I come here a lot since this is right by my job. I typically do mobile orders since I have a limited break. Love the service each time. The staff is friendly, the restaurant and bathrooms are clean and the music isn't too loud. I get my money's worth from my drinks and occasional food I get. Ideal location, easy to find right off the main road but during the busy hours parking is major struggles. Still offering familiar food and beverage menus, smart mobile app, and polarizing subpar coffee made iconically permissible by burning the beans to ensure quality and freshness isn't a factor at all. The consistency continues to offer the main appeal I feel, basic environment, clean bathrooms, great service, customizable menu, tasty food options, and fast drive through but combined with massive profits past years yet higher prices I'm only got here to use up a ten dollar gift card that suddenly felt very small. It is sad a global brand must keep raising prices without any changes to ingredient plus avoiding taxes and holding back proper employee compensation. Crucially I have no idea what to order here anymore, the sugar content, a soda amount of sugar in the typical small frappe is unlawfully unhealthy. Odd for Starbucks to market an environmentally responsible, socially in touch, and politically correct corporation but strung up by many modern respected health associations recommending a day's intake of sugar be well under half the sugar found in a Frappuccino. I'd argue that being able to drop a Taco Bell meal order's cost on one drink here should get me an organic blend of proper crafted coffee, sweetener options like honey, agave, stevia, and raw cane sugar, minimal added sugar or sodium, and absolutely zero artificial flavors like vanillin. As it goes, I highly recommend Coffee Hound as the far more ideal option for crafted local brews where the bean quality is entirely superior, ingredients, and brand all for an easier to swallow moral sip. read more

Tipping screens are getting out of hand/control! Starbucks 1032 Sagamore Pkwy West Lafayette, Indiana: on my way to work, went through the drive-thru, placed a single order of Cappuccino Vente (20 Fl Oz), and proceeded to payment/pickup window. First thing cashier shows is a tip screen/device + verbally requests a tip. When I declined to tip, Cashier visibly showed displeasure, I paid for my coffee, after a bit if delay received my coffee, and proceeded on my way. Imagine my surprise, if not shock, when I found coffee cup was barely half full!!! I believe/suspect establishment waits on the customers response to tip request, if tip declined, customer receives inadequate service/content! It is acceptable/reasonable for establishments to expect tip for service (servers/cleaners/bartenders/etc.,), nowadays establishments that didn't use to request tipping have since COVID adopted tipping practice/request, in this case drive-thru service! Also, this Starbucks location is very inconvenient to get in and out of. read more

Have always had great service here, and in particular with David (usually works the morning shift during the week). He is positively awesome. Always cheerful and chatty.. very much a people person (even when you may not be!!!) The Drive thru can get a bit backed up, but the line moves at a decent pace assuming you don't get behind someone who has the nerve to have 10 orders and to go through the drive-thru to get them instead of calling ahead and picking them up. They are one of the beta sites for the on-line order and pick-up and every time I have used it, it has been hot and ready for me by the time I stepped in the door. Not sure how being consistently busy rates a lower rating here, but they are limited by the physical property they are located on. I would think your beef would be with the clientele who happen to purposefully have gotten to the establishment right before you did with the sole purpose of interfering with your self-centered life. Kelsey (I'm not sure if that's the spelling) took my order and gave me my coffee today. Whatever Starbucks is paying her it's not enough! She was so friendly and asked me about my day and was just so nice. She was wearing a mask because it was the first day being open since COVID but I could hear in her voice that she had a big smile on her face and seemed like she was truly enjoying her job. Whether you go through the drive-thru or stand in the line inside, this store is always busy but has super fast service! My morning drive-thru barista, David, is absolutely awesome and deserves an award for his quick and friendly service. He is always in a good mood and remembers details about his customers. He makes my day! This location is very limited by the property and so the drive-thru line gets a little crazy - coming in from two different directions. Most people are very polite and follow the order of arrival as cars merge. Inside the wait can be just as long but, again, super service keeps the line moving fast. This location also has on-line ordering so, if you don't want to wait, order ahead of time! read more

Some of the best customer service I've experienced. I ordered a drink, and when it came late, they didn't hesitate to give me a gift card to make up for the long wait. I have to revise my previous review from five to four stars. Despite the many other reviews here, the baristas have always been friendly to me. But then, I always approach with a smile. And it's still difficult to get in, park, and get out of the place. However, today I got my first bad order. I ordered a s'more frapp as a reward drink, and the barista forgot to put chocolate and marshmallow in the drink. Apparently, she has never made s'mores around the campfire. I thought something was up when I saw another customer's s'more frapp brought up, and it didn't have chocolate or marshmallow. But the barista announced it as a "light" so I thought maybe that was why. Then here comes mine made the same way. It was still delicious, but it was really just a graham cracker frapp. And it was free so I didn't want to bitch about a free drink. That would have been very ungrateful and violate my "approach with a smile" philosophy. Unfortunately, I can no longer consider this location a five-star Starbucks. read more

I've never been much of a Starbucks fan, but this location is a new low. I went in to try the new drink, Frappula Frappuccino. For some reason, I couldn't connect at that moment how to pronounce the name of the drink, so I figured I'd just point to the frappuccino I wanted since it was RIGHT BEHIND the cashier. He tells me "I don't play the pointing game. Which drink do you want?" I explain it's literally right behind him, so he finally turns then points to the name and enunciates what it says. There are a good amount of tables both inside and outside. They play their music really loud though so it's not good if you're trying to study or have a quiet conversation with someone. Typical Suburban Starbucks. The coffee and food are clearly the same quality as you would expect at any Starbucks in the country. This location has a drive thru and although there always seems to be a line, it moves quickly. The baristas are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Starbucks has exceptional coffee but can be overpriced and when there is a long line you sometimes get a crappy version of your coffee. But overall Starbucks coffee usually tastes great and gives you the caffeine you need. My favorite is an earl grey tea latte! read more

Not a good service especially in the drive-through. Today I ordered Everything Bagel with cream cheese. I came home opened my bag and found no cream cheese inside. As I trusted and thought that everything will be there in my order. Now, this incident happened to me almost three times with the same Starbucks on the corner and that is why I am writing this review. I called them and mentioned that - you forgot to give me cream cheese, the lady over the phone said, please come back and get it or will refund you or will give you free coffee. The question here is why not they give it at the time of order? Why there is no quality check at the window before delivering an order to the customer? I can understand that their is a huge customer line but what about your delivery check. Sometimes you forgot to give forks for egg white bites, sometimes you forgot to give napkins, sometimes you just put egg white bites without tray - is this is your customer delivery? The worst deliveries I have ever seen from this branch. Lessons learned - Now next time when I go to this branch, I will recheck my order right at the window as this branch already lost a trust in their deliveries. read more
