I was staying at the Mandalay Bay for a trade show and while I was out exploring the hotel, I spotted the Starlight Tattoo/ Club Tattoo and popped in on a whim just to see what it might cost for a spur of the moment tattoo. I had a work function to attend but could come in the following day and Tony aka Humpty was able to easily accommodate my schedule and do my tattoo. I wasn't looking for anything huge or heavily detailed but never want to assume someone can drop everything to fit me into their schedule so I was so happy that everything worked out perfect! Everyone at the shop was so nice and helpful! Tony did a great job and I absolutely love my new doxie hot dog tattoo! My tattoo was simple, but have seen other examples of larger & more detailed work and I 10/10 would recommend!! read more

After seeing a show at Mandalay Bay I walked in to get a quote and figure out what I wanted, and maybe come back; there were other people looking at the books too, but I knew I wanted a wolf. I wasn't sure yet exactly 'how' it should be inked so talked about it and found one in the book: a tribal wolf howling that grabbed my attention. Well, it was one of those Vegas "seize the moment" times: made the decision and off I went to the chair, where Alex prepped my arm and then went to work: it took about an hour to complete. Everyone was really nice, friendly, and helpful: Alex must have a magic touch because I didn't feel anything, and the design is beautiful. The vibe inside the shop was good, busy but calm, and the hour or so passed quickly. My arm was wrapped in a plastic film that was to be kept on for three days, and I couldn't wait to 'unwrap' it back home. I got carried away with the tattoo and didn't take photos of the shop itself, sorry all. I do have the first pic taken after unwrapping the new ink. I would/will definitely go back to Starlight: do check them out ! read more

Alright it's been awhile since I was in Vegas with my wife we both got a tattoo in 2019 hers turned out nice we both got dice tattoos I couldn't figure out how to finish it out so I've been disappointed a bit not the fault of the artist. So I've been thinking how I could fix/ finish it. We went to a concert at the House of Blues Saturday night and we stopped by to talk to the staff, Marie and Alex took care of my questions and we discussed an idea I had and after some input from my wife I made an appointment for the next day, wanted to sleep on it. When you go to Starlight Tattoo you'll be greeted by a super friendly staff, Marie, and I think you'll appreciate how clean the facility is the work stations are organized and well stocked. So next day it's go time we arrived early but that was no problem Alex was free and was ready to go we went over everything one last time, my wife who has an extensive graphic design experience talked with Alex and he was so cool listening and collaborating with us we settled on the final vision and a little over an hour later viola I got a tattoo that has a special meaning to me and incorporates my earlier tattoo I'm very happy with it. I know a tattoo is a big decision but if you want a tattoo while you're visiting Vegas this is the one place to go ask for Alex for sure but I'm sure any of the artists will take of you. read more

I came here looking at moving to this part of town, fell in love with the vibes here, Club Tattoo has made some major improvements all around ! Couple of my favorite artists are still there and the shop looks beautiful. I recommend coming in for quality piercings and some top tier tattoo work. I've gone to Michelle for 3 tattoos and plan to keep coming back. The first two were simple band logos but demanded clean, straight lines and consistent fill. 4 years later, everything still looks great. The last one was "Lady Justice" from Metallica's ...and Justice For All. She knocked it out of the park. She was able to capture all of the sublte shading and ghostly lines accurate and clean. I am so happy I found this amazing shop! I had an awful, horrific piercing experience at another shop over 10 years ago. I was terrified to get another piercing. Well, I found this amazing shop filled with Talented people. And luckily I found Cristiano! He made me feel extremely comfortable, and he was very professional. Got my nose and ear pierced by Christian. Walked in on a busy afternoon, with the wait time and the piercing we were out in 90 minutes (with three ahead of me). the cleanliness, professionalism and gentleness of the piercing process was amazing. He was so patient and thorough. Piercings do hurt in the moment for a few seconds but the pain was gone once he put the earring on and the healing has been great since! read more

Christrano the piercer- couldn't be happier. Probably the best service experienced in my entire recent vegas trip. I had gone in because I needed new body jewelry and help inserting in due to a very old piercing that was rejecting newer jewelry from a different shop. He was kind, respectful, professional. He helped me pick new jewelry and inserted it for me despite the difficulty I was having with it. I was embarrassed and and in pain and he said " we are going to sort this out!" And he did. Everything was sterile and well executed. It's been three days and I've already healed completely. My experience was professional, well executed, and most importantly to me, I was treated with dignity and the job was done perfectly! Thank you again, you really saved me! Was in Vegas for my 40th and needed to do something to remember it by. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Tattoos are a prime example so I made sure to do my research before letting anyone near my arm with a needle. I found Chris. I went through his Instagram and checked out his work. He had clean lines and great art work. I gave him the quote from Pablo Picasso and the image and he took initiative and created a font that would look like Picasso's handwriting. Don't waste your time here, as they're way overpriced. Don't use the "I got a tattoo in Vegas!" As an excuse either. Simple request for a small tattoo on the ankle for $250? Seriously? Just get the tattoo at home and tell them you got it in Vegas. read more

My wife and I were in Vegas for The Rolling Stones concert and her birthday, and staying at mandalay bay. We both have tattoos, and we had kinda sorta talked about getting new ones so we stopped by the starlight tattoo shop in the hotel, just off the casino. I had been wanting a tat of the logo for the band the cure as a sort of tribute to my late brother and as soon as I showed the gentleman who greeted us, he immediately said it would be no problem, had it sized to my liking on my arm and I was ready to go. Joe Castillo did both our pieces and while he was working on mine, the guys were helping design my wife's, a delicate leafy ring of flowers around her ankle that she adores. Now, a bit about Joe-incredibly cool guy, as friendly as can be and very patient and gentle while doing the tattoos. We were both flat out thrilled with him and the work he did. The whole shop and staff had a great, laid back vibe and we both will definitely be getting more ink done from them. Excellent experience in every way. Thanks! read more

Seems like the lady was kind enough the guys were pricks. Kept cutting her off, didn't allow me to ask any questions just went on about his experience. I didn't get to show my design before they brushed my off I was prepared to spend at least 2k but he assumed I've never had a tattoo "over a couple hundred" just outwardly judging people's tattoos. First off, I need to say that I did not get a tattoo here, so this review has nothing at all to do with their quality of work. I'm writing this because I was completely blown away by their prices (hence the reason they did not do any work for me). My daughter and I are having a girls weekend here in Vegas and wanted to get matching tattoos. We chose a tiny red heart like in the picture, which clearly would take a few minutes to do each. We were told that pricing goes by the size and that these would be $200 each! I asked if I heard him correctly and told him these are only about a quarter of an inch, and he replied yes without blinking and eye. Obviously we could not justify $400 for this and left. No wonder the place was empty. There are plenty of other places nearby on and off of the strip that are more reasonable than this one, so do yourself and your wallet a favor and check them out on Yelp or Google, or ask some of the locals for recommendations. That's what we did and are so glad!! read more

Dear Mario Barth, I went into your store on 07/29 at 17:32 I was greeted by a woman at first, I told her I needed a new nose ring, she called out your jeweler who was a tall male with dark hair lots of piercings and his tongue was split. He asked what I was looking for I told him a nose ring, just something tiny, he proceeded to say all the nose rings are high quality and gold, they start at $65. That seemed kind of high but again they are gold and my sister started playing with her yellow gold hoop talking about how it's 18k and she paid $80. So I told him I'd think about it, went outside with my sister, we talked about it and i retuned back to the store to purchase it, he asked which one I wanted and I told him to pick the one that sparkles. He picked one and went to the back he then was prepping it to insert it, at that time it was disclosed my bill was going to be $90something and I said I would install it myself. I Paid $70.44 total for the smallest size nose ring that actually ended up being titanium, none of the nose ring is any type of white gold what so ever. I've called your store tryin to get some type of resolution and they are literally acting like I'm making up this story. I honestly can't believe this is happening and the manager Jennifer and whomever Henry are, are acting so beyond childish. I have no reason to make something like this up, nor would I spend $70 on a piece of titanium Jewelry Especially since I'm highly allergic to nickel. Put down a deposit for myself and two friends for three tiny, matching tattoos and we were told we would get a deal. Showed up for our appointment the next day and the artist was a no-show. The team that was there said they couldn't go.less than shop minimum which was, I believe $225.or $250 a piece. We went ahead and got the tattoos and they asked for $200 each for three super easy tattoos that took about 45 TOTAL for all three. Be sure to get the quote in writing when booking ahead of time. In addition, my tattoo turned out fine but one of my friends got a horrible infection. read more

First off Orion did a great job on our tattoos. He was a class act and professional. I'm sure being an artist at a parlor in the Mandalay Bay can get crazy. He was very much appreciated and is the only reason there are stars on here at all. However there was an artist Jericho I think was his name. He needs a serious attitude adjustment. You're not curing cancer dickhead get over yourself. Without getting into it, the guy is an overgrown infant. Also, one of the staffers (some white girl with dirty hair) needs to yank the stick out of her rectum as well. Good times. read more

Absolute worst experience I've had getting a tattoo. It is completely blown out and not even whatsoever. When I contacted them they took zero accountability and was told "everyone heals differently based on their skin", I have multiple tattoos, some around the same vicinity as this one, all my other tattoos have healed perfectly. Incredibly rude and disrespectful, you've been warned. read more

Mario Barth has lived a life of tattooing unlike any other tattoo artist in the world. He hand-selects and trains each of his artists, perhaps in unconventional ways at times, but also from his decades of experience with what REALLY works. His tattoo skills turn traditional tattooing rules on their heads from time to time, but the tattoo results are undeniable. Twenty eight years ago in Western Europe, becoming a tattoo artist took determination and bravado, especially for Mario Barth. Growing up in Austria, where tattooing was not just frowned upon but completely illegal, he came up through the underground. The four times I went to get my hands done by this guy I even gave him a tip every time!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE

I had to remove my simple stud and ring jewelry, I'd had them for 40+ years since the punk rock days, prior to a surgery. After not reinstalling my jewelry for 6+ weeks due to lack of anyone to assist me the holes covered over (slightly) with new skin. Kala said to just come in, no appointment necessary. I went in and he was VERY nice and professional. Kala told me my jewelry was "costume" and that I should replace them with professional titanium versions. I didn't mind paying for new jewelry, I was tired of how hard it was to remove and reinstall the old ones. He fixed me up in no time, for a very low price, for jewelry and service. I cannot recommend a better shop in Las Vegas.

Main reason I will always go to Kala is how sterile he is when piercing. He washed his hands and put new gloves on at least 5x while prepping my vertical labret. He sterilizes jewelry right in front of you using an autoclave. Also, he is very upfront when it comes to his professional opinion if the piercing is possible and/or if it would look nice with your anatomy. After Kala left Hawaii, I made the mistake of getting an Ashley piercing by another piercer in Hilo & just wow, worst experience ever. My bruising was sooooooo bad, Never again! I will make the trip to Vegas just to get pierced by Kala! Mahalo Kala for being the best! Appreciate you!

Instead of handling the confusion professionally, the communication became rude and disrespectful. Customers should not be insulted or blamed over a payment issue, especially when screenshots and proof were provided. The tattoo work may be good, but professionalism and customer service matter too. By the end, the whole situation felt unorganized and unprofessional.
