Knowledgeable about Einstein's scheduling, discussed what I needed and what was unnecessary or not ab. She got my name/number and basically all the information from me that was needed to put together a fair quote. Alex called me back within a couple of hours and confirmed all the information I had given to Joanna. Alex provided the cost to relocate my mother from BACLIFF to Crosby (about 1 hr drive time). He explained what I could expect from the crew and what were the expectations of me. Come Tuesday, Moving Day. We were ready! Einstein Crew of 2 showed and went straight to work. Really did not have too much left to move, but what we had left; was big, bulky, heavy, old, fragile and very sentimental which included 60+- packed boxes of two very old table lamps sent from Cuba, china, crystal and silver dinnerware service for 12; my Daddy sent from Japan to Mom as a wedding gift in 1953. They married when came in on short leave and all the china, crystal and silver are all in wedding photos. So... we still enjoy Daddy's gifts when we are all together and we set a place for him wishing he were there. Our haul may not have been as large as most, however it very important to our Mom that everything arrived in one piece... which it did! Our movers were Shawn and Joshua... they both came from good families. I will be using them again for future moves... hope and pray not anytime soon. They were a bit more expensive, but worth it. We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.
