I had the Lemon Pepper Shrimp special and I loved every bite, also had green beans and Mac & cheese, great choice for sure. Beans were not over salty and the Mac & cheese was the best I have had in a while. Not overly cheesy as some are. My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs two large homemade type. She loved it and I was fortunate to finish it off. She also had a salad with freshly made ranch dressing. The she had the sugar free butter pecan ice cream which was to die for. The two waitresses are the bomb so very attentive and helpful always giving great suggestions. If you are near this town drive the extra distance to come here. Well worth the drive. They also take reservations on Thursday and Friday. Can you imagine that a dinner taking reservations. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED COMING HERE

They run out of pies throughout the day because they're not serving old pie here, but they're good and lots to choose from. Service = Very friendly. Sometimes a guy has questions, like "Why is there a log of cheese with my soup?" (even though it's awesome). But they answer in a friendly way. Restaurant = This place is busy, you will likely wait. Lots of seats, because apparently I'm not the only one that plans on going back after visiting. Clean and quick.

They close at 3pm, took our names at 2pm, and said it would be a 45 minute wait (which it was) but we didn't feel rushed once we were seated even though it was close to closing time. Our server was extremely friendly and great! Foodwise, we ordered the veggie quiche with a side of the house tomato basil soup and the bistro burger (bacon added) with a side of their soup of the day, cheesy potato. They have a variety of specialty coffee drinks but I chose to order the lightly sweetened peach tea for something different. My husband really enjoyed his burger and said it was well seasoned. He enjoyed the potato soup also and only wished they had fries to enjoy with the burger. My tomato basil soup was tasty! The quiche needed seasoning...I had to add salt and pepper and hot sauce and it could have done without all the extra cheese sprinkled on top. It came with a slice of blueberry bread though which was nice! The peach tea was refreshing as a change but I'd go with coffee next time. All in all we'd eat there again for sure and would try one of their delectable-looking pastries next time too. Thank you for a nice lunch, Rebecca's Bistro!

It's a big restaurant off of a country road with plenty of parking. As of two weeks ago they were doing work on the highway that was kind of unpleasant with grated roads and lane closures but it looks like it will be done soon maybe.... Anyway, it's a large space with a gift shop and shabby chic decor that all appeared to be for sale since everything has a price tag on it even in the restaurant. The service was pleasant enough. The menu has fairly straightforward cafe like offerings of sandwiches and salads. I wanted something light so I opted for the cesar salad in spite of my reservations when it said tomatoes and olives were on it. Weird but whatever chicken, lettuce, croutons and cesar dressing still felt on brand so I went for it. This is not a cesar salad. It was a salad with balsamic dressing of some kind, toasted bread with the crust cut off and a cold chicken breast. And, it comes with bread but I was told they didn't have rye so I ended up with sourdough that was also not sourdough and the waitperson didn't bring it until I was mostly through eating my refrigerator cold chicken. Just, yikes. Additionally, I still don't know how there was rye for my sister's sandwich but I wasn't allowed to order it with my food. As for her lunch, the pastrami was fine but with a lackluster amount of meat. The French onion soup was the only thing that felt reasonable with quality and price. All in all, I think the snack bars or even grocery stores in the area/ Amish country appeared to have better offerings. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch. The gift shop was cute and reasonably priced so maybe check it out for that but that's it.

We arrived around lunch time and it wasn't too busy. We had to seat ourselves because there was nobody in the front. Once we sat down, our waitress came to see if we wanted anything to drink which was nice. We ordered some bloody Mary's, sweat tea, hot chocolate, and waters. Our waitress came back a little bit to take our orders. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast, the Sliders, Combo meal which came with a slider and chicken tenders, Rueben sandwich, and the Club sandwich. Our drinks took a bit to get but finally came out and they were delicious. We received our food shortly after that as well. Chicken Fried Steak breakfast-was cooked good, sausage gravy was good, could use a little more seasonning. Eggs cooked perfect, and the toast was great. Sliders-Plenty of food, sliders were huge, the meat was cooked well, I could use med rare but it was still great. hash browns were also cooked perfect. Combo meal which came with a slider, chicken tenders, and tator tots-They all were cooked perfectly. Rueben sandwich-The flavor was good but the bread was a little soggy. Club sandwich-It was cooked perfect and plenty of tots. After our meal we ordered the Salty Caramel and the Chocolate Malt shakes. Both of those shakes were delicious and plenty of shake to drink. The ambience inside is a must see. The service could have been better because it did take some time to get our food and drinks. Overall the food was good and I would go back to try something else.
