During the morning and lunchtime rush, I usually order ahead on the app, though sometimes the wait time isn't super accurate. If I order in store, it's usually ready in just a few minutes. There are a few seats inside and a single-person bathroom. When the weather's nice, there's a big lawn with extra seating, plus a few tables right out front. The only reason this Starbucks location can't earn a full five stars is because it can't have a drive-through, which isn't really fair. The location is not conducive to it. It makes up for this by being the sweetest little location in a roundabout of a town square. The Waterfront always decorates the town square for holidays and seasons, and you can have your drink and food sitting at one of the outside tables and enjoy all of that - with your dog if you have one with you, as this whole area is incredibly dog friendly. The drinks and food here are always quickly and perfectly prepared and the staff is friendly and efficient. One of my favorite Starbucks locations. read more

Parking at this location can be a little tight but if you're already in the area they have a little bit of seating inside and then outside the waterfront courtyard area is behind it with lots of outside seating space. We went there today and I can actually say this is the worst Starbucks drink I've ever had in my entire life. First off, we both ordered iced and it came hot. So the barista adjusted this, which I fear is where it all went wrong. When we got our iced versions of the drinks, they were absolutely gross. I could see if we got the same drink, but we both got something different and both were disgusting. You couldn't taste coffee in either of them, they tasted like straight sugar milk. Three stars is generous, and mostly because the staff is often very friendly. However, the wait times here are consistently really insane at peak times. This morning, I had to wait 20 minutes for a plain black coffee that I ordered through the app, thinking it would be ready when I arrived. Pro tip - if you're going to order black coffee, don't order ahead since the cashier fulfills those orders and you won't have to wait through the queue of others who ordered ahead of you. The mobile order pickup is typically about a 15-20 minute wait in my experience, so order with that timeframe in mind. I am disappointed in the service tonight. I know it's hard to hear with masks but I felt like my barista didn't even try. I got the wrong order and was overcharged. It's disappointing because I like to visit this Starbucks being that it is convenient when shopping the waterfront stores. The chi tea latte I ordered was perfect for to warm me up on a chilly day. However, my sisters latte was pretty lackluster and not to quality that we've to expect from this coffee chain. The lay out of this location is not ideal. The front doors open up directly to the cashier and if there are more than two or three people/groups in line it gets pretty crowded and congested. The situation at the end of the counter were you pick up your drinks was very similar. There really is no where to wait where you don't feel like you're in someone's way. This is my store to go to since it's right by work. It seems as of late though, this location keeps getting worse and worse. For starters every pumpkin spice latte I've gotten this year (2018) has been missing almost a forth of it and I don't know why. Don't make my drink special when I order it from the app, just want it how it comes. Guess after they make it, that employee gets thirsty? My coworkers and I order from this location every week and it always takes them about 25-30 minutes to prepare our mobile orders at 11am! This location gets BUSY. Knowing this, I usually order my drinks from the mobile app and jump past the line to the order counter at the time in which the app tells me my drink will be ready. Then I proceed to wait for my drink. Regardless of how long ago I ordered, or the ready time listed on the app, the drink is never ready when it should be. At other locations, when I have a mobile order I show up and my drink is sitting at the counter, patiently waiting for me. At this location, this is never the case. It's really nice it's right in the middle of the Waterfront shopping and has a patio in front n behind. It's small one of the smallest I've seen with only a few tables and chairs. It's hard to move around because the place is always busy and I'm big but they do have seating in front and behind the building. The only problem is the weather you only have about 10 days a year to use the patio. read more

Starbucks is a chain coffee and tea shop you will find most everywhere. They offer free WiFi. They sell their coffees in bags if you like. They also serve sandwiches and pastries. Some of the Starbucks I've seen offer drive through services. Prices are reasonable. I stopped in here since I've been hunting all over for a gingerbread man cookie. They told me they are getting one in and ugly sweater design but they don't have it yet. I plan to keep checking since it appears that no place I have been to has my holiday favorite so I'll certainly be back to one of their locations. read more

I go to this store usually twice a day. 99% of the time it's a great experience. The people working are good as well as friendly. It's a joy to go there. I'm greeted warmly even if I'm not so upbeat at the time. The latest manager is fantastic and competent as opposed to the previous regime. She's always moving and in front of the store. Not hiding in the back like some previous managers. It's a tough job especially since it gets slammed quite a bit. There is some turnover as it is expected but some of the workers are great. Especially Maddie and Specs. I think the manager's name is Alyissa(spelling). Ps they did a great job with the Pandemic Protocols as well which was very difficult for them. I highly recommend this store. And I've visited a bunch of others. They should have a higher compensation. John R read more

I think it's still wise to be wary at this location. I ordered a grande latte, a tall Americano, and three scones (the small ones with the lemon icing.) I received a grande Americano. Over several other coffee alternatives nearby in the Waterfront, I would rate this as low. Barnes and Noble has more comfortable seating and access to many books and other amenities. Panera also has more seating, cheaper coffee and a plethora of menu items to go along with the coffee. I love the location of this Starbucks, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. It's right smack in the middle of clothing stores, the Loews movie theater, as well as restaurants. I love grabbing a mid afternoon latte here on a Saturday while perusing various stores such as the Gap or Loft. I also like coming here before or after a movie for a quick caffeine jolt. While the drinks are the same as you would find at any Starbucks, the baristas and staff are really friendly, perhaps more so than other area Starbucks. My drink or choice when I come here generally in the mod afternoon is a venti (or trenta...) berry hibiscus refresher. Yum! This Starbucks is pretty small as it appears to be one where you get your coffee and get out (outside). This location is cute and charming as most of them are, but what makes this one unique is the outdoor space (the square) surrounding it. There are a few tables and chairs outside. In the summer time you can find people lounging in adirondack chairs and the green space. You can also find events such as Yoga in the Square during the warmer months. Now that Christmas is about a month away, the trees are whimsically decorated with lights. So while the store space is limited, the space surrounding it is not. As far as Starbucks go, this is a pretty nice one. The baristas are friendly and while I was here, a lot of regulars must have come in, because they bantered away with almost everyone. The bathroom was clean and well maintained and the trash wasn't overflowing in the canisters around the store. The pastries looked fresh, but I didn't partake. The noise level was also at a nice working level - not too loud, music just barely audible. I do wish there was more seating. It is nice that this location has a counter at the end of the bar for sole workers, but it doesn't replace more tables. I'm sure this isn't as much of a problem in the summer when there's the space outside. There was a treat receipt promo going on, but the barista didn't tell me about it, which I found odd. Usually when they have promos like that going on, they ask everyone if they want their receipt to come back later in the day to claim whatever the offer is. Today it was one of their new pastries for $1, I know in the summer they do $2 grande iced drinks with that morning's receipt. Overall, nice working or socializing environment. I don't even know how many stars to write to be honest. My main dude Eric is the best barista in the world hands down. Ina traveler and I'm telling you he makes his coffee drinks superbly! That said, why does him being so good makes everyone else so darn bad!? Every time I come to this specific Starbucks and he is not working I can expect my Coffee not to be the same. This Starbucks is usually pretty crowded and has tight aisles to wait in and awkward seating, due it's horseshoe shape. Customer Service is usually pretty decent for a coffee place, a bit less so than some other more "perky" Starbucks, but no complaints here as I don't require a special level of attention. This is a convenient location to indulge in while shopping. I would like to warn that at least one of the Barristas will put mocha in your chai tea it you ask for chocolate. In my opinion strange... I would suggest, if this is not your pleasure, to specify chocolate syrup and no mocha, or experience bitter coffee taste. read more
