What a great coffee establishment!!! The employee was courteous and really generous to provide his service to us. We ordered an Iced Americano with a Single Shot, 4 Pumps of Raspberry and Whipped Cream, an Iced Vanilla Latte and a Small Vanilla Caramel Avalanche. All 3 of our drinks were right on point, full of deliciousness and perfect amount of sweetness for our drinking pleasure! He even gave our baby a small cup of whipped cream with caramel drizzle. Love this place! Very good drinks and affordable. My go to is the Vanilla Caramel Chiller because it's absolutely delicious. Love that the leftovers get poured into a little cup as well, so you're actually getting all that you've paid for. The drinks are pretty sweet but you could always ask for less pumps to make it less sweet This location is pretty small so not much room to sit, that's the only downfall. read more

We visit the mall several times a week however the last couple of time the woman behind the counter my guess she is in charge has been extremely rude and the last time December 10 she was as bad as it gets. I was in the mall and decided that I wanted to try something completely different from my usual Starbucks but yet something that still makes my go to drinks. I try to be healthier and stay away from daily coffee so I wanted to try their tea. Upon coming in the girls seemed distracted with their own thoughts and weren't as eager to help me find something. I decided to go for my usual peach green tea and of course she had to charge an extra .50 cents for one little squirt of peach in there as I don't like a lot of it anyway. The green tea tasted like old fish and the syrup tasted very artificial so not like what I'm used to at Starbucks. I told her I really disliked my beverage and had to ask myself if she can remake it but try with their already pre made black tea. That was much better but the actual peach flavor tasted again very artificial and not made with real peaches. So overall I don't think I would come here again, it's not cheap even though it should be as they are not a Starbucks nor are they an amazing local moms and pops kind of shop. The iced coffee maybe better and the frapuccinos people were ordering seemed to look better and maybe are tastier so I would stick to coffee only here. Sorry, but I'm not sorry that I probably won't be back. They only get 3 stars because she did redo my drink. read more

I came to Gloria Jean's on Black Friday because it was early in the morning, and I wanted coffee. I have recently begun to drink my coffee black, and it was very good! My 13 year old daughter was with me and was thrilled to see macaroons. So I bought her 4 (the coffee was free as part of a promotion with the mall- I received a drink tumbler with an invitation to have a free cup of coffee from Gloria Jean's among coupon offers from other participating stores). We bought a Smart Water too, and the bill was a little over $6. Considering what we spend at other coffee shops, I didn't think the cost was out of line. And I don't see macaroons at those other places. Both of us left happy and we will be back!!! read more

Coffe was ok but the worst cheesecake I've ever eaten. Could not eat more than one bite. This place should just stick to selling coffee.

There's no Starbucks inside Hawthorn Mall, so this will have to do if you are into chain coffee shops. During my last visit to the mall, I wanted a latte, but almost blew past this place since the only employee inside was busy on her phone. I didn't want to disturb her for just a plain latte but then saw the sign for pistachio latte and thought, what the heck. I regretted ordering it almost immediately. I had forgotten from the few times that I had been in before that most flavorings were powder based and come out of a little plastic drawer. Whipped cream is Reddi Whip. My drink was super sweet and I could not taste any pistachio. It was green, though. Just disappointing for a small drink that is almost $5. read more

God I love this store. the manager, Gus, is a great guy. Makes every drink amazing. I love the white chocolate caramel cookie chiller. Favorite drink I get it every morning. This is a great place to buy drinks. The Owner is super nice and friendly. The employees and owner work super hard, they have amazing work ethic. This one employee, Rafii, is really nice and cracks a lot of jokes. He's always motivated to be at work with a positive attitude. This shop is a good environment and treats you with respect. As a paying customer you would expect to be respected as one. I was in the cafe premises with my paid coffee and my child was 5 feet away from me. Apparently they have a policy where your child needs to be with you the whole time. The store has like 3-4 tables, i was the only one sitting there so if there was an issue with my child i think the employees would let me know so i can atleast address it. The employee (without saying anything to me) called management/security for "child neglect". My child was by the corner not crying or playing. She stayed on the corner because she wanted chips and i didnt let her have one. The employee never spoke to me after handing me my coffee- calls security immediately??? What kind of policy is this? Then security kicks us out making my child cry in the process. If you are denying this, hopefully corporate can get copies of the security cameras and prove my claim otherwise. read more

Gloria Jean's has my favorite chilled drink in the world, a cookies and cream chiller. I've never been to this location before so when I saw it I got super excited. But when I went to order, the man who was taking my drink order seemed not to understand what I was saying. I didn't really care though as long as he made my drink right. However when I got my drink it wasn't anything like the cookies and cream chillers I've had before. It was super caramel filled and tasted like sugar drenched in milk. I went back up to the counter and there was a girl at the register now and asked her if that's how it's usually made since I've never had it taste like that before. She gave me a dumb look and just stated that it always has caramel in it, offering me no solutions or anything, and without a smile. Now I've worked in a coffee shop and as much as it sucks to have customers come back and want something fixed or something different, it happens. And I was very nice with what I said but again, she didn't offer to fix my drink or even ask if I wanted to order something different. 0/5 experience. read more
