The service here is unmatched, yes it's a smaller store and further away for me, but I would gladly make the drive out to this location for the customer service alone. I came in by chance cause I needed to get a drink, a complicated drink, that I usually am embarrassed to even order (for my cousin). I apologized for the complexity of the order and they were so nice about it and knew exactly what my cousin was asking for. Great place to study as it is not very packed as usual Starbucks locations! The service is great, they do have a lot of mobile orders so if you plan to order in the store make sure you have enough time. I went during my lunch break & I had to wait 10min. I came here one morning and placed a rather large order of beverages and pastries to bring to my clients. The staff were very helpful, especially the older man who was really nice and took special attention to ensure I got my orders prepared and picked up on time that I requested. Unfortunately, when I brought the goodies to my clients, there were a lot of wrong orders. I would however take some responsibility for the errors because the older gentleman who helped me earlier asked if I would read back to him the orders listed on my phone, but I just told him to go ahead and prepare them because I had to bring the orders on an agreed time to my clients. I came back later that today and spoke to the manager/leader at this location, Angela Ventura. She listened to my concerns and addressed that appropriately to come up with a really helpful resolution. She was really helpful and told me she will ensure that they will be very careful next time. Truly highly customer and solution focused! This Starbucks location is now my go-to for all Starbucks orders I will have to bring my clients within the area and nearby. I, like everyone else, have been to numerous Starbucks, in fact too many to count. Repeatedly to those near my home, but also to the many found along the way of every outing or trip I've ever made. Because Starbucks is so much a part of every day existence one doesn't feel the need to give a review, that is unless something really stands out. I have had occasion to stop at the Starbucks on Washington Blvd (across from Whittier Presbyterian Hospital) at least 4 to 5 times in the past month. This Starbucks maintains all the expected quality and service that is an integral part of the Starbucks experience, BUT, in addition to that, they have the most amazing staff I have encountered at any Starbucks I've visited. These people are super friendly, easy to do but not easy to make it so effortless. I actually felt better after my visit there, the kindness, the hospitality, the concern that my visit was important to them was so obvious. Fantastic service and help. I was organizing a memorial for my brothers passing. In taking care of ordering the coffee I came to this Starbucks on 12376 Washington Blvd. I was greeted by Dan who turns out to be the store manager. He answered all my questions and made the whole process so easy, even giving me his card so I could call ahead to streamline the pick up. He also helped me carry out the cartons to my car. Sadly, I am moved to post a review about this location. I stopped in on a break between sales calls, as I do to different Starbucks locations throughout the week. I spent my $12+ dollars. After being rung up and served, I asked for the code bathroom door and was told that "Starbucks, as a company, had closed the bathrooms because people were misusing them.". I was in another location yesterday and used the restroom twice! So, not true. I said, "I am 53 years old and will not misuse your bathroom." I am sure they have one operational bathroom because otherwise you would not be able to be open. California law requires that your employees have a restroom. I was the only customer in the store so I would not have been seen by anyone. I was told "Carl's Jr. has an open bathroom." I replied, "I did not spend my money at Carl's Jr." The store was a literal mess with employees personal gear and trash on the cafe side of the glass. The conversation between the three baristas was inappropriate as well. Dang, I just don't like writing things like this....hopefully you have better luck at this location. read more

You shouldn't be asking people that every five seconds after they give you an order because it's just coming off is so rude and impatient. Long story short, they accidentally asked for the dragon fruit refresher with coconut milk. At first I was a little skeptical but it honestly tastes so good! 100% would recommend any fans of the Pink Drink to try this out. Special thanks to the workers at this specific location. The girl did a great job with mine and my friends extremely specific order. Even though she was slammed with customers and was the only one behind the counter, she was extremely helpful. This is my first 1 star review ever. I've had a family member in the hospital across the street for a while, so we buy a traveler coffee case and other items at this Starbucks at least once a week. I simply asked for a bigger container of half & half to go with the traveler and he snapped his head at me and said he had to charge me. I told him that this was the first time I've had this issue and he went on a rampage and began arguing with my sister. every other employee at this location is always very professional but not this guy. So I went on 11/11/23 with my daughter and a friend. The cashier continued moping while we waited for her. I approached the cash register and asked if she could help us she said give me a minute. So we waited until she would want to come over and help. She walked over and we ordered. She went back to her mopping. I asked can i order something else and with a unhappy face said give me a min so I waited again until she decided to come and take my order. When I asked for a bag for the extra pastries I ordered she said "I ran out of bags" but I noticed she had bags under the register. So I waited for the barista to end prepping our drinks to ask for a bag for our pastries and he same a bag that was sitting on the counter empty but used. I felt angry but also dismissed as both gave us the same treatment. We were not rude or disrespectful in any way. So as we walked out the cashier said "have a great day" with a snide face.
