I've ever seen. During my visits, the service has been pleasant but a bit rushed, and the seating area is crowded. This place is popular, and I enjoy coming here.

This little coffee shop/cafe is larger than I expected when I arrived. I also didn't realize they sold prepared foods--I thought it was simply a coffee place with maybe some pastries. They did have the coffee and a nice selection of pastries, but also smoothies, cakes and sweets, and food items for breakfast and probably lunch. Their menu is huge and super crowded--a little difficult to read. I was almost overstimulated when I was here just because there's so much stuff and so many food and beverage choices. I landed on a chocolate covered strawberry latte and a caramel apple cider (I think for that second one that's not what it was called, but is essentially what it was). Both were good (so I'm told about the latte since I don't drink them); I've never seen something like the chocolate covered latte on a menu so that was an interesting find. In addition to the coffee I picked up a cheese danish and cinnamon bun. The danish was for me and it was huge. I don't know if it was made differently than other danishes?... it was several inches tall and I've never seen that before. It wasn't bad but it was too big for me. This shop seems to have tables inside and also plenty of tables outside too. Parking is available on the street.

I have had egg doshes and pastries from Sonething's Brewing. Everything was very good, amole portions and full of flavor. It's a great place to dine in or sip a coffee outdoors on the terrace.

Absolute best muffins I've ever had in my life. I love that there is an area to sit inside and outside. It's cute. The menu is insane. Lots of breakfast and lunch options too. This place is the heartbeat of downtown Grayslake. Also, gluten-free items available!

Came here for lunch around 1 on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy and we got our food and coffee pretty quickly. We were also able to find a small table by the window. There's a changing table in the bathroom and you can ask for a high chair. Cold brew was very smooth and tasty. Turkey guac bread - very flavorful and super saucy. The bread is also fluffy and flavorful Reuben - crunchy and decadent. The meat, thousand island and sauerkraut was the perfect ratio

    The Chyna Wrap is delicious!

I love Somethings Brewing! I've been here many times over the years, and I enjoy everything I get here. But today was especially enjoyable because I ate for free with a gift card I received last week for my birthday. Thanks Tom! Today I had the Chyna Wrap (grilled chicken, veggies, and chow mien noodles, drenched in their delicious "sweet heat peanut sauce"). It is one my favorite items on the menu. Some of my other favorites include the Albuquerque Turkey Sub, the French Melt Croissant, and the Loco Chicken Labretti. For breakfast you can't go wrong with any of their offerings, just be sure to add a side of the Seasoned Tater Babies! Prices are very reasonable, and service is friendly and hard-working.

Maui Latte And Veggin On The Border

Chill coffee shop located in downtown Grayslake that's good in the morning, or whenever you can come in. It has a pretty big menu to choose from, including bagels and other types of sandwiches. Something's Brewing has a couple of locations, with this downtown one being the best of these. Find the typical items you will in this kind of cafe. There's coffee and bagels of course, but you can make a meal for breakfast or at lunch. A pretty cramped coffee shop from the looks of things inside. It also functions as a gift shop. There's lots of cool stuff to get someone for whenever. It's about $4 for a medium coffee. The best one that I've had so far is the Maui Latte. Has a Hawaiian theme of course. This is almond and coconut milk with pineapple, toasted coconut, and whipped cream but I leave this off. Also there's food. It's about $9 for a sandwich. Has a few vegetarian choices. Veggin On The Border has cheddar cheese and sour cream which I leave off, guacamole, hummus, onions, rice, romaine, salsa, and tomatoes. Filling for lunch. There's also lots of handmade sweet treats. Get some breakfast and get some gifts. It's a great local business that's good in the morning or at lunch. There's bagels, sandwiches, and whatever.

This shop is located in downtown Grayslake. I absolutely love the late hours! It's typically open until about 8:30pm! You really can't find coffee shops open that late. It's so nice to be able to sit down and enjoy a drink and a dessert pastry! They have a huge variety of pastries!! Super yummy muffins! My favorite drink is their Caramelicious Iced Latte!! It is super sweet and basically comparable to drinking a dessert beverage, but I am in love with it. It's the perfect sweet treat! They have a large variety of drinks. I wasn't a huge fan of their hot mocha latte, but their iced Mocha was tasty!! A cozy corner coffee shop, like stepping into something you'd see in a cute movie!

Things have finally calmed down here so it was a good chance to try it out. The line was pretty quick even though there were at least 3 cars in both lanes in front of me. The order system works like so. Someone walks up with a pad and takes your order, you pay right there. You pull up a bit farther and someone else brings your order. Easy enough. As for the drinks themselves, I think they're worth it! I had a large Sweet and Salty, a caramel and white chocolate breve. First off, the large was a good size. Not a medium disguised as a large like other spots. It was very tasty! Not as sweet as I would have expected but a great balance of flavor. If you want more sweet (or less) they have options for that. You can customize how strong your drink is, as well as what type of milk you want. You can also add cold foam and get your drink hot or cold. Good customization options here. Price was on point with similar places, maybe slightly more, but I felt like the value was there. I'll definitely be back to try some other drinks, I'm excited to try some frozen ones when the temperature turns.

When I realized what happened, I noticed an associate taking what appeared to be a phone break and having a drink. I politely asked if she could take my order since I had been missed. Her response was, "No big deal, they did miss you," which felt dismissive and unprofessional. What made the situation more frustrating is that I had seen her look toward my car multiple times before stepping away. Throughout the interaction, her demeanor came across as rude and uninterested in helping. I ordered a large smoothie but was given a medium, and she never asked for my phone number for rewards or account information. The line was shorter than usual, so I expected a quicker and more pleasant experience. Instead, I was met with poor customer service and a lack of attention to detail. Unfortunately, this visit left a disappointing impression.

After looking over the menu, I decided on the Ube Matcha and my mom chose the Banana Rum Caramel Latte! Both drinks were a 10/10!!! My drink had an Ube horchata base, which tasted like the perfect mix of vanilla and cinnamon. It was absolutely amazing and paired perfectly with the matcha!!! My mom thoroughly enjoyed her latte as well! Next time I'm in town, Drip and Culture will be my first stop. Came on a Thursday after lunch and it wasn't too busy. Ordered the Tocilog - which is sweet pork with a side of garlic fried rice, and an egg cooked any way you like. Also came with a side of noodles (pancit). Since I was here, decided to order some calamansi wings to go. And of course an ube milk tea. I really enjoyed my meal. The Tocino was a little different from what I'm used to. I'm used to a slab of pork pan fried with the fat fried to a slight crunch lol. I'm also used to tocino being red in color. I guess the tocino here is a little more leaner and no artificial colors - which works for me as I'm kinda allergic to red dye. But it tasted good, very flavorful. Loved the garlic rice as well. Pancit noodles were okay - could have used a little more seasoning but I could dig it Calamansi wings were low key fire. The crisp of the wings were perfection and the meat was not tough - still nice and juicy. I would get these again. They did have other flavors available that I need to come and try as well such as adobo and salt & pepper. Servers were nice and food came out pretty fast.
