In desperation I left a message in the office at 5:40 am. Long story short Cristina got me in and boy was I happy. My husband and I are having great experience with dr. Mendoza. He is very knowledgeable and taking his approach easy, making twist in the most comfortable way. I had experience with other chiropractor and it hurt so badly during and after procedures that i stopped visiting him. Dr. Mendoza relaxes muscles in tense areas prior the therapy on bones to make his therapy not so painful. Dr. Mendoza has a lot professional physiotherapist equipment, including x-ray which in combination with his manual therapy make a great improvement with the body problems. Dr. Mendoza is the BEST chiropractor! He is so kind, gentle, genuinely caring & empathetic, and he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever had in any field. He doesn't talk AT you or rush you through, he really listens and is an amazing experienced healer. I am so lucky I happened to find this chiropractor office around 2017 or 2018 I believe. I had been in a car accident around the time & hurt my neck. Since then over the years when I'd get injured as a bartender lifting heavy kegs and things, I'd come in and always feel instantly better after an adjustment from Dr. Mendoza and/or massage from one of the massage therapists. Recently I had my worst injury in my lower back in years, I have no idea how it happened but there were days I had to lay on the ground for hours to get any relief. I had been putting off getting an appointment because I would feel great for days and kept thinking yay it got better, only for it to get super painful again. Finally I made that appointment recently and I felt so much better after the adjustment. Luckily I made a follow up appointment for shortly after, my back got painful again and that follow up helped even more. I will never put off making the appointment again! It's amazing how quickly Dr. Mendoza's adjustments relieve pain! I always get nervous for the neck adjustment just cause it's loud and startling, so he will sometimes start with the adjustments at my feet and wait til I've relaxed before he gets to my neck, or he just calmly and patiently waits for me to relax my head in his hands before the neck adjustment. Dr. Mendoza really does care. I started seeing him years ago because I had many occupational injuries. Since I have healed a lot and changed careers, I rarely need any adjusting. Recently I fell while skateboarding with my dog and Dr. M fixed me right up. His temperament is warm and kind and he does not treat you like a number and he is NEVER selling you a treatment you don't need(I have had lots of that). If Dr. M says you need a treatment plan it's because you really do. Lastly, I don't know how Dr. M keeps his prices so low, especially in this economy but I believe it's because he has a kind heart. There are so many hard workers out there that can't afford to get injured, it can become not only physically painful but emotionally and financially painful as well. Being injured can become downright terrifying. Thank you Dr. M for making it all less scary. read more

Let me preface my feedback with this: Dr Mendoza is a wonderful chiropractor. He is very personable, a good listener & genuinely cares about my well - being. Unfortunately, Esther, the front desk person will be the demise of Dr Mendoza's thriving practice. This review is regarding my interaction with Esther before & after my one - hour massage & the therapist not giving me a full hour massage. BTW, this is my 4th time coming to this facility but my first time meeting Esther. So here it goes: So I arrived at the office at 3:47pm for my 4:00pm massage appointment. While seated in the waiting room, I saw a framed picture on the wall to inquire about the discounted pricing for massage therapy. I am committed to coming each month so I thought I would inquire about it. There were 2 females at the front desk. I asked about the discount & one of them was Esther who answered but was not paying attention to my question. Without me finishing my question, she already had an answer which is "it is not covered by the insurance." Huh? That wasn't my question. So I repeated it & she told me the difference between paying cash & with a credit card. Listening skills is paramount. She must have been annoyed because I interrupted her conversation with her co - worker regarding her fake eyelashes. I really like the massage therapist. She works very hard to soften the knots on my back & shoulder. However, I've noticed she has been cutting my time especially today which she cut by 8 minutes. Mind you, she was 5 minutes late finishing up with a client before me. When she collected me from the waiting room, I entered the massage room at 4:05pm according to the digital clock prop against the wall. Before I got on the massage table though, I told her I need to use the restroom. Let me backtrack a little bit. While I was in the waiting room, a young girl had to use the restroom. This was around 4:00pm. The girl was still in the restroom when I needed to use it. All I could do was wait until she came out. By then, it was 4:08pm when I entered the massage room. Since I was face down when the therapist entered the room I didn't look at the clock again but I think she must entered the room at 4:10pm. When she told me the massage was over, I looked at the clock & it read 5:01pm. I thought, ha...this is even worse compared to the last session where she ended it the session by 4 minutes. I thought "is this going to happen in my future massages" -- meaning not getting a full 60 - minute massage but getting charged for the full price? I decided to talk to the front desk about the time issue. I didn't want to talk to the therapist because she was on her way back to the massage room with a client. And I didn't want to embarrass her in front of a client. So I told the 2 ladies at the front desk what happened & Esther told me to hold on. She went to back area presumably to talk to the therapist & this is where it turned UGLY. ESTHER told me that the use the bathroom went into my one - hour massage time. WHAT!!!??? I explained that the girl who used the bathroom before me was in there for a quite some time & I didn't have a choice but to wait. I wondered why no one mentioned that using the bathroom cuts into the massage time? Esther told me that the therapist will make up the difference on the next session. I told her all the wonderful massage therapy I just received was wasted. Now, I am stressed! She told me to wait while she spoke to the doctor. The kind doctor decided to give me a discount which I appreciated but this was all unnecessary if the therapist gave me a full hour massage. What really irritated me was my encounter with Esther. I didn't appreciate the accusatory tone she used regarding my use of the bathroom. And her over talking me when I asked about the discount & anticipating my question before I finishing it with an unrelated answer. And the worst part: NO ONE APOLOGIZED. Against my better judgment, I booked another appointment for next month. I called later though to cancel. After my unpleasant experience with Esther & the therapist shortening my massage time, I don't think I will be enjoying future massages with her. I will take my business elsewhere. The irony is that they are in the business of wellbeing. Sorry Dr Mendoza. Love you but Esther at the front desk with her listening skills & attitude towards me & your therapist cheating me on my time not once but 2x is unacceptable. read more

Words can't describe how grateful I am for Dr. Mendoza. Came in a couple of years ago in 2019 for an injury that left me in a great deal of pain. Couldn't walk or sit upright. I came in absolutely miserable not knowing what to expect. Dr. Mendoza was kind, attentive, and caring. After my first adjustment, I walked out slightly taller and in less pain. I almost cried in relief as I slowly walked back to my car. After a few adjustments over the course of a couple of months, I felt almost back to normal. I came back during 2020 covid-19 lockdown due to another unrelated injury. Had gone to urgent care first bc the pain was unbearable, but was only prescribed painkillers and rest. After three months of misery, I made an appointment. My recovery was much slower than the previous one, but thanks to Dr. Mendoza, I was able to fully recover. I felt safe going to my appointments. Everyone wore a mask and social distancing was enforced. The rooms were sanitized before I came in and right after I left. Hand sanitizer was also provided. Plenty of street parking and the location is easy to find. Extremely grateful for the service. It is now 2021 and I feel great! Many thanks to Dr. Mendoza and his staff. "It cracks like a brittle old cracker"... Long story short, I came to see Dr. Mendoza after hurting my back, I went to his clinic feeling like a hundred, walking like turtle. He quickly diagnosed the cause of my problem after examining which part hurts and which..not so much... ...Lumbar sprain apparently, is the cause of this lower back aggravation. I am very careful regarding lifting and moving heavy objects, I'm usually very mindful of what could potentially hurt me, however, this instance proves to show that no matter how careful you are there will be those instance where things happen when you least expect it...big fat bummer. Dr. Mendoza I have to say does a very good job in adjusting and alleviating the pain and discomfort of those misaligned bones, behind those "crunch and cracking" during the process of adjustment, a sense of relief and comfort comes right after. He also gives very good advice as to what exercise, movements and diet can be beneficial for a speedy recovery. After several treatments although I'm still in recovery, he really helped me feel so much better than before. From Esther in the front office and his other staff to Dr. Mendoza himself, the mood is always geared to making the patient comfortable, relaxed, pain and stress-free. I called the office to inquire interested in making an appointment and seen on their list of ins carriers they accepted and seen that my ins and my boyfriend's ins was listed. I said yay, called them and explain that next week I was going on a road trip and had a pain issue. The receptionist took my ins info and said they will call me in about two days. I said great! It's been 6 days and a day before my road trip still no call back. I work in customer service for 17 years with a high volume of calls and transactions. To not able to call someone back is not acceptable. It already tells me they are not interested. read more

Referred to Dr. Mendoza from my family care specialist and so far had my first session this past sat and I am very satisfied. Got my back realigned and that relieved a lot of the lower back pain I was having. I work sitting down for 8 hrs plus a day Monday - Friday and that has contributed a lot to my neck, shoulder and lower back pain. Requesting to see a chiropractor was the last straw for me since it was affecting my everyday life, having to deal with migraines and not being able to sleep at night. I've been to a lot of chiropractors in my day and I'm rating this a 5 because Dr. M. is a genuine sweetheart & kind person. They are flexible with my schedule and can always get me in last minute. Totally HASSLE FREE! The massage therapist Crystal and Tina are absolutely amazing too! Great for medical, sports, or general relaxation massage! Regarding technique- I would rate him 4/5. In addition to my back slipping out about every other month and putting me out of commission for a week, I was experiencing neck pain and endless headaches that made sleeping difficult. Now, after Dr. Mendoza has made adjustments to my neck and back , no headaches and my back does not have that "vulnerable" feeling.
