We got carry out last night, and I was so disappointed. All we ordered was loaded potato skins, a spicy chicken sandwich, and chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo was ok, but the potato skins were clearly old. Like they had been sitting around at least all day. And the chicken sandwich was so dry and stringy on soggy white bread with a sad piece of lettuce. I honestly couldn't eat it and ended up trashing it which is very unlike me. I ordered delivery from Starters on a snowy day! They followed all of my special instructions and the food was tightly packaged. I ordered the steak bites (medium) and they were in fact the correct temperature, don't forget the zip sauce and extra seasoning. I also had the mini app sampler which was also very good. I didn't know what kind of egg roll was in the sampler but I was happily surprised to find out that it was corned beef. I needed some outside time so I decided to check out the new addition to the Starter family. Upon arrival the hostess was very nice and accommodating, she immediately assisted me with a table but I eventually found seats at the bar which I had preferred. This location is in a strip mall but there is plenty of parking in the front and the rear. The set up is nice, they did have limited seating due to Covid and all staff had on masks. I ordered an original margarita and had to send it back because it tasted funny and I switched it for a Pineapple Marga-Vita which was really good despite that it didn't have the pineapples in it like they do at the Detroit location. The bartender was very nice and on point with the drinks. They unfortunately were out of Corona and Stella beers but the good lamb chops and the fried shrimp with the boom boom sauce made up for it. I didn't order an entree just appetizers at this visit but Starter's is known for really good steaks so maybe next time I will really dive in! read more

I visited this location last Thursday after work with some friends. They arrived earlier than me and put out names on the list for a table and were told 30 minute wait. I arrived an hour after my friends and they were still waiting on a table. We were finally sat at a table over an hour later. This location is small and located in a strip mall. We were sat at a booth. Honestly, there was no social distancing going on. Every single table was occupied and bar was packed with folks crowded around bar. I felt very uncomfortable. The only Covid-19 precaution I witnessed was once you downloaded menu, they requested your information for trace contacting. The waitresses wore masks but many of the patrons crowded around bar and those walking around did not have their masks on. I ordered a drink (it was jack honey and cranberry some drink they had on menu) it wasn't good. To eat I ordered off happy hour menu (they have a decent selection of food and drinks). I ordered catfish bites and potato skins. They food was straight. Apparently their Tito vodka machine was down so my friends had to change their happy hour drink orders. They ordered dinner entrées which included: a cheeseburger ( pre made patty and my friend said it was extra dry) and a catfish dinner ( this friend enjoyed her food). Entrees come with their freshly baked rolls (never knew this bc I NEVER ORDER ENTRÉES. I only come here for happy hour and on friends suggestions). The rolls were good but too much butter on them (think Bosco sticks). This was a typical Starters experience.
