This is a fun little secret spot dedicated to David Bowie and his fans. I love the floors and art all over the bar walls. I'm not a huge fan of their mixed drinks but everyone else seems to be! I'd rather have a draft beer which they have too! My only "complaint" is that pinball is $1 a game. Maybe I feel this way because my games don't usually last long? Lol. Hours say open at 2:00 PM on Sunday. Went in today on a Sunday and they said they were closed until 5:00 PM. Not very convenient.

They have "covid-precautions" so they only let in a specific number of people, but it's not doing anything for capacity when the man at the back gate is letting in groups for bribes. your bar is not cool enough to be paying $100 for a group of 3 girls to skip the line. read more

Wow!!! I walked into this place with the same look as those kids entering the chocolate room in Willy Wonka. You know- THAT moment. The decor is banging, the drinks were spectacular and the bartenders were hysterical. The hidden entrance makes you feel like you are a special person who gets to go to all the cool places. I really dig this place but I've never been there on the weekends or when they have big events so I have not actually had any drinks at the bar. I just go there to play pinball when it's not so busy. They have a good selection of pinball machines. Sometimes I don't like the music they play. If I have my kids with me, I don't really like them listening to nasty lyrics and sometimes the music is playing way too loud and with all of the noise from the machines it can be a bit overstimulating. Otherwise it's a great experience and since they are connected to Ziggys pizza next-door, you could get a great lunch deal and go play pinball for a bit. The only slight complaint I would have is that the one machine that I tend to play most often always seems to have issues and each time I have mentioned this to them they've been kind and said that they'll look into it but then when I go back the same issue happens every time. Overall, it's worth a visit for sure. read more

Worst security/bouncers I have ever encountered. And I love ziggys so it's beyond frustrating to have such a fun place to dance be ruined by men with a god complex. A few months ago me and my girlfriend were dancing and she had a drink in her hand and I guess spilled a tiny bit. Security immediately came up to us and shouted "if you're gonna dance with it, don't f*cking spill it". Completely uncalled for and ruined the mood, we left soon after. A few weeks later we go again and while I'm trying to order my first drink at the bar, security came up and grabbed my shoulders to push me off a wall and told me to "stop leaning on it" when I hadn't even touched it. And last night I gave it one more shot for a dj we liked. My friend was stopped in the line for being "too drunk" when she was completely fine. No reason to single her out. He pulled another friend aside and she convinced him to let her in under the promise she would have nothing to drink once inside. He even came in several times while we were dancing inside to "check on her". I understand they work with drunk people and have to be firm sometimes. But they are rude and aggressive and seem to assume everyone is drunk when they're actually sober. Get new damn security because they're ruining the place. read more

I love this little spot connected to the van buren!!! The speak easy like entrance is fun and all of the lights inside are a blast!! The pin ball machines of course are so much fun to bounce around and play. My only dissapointment waz that the cocktails were a little sweet for my taste but the concept behind them was fitting and fun. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were having a good time having some beers, dancing with friends, celebrating a friend's bday. I then got approached by a security guard after I gave my bf a kiss and he asked me if he could speak to me outside. My bf and I went out to the patio area and the security guard told us that it was time to go home because we have had too much to drink and the we were really drunk. We had only had TWO drinks, TWO!!! Discrimination and homophobia is real in this establishment and my friends and I will never dare step foot in this place anymore! The lead security guard came to be gay as well and did nothing about the situation after confirming that we didn't look or sound drunk but that he could not let us back in. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! There are plenty of spots in Phoenix that are way better and accept everyone. Don't go here people! read more

Best spot. Extra great service. Pizza on point. Rad super fun drinks. Had my son's bday here - everyone in their 20s had a blast and everyone in their 70s had a blast. Staff went above and beyond from the minute we walked in and the space is incredible. read more

This was the worse visit I have had :( I brought My husband and a friend and after waiting over an hour we played pin ball which was great and bought drinks they were tasty...and then a hostess talked to me about moving tables and etc... my husband asked a question and her first reaction was to calls security she stated I already talked to her pointing at me and when he came over he apologized for her response and we said we understand and we left I'm so bummed about it!!! I think we came in contact with the jerk security everyone was talking about in the reviews. Had family come to visit and we say this on social media as one few things open for drinks, good music and we couldn't even get in. The security said no more than 10 people in a group, I replied we were only 10 and he said oh I mean 9! Okay so all of a sudden it changed. Their social media shows a video where a sign says parties of 6+ have to add gratituity and due to covid must keep their masks on no where did it say the max a group could be. I asked if we could be split up we didnt mind being in different tables if were going to be playing games drinking and eating and he said no. I still was nice and asked could you give us recommendations I just moved here and my family came to visit and he said I DONT KNOW BUT NOT HERE and made a pushing motiton like back away; so he can go back to talking to his friends outside the door like bullies. I've been here before and had a great time but tonight not so much. First they set up valet parking who does that it's a pizza bar?? After the valet tried charging me to park I found parking down the street. Finally, get to the bar only to get some rude female bartender make my drink. I'd recommend better staff if they wanna make it. Only thing this spot has good is the light up dance floor & games that's about it. Oh and the bathrooms are very cool. read more
