In fact you have to call them at the gate that surrounds the building. They only do curbside drop off of your equipment which I thought was odd. I spoke to the guy and stated that it was an old unit and did he really think he could repair my unit. He stated that was "what they do" and only if the customer doesn't want to invest in the repair is generally when they don't repair the unit. I didn't want to pay the $125 charge up front and only $50 would be applied to the repair after the diagnostics. He emphasized that they had been in business for 30 years so I decided to leave my unit. About 3 WEEKS later he calls and says that the parts aren't available and if he got a used unit with parts that it probably would not be worth it. I was willing to pay what was needed to get it repaired. I would NEVER recommend this company, I wish I had followed my first thoughts and declined his services. I just feel that I was ripped off. These NEGATIVE reviews are real. They probably can do some repairs on various units, but I wouldn't trust them as a best practice.

This review is for the solid transparency and professionalism of the staff. I have a cracked screen on my 2023 Samsung Galaxy. I kept the phone because it wasn't worth turning in when I got a new one, and I figured I could always have it as a back-up. Unfortunately to repair would have been over $300 which is just not worth it for me at the moment. The tech I spoke to took his time to inform me of my options. Apparently the price is because they are Samsung- quality certified which does give peace-of-mind. I came on a week-day and they told me they wouldn not be able to provide same day service because they were so busy, but to come back when they had more staff on the weekend. I appreciated the transparency!! Other things to note: There is plenty of parking and it is free for a short amount of time. They do sell a small selection of phone accessories like screen protectors and cases.

This is a lovely little cell phone store right next to my gym, which offers very cheap service and pretty decent prices on repairs and accessories and whatnot. It's definitely cheaper than the likes of a Verizon store or not. I think they offered Cricket last time I checked, but in general it's a good little store for a low-income area and exactly what the area needs. And the fact that it's 30 seconds walk from the door of my gym makes it even better.

My ps5 scuf control has been having stick drift for about 5 months now and it finally became too unbearable. Instead of sending it in to scuf and paying approx $100-150 after them having the controller for over 6-8 weeks, I was more than happy that Robert was able to fix the stick drift for more than half that price and same day. He replaced my joysticks with TMR joysticks which will be incredibly less prone to get stick drift and even it does, I can recalibrate the joystick magnets to fix the stick drift myself. I always respect Robert's business and the knowledge he has. I will always recommend him to solve to your problem.

So that's what I did - set up the repair online. Went in to drop it off. They had all the details already in their system so I just had to confirm a few details and drop off was super easy. When it was ready I got an email and a text. The text said you could respond to it but it didn't seem to be monitored because I did try to reply to ask how late they were open. But did go in to pick it up a few days later. They were super nice and again it was super easy he looked me up, got my device and emailed a receipt. The work had a one year warranty so that's cool. Or I think that's what he said. Anywya all super easy and nice. I had this warranty plan for over a year at $27 a month and never used it but now that I know how easy and fast and stuff I am so excited. I also never knew these uBreakiFix stores were legit because you see so many similar places around but highly professional and really great experience.

Tried to get a liquid metal replacement and cleaning on a overheating PlayStation 5, employee said…read moreit would take 2-5 business days. After a week I called for an update and was told they were still waiting for the liquid metal shipment to arrive at the store. Another week and another call later they said the same thing with no hard date about when it would be there, saying it'd be another week or two. Possibly a month long wait for a repair when I was quoted 5 days, if the shipment truly takes that long I should be informed of this the day I came to drop it off, or it should've been reflected in the initial quote. I asked if the console had at least been cleaned and was told yes. I then decided to just pick the console up and get the liquid metal replacement done elsewhere. When I came to the store, it appeared as though the outside shell of the console had been wiped down with a rag or something, while the inside of the console was very clearly still dirty. The employee than graciously decided to not charge me for the "cleaning". 2 weeks later, and I was in the exact same spot as I was when I walked into the store for the first time and was told the wait was 2-5 days, rough. The other place I went to get it also charged less for both services and got both done the same day, if you're looking for console repair id look elsewhere than here.
