This is the Starbucks spot! Great option for a pick me up in Linden Square. I got a strawberry açaí lemonade with a chocolate chip cookie, and my girlfriend got a mocha. We came in right before closing and got our food really fast. Amazing quality, service, and a very clean cafe. read more

I KNOW YOU ARE BUSY BUT WHY SO RUDE?! I am working in Wellesley, need to get there by 8:30am every weekday morning, so I placed my Mobile order at 7:45am, and the App says should be ready at 8:06am. However, I arrived at 8:15am, and my drink still not there. The black guy with glasses talked so fast and rush, his attitude was trying to get rid of me as quick as possible, "if your drink is ready, it will be here, so just wait." So I waited until 8:26am, and I kept seeing people who ordered later than me got their drink, so I spoke to the same guy, "I placed the order on the App 45 mins ago." He replied with his poker face, "if you wanna get the refund please go to the counter." Seriously?! Am I paid to be treated like that?! You guys rather refund to me instead, and not decided to make me the drink, to make your customer happy? Thank you Starbucks! What a great customer service! read more

Very mixed experiences lately, compared to universally good ones before about a month ago. I've had bad experiences twice out of the past 2 times here, including one where they gave me regular coffee to fill the rest of my decaf (they ran out) without asking. Fortunately I saw them do I it and confronted them. They were apologetic but I was pretty upset; if I hadn't noticed, they wouldn't have said anything. I have no problem waiting for you to brew more (although the past 3 times they've been out of decaf...), so just ask! It's a lot better than giving me caffeine when I can't have it, and not even asking/telling me. Disappointing, because I come here often and spend a lot of time and money (I study here). Although this location is convenient to park at, I think I'll go to the Central St location (or Peets) for a while. read more

It's a Starbucks. There's the same stuff you get at every Starbucks. But the staff here is really great (Anna, in particular, is staffer who goes above and beyond to get your order right and your experience headed in the right direction). I find it difficult to find a place to sit, which is a pitfall of this location. I love that there's a community board in the back, and that people really use it. The bathroom itself is accessible, but in order to get to it, you have to thread yourself and your assistive device through the eye of a needle made up of tables on one side and the line of customers on the other. Were I able to spend more time here, I would, but the seating situation is not ideal. A solid lead for one of those afternoons when you can't seem to get anything done unless you're sipping hot beverages in someone else's armchair. read more

I love that this location is open very early - 5AM on weekdays, 6AM on weekends. But wow, it's rough going. Usually I come in to do a bit of work, occasionally to chat with someone else. It is so LOUD in here that if it weren't open early or conveniently located, I would avoid it. In particular, one employee by the name of Portia has a habit of relentless yelling, screeching, cackling and singing at really quite an alarming volume. It's so annoying I have no choice but to use noise-cancelling headphones with the volume cranked up. If anywhere else was open and on my way to work, I'd go anywhere else, pretty much because of the music and Portia. It's very distracting when trying to have a conversation or get any work done. And the music they play is way too loud, and often pretty trashy. Also, the crew here struggles to keep the place clean. Otherwise, the employees have been pretty decent to me and I haven't had to wait too long for any orders. read more

Staff is always friendly and efficient. This is a busy location in Wellesley's Linden Square. Always plenty of parking, but be prepared to park closer to the Roche Bros than the Starbucks. Inside, this happens to be one of the few Starbucks in the Northeast that still has a decent amount of comfortable places to sit. I spend most of my paycheck here as well as breakfast & lunch. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are constantly made correctly. I want to give a shout out to OLIVIA who ALWAYS remembers my name as well as 100+ others (not an exaggeration). The other day, I was waiting in line to order and she was getting drinks started for 3 people behind me, she knew every single one of their names including what the regularly have!! It could be the screen singing from one from one of the employees for each drink delivered or in between drink delivery other loud singing and clapping. As far as Starbucks goes, this location is great. !!!!! Stay away on week days from 2 to at least 5pm. This place turns into a middle school. Gangs of small school kids can be loud and obnoxious. This location is just ok. It's always packed and I find that to be a downside because there's never any seating and it's always quite loud. Not the best place to get any work done or chat with a friend. There's a lot of children that come to this location as well so if you're looking for a good coffee place to study or for peace and quiet, this is not your starbucks. Pathetic. Out of the last ten days they have opened on time once. This is the only coffee shop or gas station with posted opening hours of 530 AM on my way to work. Something so simple. I've even showed up before 530 attempted to enter and the three employees saw me attempting to enter. Once I realized it was prior to 530 am I got back into my car and waited till 535 and they still just looked at me without making any indication or gesture of them coming to open the door. This is my favorite Starbucks in Wellesley. The people that work here are great. The hours are great. If you can snag seating, its nice. There is a lack of seating. I wish that they had a better layout although it is better than the Central St. layout. The drinks come fast. It can get overrun by kids frequently so not the best to do work here at certain times. Not the fastest Starbucks... It's disheartening (and annoying) to see employees looking for something to do when there are customers still waiting for drinks. (When I worked as a barista we would step over from the register to the bar if there was a pile up.) There were actually more people behind the counter when I was in just now than there were customers, and an Ice coffee still took about 5 minutes. People may be new, but managers need to teach teamwork - if customers are waiting, that's probably your first priority. read more

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon to do some work before dinner and had a pleasant time. The staff was friendly and efficient. I went at a low traffic time so practically had the place to myself. I can imagine it would be packed at other times and days of the week. There is a pretty fantastic area outside where people can sit and chat in the sun. Several customers took advantage of this and they looked supremely happy. This is very much a community Starbucks; for someone who is from out of town, that's nice to see. The manager knew the teenage boys lounging around. The police officer chatted up the barista like they were old friends. And, the bathrooms are clean. Music wasn't too loud and they played a good mixture of genres. They made my iced coffee to order within five minutes. Pretty much what I needed on this particular Friday afternoon. Coffee is good when they aren't out of it. How does a coffee shop run out of coffee and not start to brew a new batch right away? Multiple times here from 30 mins- 2 hrs before closing and once smack in the middle of the day they're out of hot coffee. The times where it was within an hour of closing you can tell they're just being lazy and don't want to brew a new batch! Some of your baristas here have an attitude too, not that that's shocking being in Wellesley, but smack a smile on your face and do act like your shit doesn't stink because mommy and daddy are rich. read more

This Starbucks is great! I had asked for a double cup, but the manager informed me that I actually got the last cup. As someone who used to in a coffee house, I get how this can happen.
