When I arrived, I mentioned that I had received a $20 coupon sent to me online this morning. I mentioned it a couple of times. They escorted me to the waiting area and said OK. After the service was completed, I presented the coupon which they would not take. He did offer me $15 off instead. He said their store did not participate with that ad. He did offer to give me $5 in cash. The point was I mentioned it, and they never said they wouldn't accept the coupon. jiffy lube is my favorite place to get my oil change because of their top off policy - get a free top off within 3,000 miles of your last oil change at the location you got the oil change at. I used to frequent the Sherman Oaks location often, but since I moved I needed a new location. This one was located on the corner of victory and olive. The service was excellent! Alexis was great! Looked at all the things - tire pressure, air filters, oil levels and wipers. Used a coupon that I found on the jiffy lube website for $15 off. Paid about $100 for my oil change. I came to this location because it was the closest Jiffy Lube near me at the time. There was no line, so I was seen quickly for an oil change. However, I felt rushed - comments below: They did my oil change, great. Another gentleman cleaned my windshield and put air in my tires. Showed me the engine filter was fine, offered to check my cabin filter, which I refused. I think the level of customer service wasn't fully there. My idea of a 5/5 experience at Jiffy Lube is where they walk you through a list of recommendations for your vehicle. I had all intentions of purchasing whatever was recommended at this visit, since my last jiffy lube visit I was told to get something done at my next visit. I wasn't shown that new oil was placed, because I'm used to them showing me the stick that has new oil. I left there wondering if new oil was actually put in. Jiffy Lube, in the past, has even gone above and beyond and reset my setting in my car so that the message that maintenance was required was removed. Giving out 3 stars because of what my expectations of a 5/5 experience is based off. I feel like this location missed out on a sales opportunity to increase revenue. read more

This place absolutely sucks. Management is condescending and talks in circles, constantly deflecting and not owning up to mistakes. The most dishonest and slimey place. If you need work done in Burbank, go to Gregs tune up, if you need work done outside of LA, go literally any where except Jiffy Lube. I talked to one worker who actually treated me like a human being. I feel bad for him having to work under such a toxic, grimey, and crooked boss. They essentially put a band aid on a bullet wound and then told me to go to a mechanic, for a mistake THEY made during my last oil change. Even the Los Feliz location told me that the Burbank location should fix the damage they did. But instead the manager deflected all of my issues that he should've been fixing or refunding. Great value for change oil package. On top of replacing oil and oil filter, it checked all fluid levels and topped up the windshield washer fluid. for the additional coolant they were charging extra. For some reason, they did not check the air filter and cabin filter. They did a battery test and used a strip to test condition of the brake fluid. They also checked the tire pressure, the wiper blades and all the light bulbs. read more

I almost never leave negative reviews -- this is actually my first -- but this experience really upset me. I went in for a simple oil change and was told they couldn't remove the oil filter cap, so they couldn't perform the service. Then I was told my car was "burning oil" and that I shouldn't be driving it. That genuinely scared me. I immediately took the car to a mechanic for a second opinion. He removed the cap in about two seconds and confirmed nothing was wrong with my car. He explained Toyotas can naturally burn a small amount of oil and that it was completely safe to drive. What bothers me is how confidently I was told something serious was wrong when it wasn't. Customers shouldn't be frightened into unnecessary worry -- especially over incorrect information. On top of that, the price quote was $117 for just the oil change, and I was told I already needed three additional services bringing the total to well over $200. My mechanic completed the oil change and those same items for a fraction of the cost. This felt misleading and unnecessarily alarming. I hope management addresses this because people trust professionals not to scare them into services they don't actually need. read more

The greeter was honest and straightforward in what they can and can't do (CAN: fluids // filters // rotate and fill tires // .. CAN'T: patch tires // replace tires) .. OIL CHANGE -- WITH COUPON good rate; make sure you have coupon -- took about 20 minutes including talking with them to see what else they could offer -- EXCELLENT GRADE of oil available, equiv to dealerships'. Alll types explained, my choice as to which way to go .. I used the premium. DON'T PUSH - The brilliantly knowledgeable CSA "Eileen" showed me my filters and explained what all my flashing lights on the dashboard meant ;D ..I knew, but I was impressed she knew my old car's specific requirements w/o looking it up. AND she listened to my budget needs, didn't push. I loved that. She then educated and told me the parameters I'm working with if I didn't do the filter changes there. FREE FLUID // AIR IN TIRE UPKEEP!!! - Up to 3000 miles from day of service , you can just drive thru to get your OIL / WASHER FLUID / TIRES topped-off .. no limit up to 3,000...
