Review For Produce Department " Felicia ".! July 3/2026 Time we visited: 2:00-2:30 PM Excellent customer Service. Felicia went above and beyond for us.!! Felicia was busy putting out fruit trays, and I saw an employee behind the fruit counter shopping up fruit, he was so busy too. I asked are you out of corn ?. Felecia said we have a big stand in the front of the store and I said oh we never saw the stand of corn. Felecia said I have a BIG Fresh box in the back and I will bring it out for you. Felicia didn't just bring the box of corn out and place it in the Ben, she brought it to us on a big cart and Sette pick what you want. We said thank you and we picked five years and they were beautiful and big and fat so nice of her to go out of her way to take care of us and I greatly appreciate that. I had just left Class One Donut with a box of donuts and a bag of croissants and Beyond Bowls & Blends with a couple drinks. I had a 15 minutes walk back to my car. I didn't want to drop my goods. I saw Stater Brothers and an AHA moment hit me! I needed a tote bag. I didn't want to waste time looking for a tote bag. I asked the first staff member I saw. Very nice lady staff was kind to help me. She stepped away from her cash register to help me find it. Now that's above and beyond service. Luckily, the totes were near the cashier area. Thank you so much Miss for your help! Two simple bag designs for $1.49 per bag or one sturdy red Stater Brothers brand tote bag for $9+. The cheaper bag did the job and that's what I got. Got in line and paid for my bag. I didn't get a chance to walk around the store. Based on what I can tell, it was very clean and organized. It's the meat that made them famous!! Rudy works the full service butcher counter and I have to say every time I am lucky enough to have him help me it drives home why I shop here. He goes above and beyond for customers and he has the best attitude towards his work, life and the needs of his customers. Stater Bros butchers will cut it, grind it, season it or anything else requested free of charge! The new remodel is very nice and you can now get fresh sushi, baked items, sandwiches and deli products. The management team and cashiers are top notch too. Amir did not have any, but said he would stop what he was doing and put bananas out immediately. It would take about 5 minutes, but then he'd have some boxes for me. Julian assisted me today and I want to recognize him for his great customer service. I interrupted him mopping and he didn't hesitate to help me. I couldn't find the 70% dark chocolate bars. Julian told me the candy is on isle 6 and then walked me to the aisle and pointed out the chocolate. Julian was pleasant and went over and beyond to make my shopping experience quick and convenient. SERVICE in my experience, the service here is that of hometown attentiveness. In a world that's so corrupt and full of angry people, it's always lovely walking into this supermarket. Due to a brain injury and extreme fatigue, I have needed the assistance of various employees here and they have never made me feel less than or a nuisance to them. The staff here always goes above and beyond! AMBIANCE While it's not one of the newly remodeled locations, it always looks clean and very well organized. FOOD Their produce has always been top-notch in freshness, quality, and variety! From Carnivore to my Latin foods, and my baked goods, I could always find what I need. This is my favorite grocery store for the most delicious broccoli, bibigo wantons/dumplings and fresh fruits! I love the fresh vegetables here including Bok choy, Chayote, Bitter gourd, organic broccoli, organic apples, tomatoes, potatoes and all the other items. There is a big picture of the store manager at the entrance to the store and it says " We are so glad you are here!" This is such a unique message to welcome the clients. I am glad to have found some delicious blood oranges, cosmic crisp apples and tangerines. The store is very clean and well-organized and the associates are very helpful and friendly. Clients can also enjoy some tasty sushi in the store. I've met many friends here in the store within the past 6 months and it shows how popular the store is. I recommend this Stater Brothers for the wonderful customer service and the fresh groceries! read more

I just want express my admiration for the employees of this market they are professional and courteous and the store is always clean and ordrley. One such employee is a cashier by the name of Ms.Montez who during her busy day took the time to listen to old man about losing his phone (me) the night before. She checked all the usual places but it was not there,But said she would keep an eye out for it, and to call back later in the day. So though I gave up hope of finding it, I decided place some trust in her advice & called her back at the end of the day. Bingo, ms. Montez said my phone was found & to come in to pick it up, when I offered her a tip for finding it, she turned it down & thanked me for being a good customer. I have been shopping at this location for years and have always had such a positive experience, up until lately. While the recent remodel looks amazing, the store always seems to be understaffed these days! The line is always lengthy and takes such a long time to get through because there aren't enough cashiers. On top of this, there are almost never baggers anymore, so the cashiers do it themselves, making the line take even longer. I love this store, but have been left disappointed lately. read more

The greatest asset of this store is a worker Garett because he is so helpful and kind. I looked forward to my stops here while in school, he always walked me to the aisle I need. The reason for my rating is because from 5:00p.m- 11:00 pm the store at times has had me wait longer than most stores because they tend to leave only one line open and I've found that to be a problem at this store. It's inconsistent, definitely don't recommend coming at these times! read more

It's time for an update. I'm going to go ahead and give this location another star. They brought back the items they stopped carrying during the pandemic such as my PLAX dental rinse and Schilling spaghetti sauce packets. Management has been making a good effort to keep pricing competitive. Stater Bros. is less expensive than the competitors for all of my basic staples. Management has improved. I am starting to see my favorite checkers again with the good customer service skills rather than the younger less friendly checkers. I still liked it better when the bread was closer to the dairy section in the front corner of the store rather than on aisle 7. The layout isn't quite as nice as it was during pre-pandemic times, but that's a minor complaint. That said, I still like this Stater Bros. the best out of all of the other locations. Now that they lowered their prices since the supply shortages and craziness of 2022, I'm excited to shop here more often! read more

I have to say I love Stater Brothers Glendora! Everytime I have a Christmas Party I ask the meat department to cut my roast in 1 inch pieces so my elderly family are able to enjoy the stew. They always give me service with a smile! The butter was on sale, so I asked if they had butter in the back...she said let me check...she brought it out to me with a smile! Other stores usually say "if it is not out, we don't have it". I did not have to go through a self check out either. When I walk through the store, employees greet me. IT is such a blessing to have a store that still cares about the quality of their products and especially their amazing customer service. ! Honestly it was like going back in time! thank you for seeming to enforce the no pets policy (true service animals exempt) Besides the hygiene aspect it was becoming like shopping in a kennel when multiple dogs would start barking at people and other dogs. I stopped going for a while. Recently I saw a man walk out with a very large dog , required him to exercise a lot of effort to maintain the dog close to him. it was excited and pulling this way and that. I didn't see anyone speak to him but seeing him exit without items in between checkout lines I tend to think he was reminded. Thank you! read more

Came here a few days ago to purchase some cuties (those small little easy to peel oranges or clementines) because this was on my way home. I was surprised to find that the price for a small 3 pound bag was priced at $5.99, when I was just at Ralph's the other day and a 5 pound bag was on sale for $5.99. Since the price was quite high, I decided to just buy a small bag of oranges for $2.99. When I walked over to check out, the male cashier (looked like he was either in high school or beginning of college... as most employees at all Stater Bros Markets that I have been to seem to have employees working the cashier around this age) just plain out ignored me when I said hello and just proceeded with the transaction. Overall, was a little surprised that the customer service here was pretty poor, especially since I have always received pretty friendly service at other Stater Bros. I would probably not come back to this location. This store is located in a plaza that shares it with Hungry Howie's Pizza, Starbucks & Zuzu Chicken. There is plenty of parking in the lot as well. read more

I try to avoid going to this store if possible, but sometimes I need to grab an item or two quickly. NOT. You can't get in and out of there easily. Love it when there are all of ten people shopping in the store and seven of them are in line for the one check-stand that's open. And then . . . Hooray! They open a second, "Quick Shop 15 items or less" line but allow people with piled up carts and 50 items to fill that line. Meanwhile, those of us (several) with 1-4 items WAIT and WAIT. SERIOUSLY? Did you all not get the memo that online and delivery shopping services are going to force the shut down or size down of inefficient stores like Stater Bros? Time is money, folks. I've shopped at this Stater Bros. for 20 years and in the past month I have seen a huge improvement in the look of the store and customer service. I see stock pulled forward on the shelves. It's neat and clean. The manager or assistant manager are out and about. Today the manager opened up a check stand two people were waiting. In the past the checker would call for help and often it went unanswered. Not anymore! It's a pleasure to shop here. There's a totally different vibe. read more

"Home" is really not really a place, its a feeling and I have been fortunate enough to have a grocery store that has made me feel like I am home. The service at this market is amazing. The employees are kind, caring and never too busy to just ask "how is your day?" I am from an island where fruits are plenty and the fruits at this market are sweet and delicious. One cashier (Peter) is one that my husband, daughter, and I run to if we are in a hurry and need something. He goes out of his way to be kind to all there. I prefer the Stater Bros in Covina Blvd and Grand in Covina. The one in Glendora is not so friendly one female checker in particular. Hispanic girl with dyed hair. RUDE!!! This has to be one of the least friendly establishments I have been to. I have been in customer service for a long time. I am always shocked when people are not just not friendly but rather down right rude. I almost never get greeted at the register. I have to initiate the greeting and it is usually met by unfriendly grumblings. A few occasions my "hello" has been completely ignored. One time I decided not to say anything and see what happens. The cashier didn't say one single word to me, even as they handed me my receipt. I am pretty easy going but it was ridiculous. I am trying to figure out how the heck this place could be given $$$ dollar signs? Compared to Vons and Ralphs, this place is cheap! My family has shopped here for years and its no wonder: they are affordable! Although this place isn't hip, or posh, like the others, you get what you need and leave. The organization does confuse me a bit, but I manage to manuver quite well. The meat always looks fresh when I stop by the meat counter and I like that they have a variety of brands that suit your budget. The produce is nice and the place is always clean. I love the staff here. They are very friendly and always super nice to my young children. I find the prices to be at least competitive. They have a good selection and I really like the butcher counter...again, more nice people and good service. Having shopped at both Ralph's and Stater''s, I actually think Stater's is slightly more reasonably priced. I agree with John P below in that there's almost always someone in front of the store asking for money but 90% of the time I've found that it was a legit charity and not just some dirtbag off the street asking for cash. If you want a bit better selection, slightly higher prices, don't need a great butcher counter and don't think super-friendly service is essential, go to Ralph's. The San Dimas Ralph's location is fine and I go there from time to time. They're nice enough but not super-nice like the Stater Bros staff. If you want extra-friendly service (but not in a creepy Jersey Mike's kinda way) and a great butcher, check out this Stater Bros. I love 'em. read more

This grocery store has a nice layout and things are easy to find. It's not super large like some stores so it takes forever to find anything. The lines move along without lots and lots of waiting, unlike one of their competitors. The prices are good and the floors are the cleanest floors anywhere. In fact, the whole market is clean and has a friendly staff. read more

The Skinny: It's a market. Okay prices, friendly staff, clean aisles. The Fat: The prices are not cheaper than ethnic markets, but are cheaper than Ralphs or Albertsons. I swear, I must of seen like, six markets on Alosta! Stater Bro's is alright in prices and this one's quite clean.
