I do an online pickup every week and they have the most inept people doing these orders. They forget to give you stuff, can't seem to use any common sense in substitutions and are not the smartest people. They say they are out of stuff but you go in yourself and find the items you are looking for. The managers aren't very smart either with a sheepish ol' shucks, sorry attitude. I have a problem every time I order and I wish somebody would train these employees on how to do their job properly. I love this store, me and my family have been going here for a very long time now. I haven't had any bad experiences here until today. While I was checking out at the store today I was asked by the employee if I wanted to make a donation for children's cancer. I love making donations anytime I can, but today I unfortunately wasn't able to. When I answered "I'm sorry but I can't today" the employee went silent, then decided to make a very uncomforting and rude remark that he was going to "tell the cancer patients tonight why I chose not to donate". Normally I would take something like that as a joke but considering he had no smile on his face and wasn't laughing, I took it seriously. There was no conversation after that, I walked out feeling very uncomfortable and very upset. I'll check who's at the register next time to make sure it doesn't happen again. read more

I really like how they have the store organized. I saw the manager straightening shelves both trips I made in the same day. The staff is like taking a trip back in time. They are so nice and so helpful and incredibly polite! It was very nice to see even the check out communicate with view people going through the line but still moving it along. It was a very pleasant experience that I was absolutely wanting to leave them a fantastic review! I really wish that we saw more of this humanity. Always my go to store, it is very close to my house. It is clean, very well stocked and the employees are very friendly. Anything I need or any ingredient I am missing, I run to stater bros. It always has great prices beats having to drive to different stores to purchase groceries. I also really like the fact that they have organic fruits and vegetables. The meat is great as well very fresh... doesn't look like it has been in and out of the freezer. My husband likes picking up hot food from here when we both have had a long day... the fried chicken is great! read more

Today I returned to Stater Bros. as three days ago I had purchased some chicken and sausages from the butcher. Within two days I noticed my refrigerator was smelling and I had unfortunately purchased some spoiled and rotten chicken. I walked in and asked to speak to the manager. Joe met me and was beyond courteous and apologetic for the experience I had and was determined to make it right. In a world where Customer Service hardly exists anymore, I was beyond grateful for the way I was treated, especially since my family does a lot of grocery shopping at this store. Once again, the staff at this store deliver awesome customer service. This time, I had an unexpected delivery change at my home that was last minute. Jessie understood the problematic issue with the delivery service and spent a lengthy amount of time finding the solution needed. In spite of the fact that I caused the logistic problem for the store, Jessie was patient and very cordial with his demeanor to address the situation with the eventual solution. This grocery store doesn't exist where I live in Northern California. I wouldn't complain if it did. This place reminds me of a Southern California version of Nob Hill. It was very tidy and immaculate. Nothing appeared out of place. Very well lit and inviting. It wasn't too crowded on a Saturday. They were fully staffed at all stations (meats, deli, bakery, register). One huge plus... There were 7 registers open!!! Zero lines!! More cashiers than customers - that's how it should be. read more

I was surprised to see I hadn't reviewed this store before now. I've been their biggest fan since the day they opened!! 1.) BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the area, by far!!! They always have people on the floor to help and anyone can answer your question or get it answered. 2.) Best produce department in the area. The workers are always knowledgeable, helpful and the produce is great! 3.) the bakery is definitely the best tasting bakery around. Check your order because it's not always right but with excellent customer service it all comes out perfectly and delicious. 4.) the meat department just can't be beat. Period. Try the applewood bacon. 5.) floral department and deli are equal to other stores, if not better. 6.) cashiers and baggers are friendly, knowledgeable and competent. what the heck stater bros! last few times i've been in this store, there has only been two lines open during the lunch rush. You would think during one of the busiest times of the day you would have more lines open. Also, what the heck is wrong with never having any inventory stocked up. I came in at 7am to purchase a money order, I went over to check stand 5 to see if it was open and of course during early morning hours there's hardly anyone working. I went over to the only check stand open and asked a very unhelpful tall white guy and a rude dark haired gentleman with glasses if there was anyone available to help with money gram services. At this point the taller guy shrugs his shoulders as in "idk" and the guy with glasses says "uuummmmm.... (Pause) we don't have anyone no..... (pause) " as if I was causing him some sort of inconvenience to ask him a question at his workplace where he's getting paid to be. So at this point I'm under the impression that no they won't have anyone at all and I ask "do you know what time someone will maybe be available?" At this point the guy with glasses seems super annoyed and he's like maybe within the next few mins? Please train your staff properly. His response made him sound like an idiot. Then I called and it sounded like the store manager or some sort of supervisor answered, he apparently didn't know either so guess what?! They put that guy on the phone AGAIN and he continues to be rude. Please no. Just train him better. He has a bad attitude. Just do your job. read more

Im beyond upset. Firstly I understand the world is in a panic and uproar during this Coronavirus situation. We need to work together and show support as we are all going through This together. This shouldn't excuse DISRESPECTFUL behavior from people that work there. I couldn't even call to complain to the Manager as their phone lines are not open to the public apparently. I just left the store express line and dealt with Ruby P. I stood far enough away from the customer infront of me, yet Ruby felt the need to single me out and told me "please move further back" as if I wasnt in the first place. Im sorry I truly felt she was being racist cause I was Asian. The customer infront of me had stood the same distance away as the customer infront of her prior...how come she didnt say anything to the customer infront of me? This is unacceptable! This virus is scary enough but if you are going be rude and single out people, I think its time to stay home and not come into work anymore. Not only am I scared myself being in the grocery store to begin with, I shouldnt have to deal with racism ontop of that and shouldnt have to leave feeling like crap either. Overall my experience is always good here except for the deli/ fried chicken area. The store is clean and organized, friendly staff, short lines, but I often have the same experience every time I visit the deli/ fried chicken area. There isn't any chicken available and instead of being nicely told that they can make more they say there's no chicken and I ask if they can make more to which they reply with hesitation yes, but you have to wait and I reply that's fine. They never offer to make more I have to ask if they can make more. They then say 15 minute wait, to which I say is fine. I always get the sense that they don't want to do it, that they want me to say never mind. There have been instances I left and went elsewhere due to feeling like it's an inconvenience or they are taking longer than expected. I've been to other stater bros and chicken is always available and if not they let me know more is coming. I decided to leave a review this time because this continues to happen. When I went to the deli and asked for chicken the gentleman said he would give me some if he had some but he didn't. So I asked if he could make more. A customer next to me said they are about to make some right now she had just ordered some. I said thank you I can wait for it. After about 5 minutes or so that customer shopped and I waited. She returned about 10-15 minutes later and we both patiently waited for the chicken. A few minutes pass and she tells me that the lady is just now putting the chicken in the fryer. we couldn't understand why it took 20 minutes to put the chicken in. That customer described not having a pleasant experience telling me that when she asked for chicken she heard the lady tell the gentleman that she couldn't make the chicken because she was making a sandwich. She said the girl didn't seem to care to make anymore chicken. We finally got our chicken about 40-45 minutes after we ordered it. I ended up getting some of the chicken that was sitting there the entire 40 minutes mixed in with the fresh chicken, but I didn't mind I was happy the chicken was ready. We love the chicken and don't mind a short wait for it, but I am posting this review in hopes that the manager reads it so the manager can be aware. Overall I love stater bros they have great meat and produce and love the chicken so I don't want to give a bad review for this experience, although it is constant in this deli area this has been the worse. read more

I have been shopping at Stater Brothers for over 50yrs.... I have always had the best service and selection of food items.. I really feel like I'm shopping at my family store..Why because they make you feel like family. The moment that I enter the store. I am greeted with a smile and sometimes a big hug..Four generations shop at Staters Brothers..My father myself my daughter and of course my grandson ...He is almost 4yrs old..We would make extra trips when my daughter was pregnant with him..And everyone remembers..shopping at my local Staters Brothers is the best!!especially during the holidays..Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's!!!just thinking about it makes my heart warm..Well the best secret is Deli and Bakery department!! You can go online or go directly to the store and order party platters!! I just celebrated 50yrs employment with a well known airline and had Stater Brothers catered my party..One of best suggestions that my daughter has ever given me! She orders from Staters Brothers for her business meetings.. A large variety of items and they taste sooo good!!!And again they have one of the best customer service ever!!!Stater Brothers I will definitely be ordering for the holidays and business meetings and birthdays celebrations!!!It doesn't surprise me that your company has been in business since 1936....Good ole hometown values!! read more

My 85 year old mother Purchased Apple Gift Cards from this store for her grandchildren. The Manager Jarred was very accommodating on our fist visit to try and resolve the issue. We Contacted Apple as instructed and the local law authorities due to $ amount involved in the dispute. Jarred response to our findings after discussing the issue with Apple was beyond unacceptable. Apple is researching the issue. Needless to say Jarred claims he contacted corporate about the issue and told my mother in other words to suck it up. Needless to say, this is totally unacceptable and I will pursue all means legal or other for a remedy. read more

Just today i was going into the store and happen to notice a wonderful employee (Rachel)helping with getting a senior citizens car started. I shop at this Stater Bros. often and am always delighted by how sweet the employees are. The employees always appear to be in a good mood, even when it gets crazy busy! Whether it's the nice small talk, genuine smiles or how helpful they are, this is by far my favorite location. I have noticed a handful of times that when a customer has a lot of groceries, regardless of how old they are, the person bagging would ask if they would like some help out. I think that is so awesome. I don't think it's a requirement, but simply because it's obvious to them that someone may need help. Also, it hasn't happened consistently enough or with the same person. It was a different person each time within the span of the end of this year. Either way, it's a sweet gesture. Any time I've needed help, I've always been helped right away. I've never encountered an issue with anything. If I can't find what I'm looking for and someone is there, I've been approached to see if they could help me. The butcher gets busy at times and they are really good about helping whoever is next. This location is just the best one in my opinion! read more

Very surprising experience here. I am dealing with a very hard cancer diagnosis in my family. I was not a strict masker prior to that diagnosis. I went into this store wearing an N95 mask and received horrible treatment. There was a girl in the produce department who was stocking and I went up to to ask for help. She put her finger up and waved her finger in my face when I said excuse me and continued doing what she was doing and ignored me. She never came back over to help me find what I needed. The cashier was also cold and the entire interaction at this store felt uncomfortable. I went back over and walked past the produce girl to see the name on her badge because I was going to complain to a manager. I decided as much as my life sucks right now, I didn't feel like ruining someone else's... so I am settling for a Yelp review. read more

This store in wildomar has been my go to store.... the customer service has been superb.(i will just add that im a retired grocery clerk from a local competitor...35+years in the business, so i can say i know a little about the selling of groceries) 1. i was at check out counting my cash.apparently i had dropped a $20(and didnt realize it) they were able to locate the $ after janitor swept it up.went to video and within a few minutes they were handing my $ to me. Thank you to the honest janitor,helpful checker &the grocery manager that i hugged! 2. about a week later..went in needed a primerib roast asap because i decided late in day..what a great mid week dinner! well i needed a smaller roast because of length of cooking time,it was already 2pm.well Victoria In meat dept said we will take care of it for you...wow! how nice ! And then Tim in meat dept quickly cut & wrapped the perfect size roast.all with a smile. Paid for it(didnt drop any cash this time) and off i went..best darn roast and it was served in a timely manner at home.(thanks to all their TEAM work, including Jeff at checkout!) Today I stopped by my local Stater Brothers in Wildomar. I had tried to shop at a couple of other stores that I frequent and they were already out of many items needed for Thanksgiving dinner. Many of the shelves were under stocked or no stock at all. As I walked through this store this morning I was very pleasantly surprised to see aisle after aisle completely stocked top to bottom and all of the courtesy clerks in aisles adding even more stock. It is such a pleasure to shop here and this will be my go to from now on. Very courteous employees and the store is always very clean and well stocked. Thank you! read more
