WOAH - awesome place!!! Went to this bar on a Friday night before a concert at the Van Buren. It was hidden inside of Zippys the pizza restaurant so we had trouble finding it, it looked like you were walking into the pizza place's freezer! I was confused thinking that a customer at the restaurant was asking for my ID... The drinks tasted great and were reasonably priced. Walls were lined with vintage pin ball skins and the counter at the bar is all pinballs! Music cranks up at 9pm and people started dancing on the light up dance floor. Pinball machines are around 50 cents to $1 to play. We will definitely be back again this weekend! read more

I love this place and come her a couple times a month. I gave water to a drunk girl and was removed from the premises by the older Bouncer/security who watched me pour the water from the water jug he put there. When I asked if it was ok to help other women he said no and I was not allowed time to inform my friends (and my ride) that I was leaving and then felt unsafe standing alone after trying to help a girl outside at a bar. read more

THE BOUNCERS ARE TERRIBLE. Here to reiterate how terrible the bouncers are. The guy sat with my out of state ID for 5 minutes while another bouncer went searching for his flashlight. A bunch of people went in while I stood there. I laughed at the guy as he checked my ID. Then ripped it from his hand when he finally gave it back. He then sent two of his buddies to kick me out of the bar for "disrespecting" him. They tried giving my friends coupons for free pizza to get them to stay. This place is a joke. We were ordering at Ziggys and this guy randomly walked up to my friend telling her she couldn't get into the bar (we in no way were trying to get in, we just wanted pizza, didn't even know the "entry" was where we were standing). When we sat down we watched him tell a group he was letting no more people in but then three girls walked up and he said "come in over here quick"... I've never felt more uncomfortable sitting in this "bouncers" presence. Don't waste your time here, I'm sure there are better places. read more

They need a better system when it comes to people coming in. They said we have wait to at ziggys and the hostess come get us but if some one comes in at the front hostess stand first when something opens that they get the spot. They need to to do reservations and or something because they made no sense to understanding how getting a table or spot worked. read more

Super cute and fun bar to try out in downtown phoenix. Right next to the van Buren in a secret little entrance disguised as a walk in freezer and when you come in it's so nicely decorated with bright lights, arcade machines, and a bunch of disco balls. Great for pictures! Drinks were overall pretty cheap and same with food and came out at a decent amount of time. Would've given a four star rating but our server only checked on us once within the two hour span we were here and had us keep calling another worker over for help. First, I must say that this is a great place for 21-23 yr olds who are barely discovering alcohol and likely are more interested in playing pinball; or those who still experience the placebo effect when it comes to anything that looks remotely like a "real" drink. However, for those of us who are just checking out a new bar, DON'T.... Just don't do it... To start, they have semi decent covid rules (and even make sure you read them) our table had wheels... But no locks. So if you tend to lean when you drink this isn't a very safe option. When we did get a new table, the host tended to the table more than the server...on a slow Wednesday night. She even made sure to give us our bill after 20 minutes and made it clear it was time to go, though they have a 2hour table limit. The drinks.... Oh the drinks. Not really sure how a bar can get this wrong but three specialty drinks in and 30mins later. No buzz, no nothing. (Typically I take pride in getting a good buzz going off a one drink) the drinks were a huge disappointment. The menu looked great, also really good prices... But it's likely due to the short pour. All the drinks were really weak. I wasn't expecting a strong drink due to the fact that they make it clear they target a younger crowd, however I was expecting to at least have a small buzz off of Three of their "Speciality Cocktails". Huge Disappointment, but to end this in a good note... They do have a cool entrance. read more
