Every time I go through the drive thru, I expect it to be more convenient and fast than getting out of my car. This location proves this to be untrue. I sit in this drive thru for a considerable longer amount of time than any other Starbucks location nearby. The service is mediocre at best. I get the kind of vibe these workers are here just to make their 14.50 an hour, and could give a crap less about how their tone or facial expression reads to customers. If you want fast and decent customer service, take an extra three minutes to drive up to the location on Grandview and Silvernail. read more

For Waukesha there are several coffee shops in the area. All are unique and have there own charm. This happens to be the only one where it is along the way to my freeway access (not too far out of the way) or to places I go to for some reason which makes it the ideal place to stop for my caffeine fix. Plus I do like the Starbucks app and use it to place my order ahead of time. Not The biggest store or the most seating but they do have outdoor seating which is a plus. Nice barista every time. Plenty of parking but since they share parking lot with many other stores, spots can be limited. Again, these are my opinions and take them for what it's worth. Well here are a few reasons not in any particular order: 1) it's right off 43 so it's convenient 2) it has a nice outdoor seating area for spring summer and fall 3) it has a heater above the door that turns on when the door is opened so it's never Arctic at the tables every time someone enters 4) staff are nice and friendly. To my Vegan friends: This store is NOT Vegan informed (or friendly). When I asked whether there were any Vegan friendly items (in their baked goods), the individual behind the counter stared absently at me from under his poorly dyed punk cut, sniffed and said "If it is or isn't it will say so on the packaging." What the ? The items in the small, day-old looking bakery display have no "packaging". I took what he said as if he said "No sir. Although your business is valuable to us, we are not prepared to deliver any value because we have no Vegan friendly baked items." As I was about to pay for my coffee I saw a "Kind" bar in a counter top display. I held it up, looked him in the eye and said "VEGAN. **Gluten free**". The real shock was that the counter person couldn't identify gluten free items. That could be dangerous if someone with Celiac disease was mis-informed. I'd just get sick. It oculd be much worse for them. The experience wasn't as bad for me as the previous reviewer. Her perspective was likely influenced by her negative experience watching Santa Clause on trial. I got chai tea latte from here. My oh my it was so damn sweet. I wonder if they added corn syrup to tea or tea was added to corn syrup bottle. I even added a small packet of salt to make it less salty but that didn't help. $4.50 gone to waste. Dont ever buy this drink from here. Classic Starbucks but that's ok with me. I know what to expect and I get what I need. Big enough to sit a spell but not as nice as Lake Geneva location. This Starbucks experience was okay when it started but it made me irritated very quickly. I went to the bathroom and find no soap. So I ask several employees saying they are "on it." But here I am waiting 15 minutes and nothing. So another customer asks as well and they say "we are out of soap in the building." 1.) How is that sanitary for the employees making the drinks and food? This is a serious health code violation and the employees did not seem to care. 2.) I go here often to study, the problem is that they always clean up, clean machines, mop and put chairs on tables by 830 when they don't close until 10pm. Like they are trying to push us out the door. I just wished they had a drive thru, but anyways the people behind the counter are friendly. There is always a long line but we still wait for that delicious cup if coffee. They do not have any waiting area for the customers. Once you have placed the order the best spot is to sit on the window on the way to their rest rooms :/ I know it sounds awful but go there one you'll know what I am talking about. This is my beginning of the work day most days and I always look forward to coming to this Starbucks. Never had one bad experience, all the staff are always kind. I am a creature of habit so I tend to order the same coffee most of the time, and it is so neat, the staff knows my voice over the drive through and will ask if I would like "the usual", I love it! I cannot give the location on Moreland in Waukesha a negative star review so I have to give it one star. My friend with a dairy allergy and I ordered some drinks through the drive through. My friend ordered her drink with coconut milk per usual. When we got our drinks my friend asked the worker if her drink was made with coconut milk to ensure her drink was safe for her. The worker assured her she was 90% sure it was made with coconut milk. My friend explained to the worker she would die if she had any dairy and asked the worker to confirm. The worker confirmed the other worker made it with coconut milk. About 20 minutes later I found myself rushing my friend to the ER as she was going into anaphylactic shock. I am now sitting in the hospital with my friend who was administered a dose of emergency epinephrine. She's okay, but this all could have been avoided if the workers actually did their jobs. To the flighty imbecile working the drive through, thanks for almost killing my friend. Maybe it's time to find an more appropriate job for yourself like the person who scrapes the gum off the bottom of baseball field bleachers. read more

The coffee is good, service is friendly, and atmosphere is nice, but I think they need ejection seats for people who take up table space with their computers and sit there all afternoon while regular customers have to go sit in their car. What good is a coffee place if there's no seating? They need to limit computer use to an hour since the place is small to begin with and some of these rude people sprawl out over large tables.
