Loved, loved, loved the food, service and prices! The food was amazing! Good ol' down home cooking and large servings! I had fried chicken and French toast (subbed for the waffle). Yummy! We had at our table catfish, an omelette, coney dog, fries with bacon and cheese, and Big breakfast meal that included ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast! It was all good! There were 5 pages of menu choices' The service was fantastic. Our server was very nice. They don't serve cold tea so she offered to make me some hot tea and put ice in it. This was a nice gesture. The prices were unbelievable for all the food we got. The dishes were under $10! It is a little, old, diner kind of place, but well worth it. We stumbled upon it while traveling, but it will be a go to when we go back to Detroit!

The food tastes pretty good but they seem to get a lil slick in meat portion. Watch this... Bam I was eating a cole slaw sandwich for a while l.

The atmosphere and vibes from the restaurant and staff were great! The food and drinks were fantastic: we had items ranging from burgers (the 3am burger is a local favorite and for good reason) & fries to pizza and onion rings and even a surprise birthday dessert they included at the very end. Also want to include the amazing service as well from our waitress Kelly. She went above and beyond to help and make sure our group, which was about 9+ along with two babies, were doing well and everything was made to order. She helped up kick off the memorial weekend on a great note and I know we'll all be coming back very soon!

Tonight I paid attention and all was right in my world. It's jarring when I don't. Still, throw up a yellow piece of tape or something. This is not drunk or wheelchair friendly. I wasn't either yet, so the coast was clear. We sat at the bar and it was vino for bestie- a malbec and a black cherry bourbon cola slushy and agua for me. Mike was our bartender / server and he made sparkling conversation like we were old friends. He just got back from Vegas. He went to Chinatown. Love it! The atmosphere is a light wood, sports bar feel, the tvs were closed captioned, and the menus had QR codes. There was a $30 ancho salmon on the menu. It came with my choice of side. I opted for the Greek salad. She got French onion soup and quinoa salad. Let's talk about my meal and why I'm giving 5 stars despite the whole front step thing. The salmon was perfect. It has a crispy red speckled exterior that was slightly spicy and very savory. Inside it was perfectly cooked and moist. It was just a bit less than an inch thick and pieces flaked off on my fork easily. There was no fishiness and I ate the crisp skin, which I never do usually with salmon. It was divine. It came with a side. The Greek side salad took up half my plate and it was piled high with a truly interesting and thoughtful array of quirky bites. It was weird for sure- but it worked. Picture a Greek salad in your mind. Ok this is not that. It had the usual crunchy lettuce with a light and tangy Greek dressing. There were vibrant and sweet red onions and feta. And then it got wild. There were crunchy pickled beets, roasted tomatoes that tasted like basil, sweet jalapenos, (Yes- you read that right!) crunchy fried garbanzos that tasted like Indian spices... It was the strangest and most deliberately delicious Greek salad I've ever had. I'm not a salad person. At all. This was the star of the show, but that salmon was stiff competition. Together, the meal sang. You have no idea the gratitude that swept over me after having that nursing home salmon at Red Robin for my birthday. I have been vindicated. This is the salmon I was meant to have. This is the salmon I deserve. I can now return to Las Vegas satisfied that Michigan did show up in a big way for me today. Thanks Vincetta Garage and Mike! Five stars! Fix your step.

The catfish was hot...so hot in fact that the very light and crispy batter turned soggy underneath almost instantly because it was served directly from the grease with no cooling time to prevent the steam from degrading the crispy texture. The salmon was deep fried, but tasty and well worth it. One word of caution though...there is a mandatory 18 percent gratuity automatically added to your bill with no warning or postings in the restaurant. I don't know if it applies to carry out...but be warned if you bring a group of more than two or are planning a tasting menu for a couple...be prepared for that little technicality. Our server was attentive, the ambiance gives Detroit diner and the food was not bad.

I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled cheese eggs, turkey bacon, potatoes and added pancakes. Everything was good and very flavorful. I also enjoy the chicken and waffles with chicken strips instead of chicken wings (I'm not a fave of the chicken wings because I don't like my meat and bone that looks dark) service is the best she can do because it's usually just her taking care the front of the house. The ambiance is okay it's small but nothing bad. They do added on gratuity on all orders rather it's carry out or dine in. But check them out whenever in the Detroit area. Definitely a hidden gem

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!
