And the monitors don't display the full menu, mainly just ads. I ordered a Trenta iced Shirley-Temple-with-cream (yes, my new thing) and a warmed buttery croissant that was toasted to perfection. The croissant? Delicious, but nearly $5 felt like a one-off luxury -- I know Costco exists, but when you need breakfast on the go, you pay for the convenience and the warm flaky moment. This Starbucks was recently remodeled and it definitely feels more spacious inside. There are a few tables you can sit at inside and outside. The pick up counter is not as crammed into the corner, with real room to stand. That being said, I walked in to pick up my mobile order. Greeted initially walking in, but I stood at the counter for a minute to see if I needed to check in before grabbing my order. No one talked to me at that point, so I grabbed my drink. Meaning anyone could have. I'm sure that's why the counter is open, but really anyone could grab anything and no one would know. My Cortado was just as I ordered and was the warm pick me up I needed on this cold and gloomy day. I like all the merch you can buy and the place looks more modern than it did previously. read more

I came in here on a 100 plus degree day in the middle of the afternoon. I desperately needed some water. I've gone into numerous other Starbucks with my Starbucks tumbler and had them fill it with water for me. I approached the counter and politely asked the girl/worker if she could fill my tumbler with water. She asked if I was buying anything and I replied with no. She told me they can only provide water to customers if they buy something. I pointed out that I had previously bought my Starbucks tumbler from them. She again asked if I was going to buy anything and I replied no. She again stated if I didn't buy anything she couldn't provide any water. So I left. Parking lot easy access going NE on Jefferson Blvd. Plenty of parking at 11:00 on a Monday morning. Rather clean parking lot, too. I definitely recommend this Starbucks location if you're down to burn some money on barista-made coffee. Me? I hate coffee. I mask it with sugar things. And I prefer to brew at home to the tune of $0.18/serving. A month ago, on a hot morning on July 25, 2025 I decided to not come back ever again to this place. I was with my 80 year old mother on our way back from the next door bank, and decided to sit under the umbrella of their outside EMPTY tables while waiting 3 minutes for my son to bring the car from the parking lot. I went to the front counter, there was no line, and asked if I could please use the restroom what is the code? In the same breath I said I will buy something when I come back out. I use the west Sac location most of the time and have experienced good service and friendly staff. One evening I ordered here a dragonfruit lemonade blended and brought my own cup. Once t it was filled, it spilled almost half in the counter. The barista was apologetic and made me more to fill the cup. As she was filling it spilled again but was able to get my cup refilled. I forgot all about it. One day about a week or so later I came in and the same barista asked me if I remembered her from spilling my drink. We laughed and I said, yes, I remember you. She apologized again and then gave me a personalized gift card for a free drink! Now that's class and I appreciate the gesture. They have great people there!!! I like this location! There is always a bi of a buzz happening. Regulars sitting and enjoying coffee having deep conversations and the hustle and bustle of people getting ready to start their days. Almost always, I see the barista welcome somebody by name and ask them about their day. They really get to know the customers. In addition, various baked goods are offered as well as chips, granola bars and other kinds of snacks. They also have various breakfast sandwiches. The place seems pretty popular. Lots of people are hanging out, drinking coffee and on various electronic devices. The shop offers free WiFi so you can connect and not risk using up data on your cell plan. The coffee is decent. Seems a little pricey compared to making coffee at home in the Mr. Coffee. Also, checking the nutrition chart, many of the beverages offered seem to be loaded with calories. I pretty much exclusively mobile order here and somehow manage to leave upset every time. I've worked at Starbucks for a couple of years in the past so I'm somewhat familiar with the processes that are in place to keep things efficient. This store gets really disorganized when busy. Mobile orders often take much longer than the estimated timeframe on the phone. Today, I went in 17 minutes after placing my order and was rudely told that tons of people were waiting before me when one of my drinks was very clearly ready. The baristas really need to love finished orders name out so that people can grab them when they are busy. I felt like a burden to the barista, and that should never happen. On another occasion, I ordered a cold brew on mobile order and showed up within the estimated window. The barista told me to wait while she made 5 Frappuccinos one by one. Baristas shouldn't make drinks one by one at Starbucks -- it's really inefficient and efficiency is part of Starbucks' brand. I'm talking about the same barista in both instances above. She may or may not be a manager because she's been working there a long time. My family also frequents this store and don't have a problem with her, but I think that the service is much worse when busy. This is to say, on the off chance that management sees this, place mobile orders name out! And customers plan for an extra 5 minutes to get your order, especially in the morning or around the time school gets out. read more

Went to this location this morning at 6:55 am. Ordered an ice coffee and I now get it without ice because they always fill it with too much ice and cream! I've literally watched them pour half cream in my cup. Today they said per their new policy they don't fill the cup up all the way, I measured it out and they didn't even give me 2 cups of coffee! I know an ice cup is 24 oz to compensate for ice, but I got less than 2.5 cups so either way I've been ripped off on multiple occasions, especially all the times I ordered it with ice! My daughter Ordered her drink at 8:17 said it was ready at 8:30 was asked if there was a drink ready and the barista Leonardo just said no, then waited and asked him again explaining it's been 30 minutes to which he said well it's not ready. After 40 minutes of nothing we had to cancel the order. I understand having teens in there can be a lot but he seemed to only be rude to the teenagers. He was in the wrong, he has no customer service, but thank you to the lady cashier who helped cancel the order.
