In my 47 years in the real estate business, it's rare to come across an association manager who combines professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care the way she does. Joanne is always polite, responsive, and incredibly thorough. She returns calls quickly, communicates clearly, and goes above and beyond -- she even took the time to call me on a Saturday, which speaks volumes about her dedication and commitment to the community and the people she serves. She is an absolute delight to work with, and her attention to detail and calm, solution-oriented approach make every interaction smooth and stress-free. Silvergate Highlands is fortunate to have her, and I can confidently say she is one of the best association managers I've worked with in my career. Highly recommended.

Like cell phone roaming fees, such convenience fees are supposed to be a thing of the past and, with CAM they were, until recently; A new payment portal through a third party and...voilà...a new fee emerges. Your community residents deserve better. In 2026 online payment fees should be considered antiquated. *********************************************************** I'm editing my original review to respond to CAMs response. I think offering community members multiple ways to pay their HOA dues is great. What I find egregious is the discriminatory practice of singling out one of those methods with a processing fee. I've told one of your employees I'm simply not comfortable with any of those other methods and wish to continue to pay as I always have. It's the same way I pay all my bills and none of my other creditors see fit to charge me. CAM is the extraordinary exception. Anyway, I've made my case and I can only hope there are others who feel the same as me and will offer some pushback against, what I believe to be, a superfluous and unjust fee.

It's been over a month since We have emailed her (multiple times) I was transferred to her voicemail and it was full. Apparently she doesn't care enough to check them otherwise they wouldn't be full. Sure, maybe one day but multiple times I've called in and they're full. I finally talked an assistant manager that works their an her name is Mellie. She said that she does not work on this account and she didn't know very much about the HOA. I lost it an just went off on her. How do you work for a company and not know anything about the HOA.? Does matrix only employ dummies? I was completely fed up with not getting any help and I yelled at her. She was surprisingly kind to me and told me if I had the time that she would stay on the phone with me while she did the research to give me my answer and aid me with our account. It took her about ten minutes to help get me answers that Shawn still to this day hasn't answered. If you read this Mellie sorry for being so mean. Mellie also told me that even though she doesn't help out with our HOA that I can call back and ask for her or Shawns new assistant Rocky. I've talked with Rocky n he is fantastic. He's also helped me get answers also faster than goin through Shawn. Now if only the owner would get us a manger like rocky or mellie to have. I'm sure this company doesn't read these reviews based off of the lack of responses to people on here but clearly Shawn does not care about homeowners. Its disappointing when the assistants care more than the manager. Thanks to Mellie an Rocky for keeping a few of us over here happy and going the extra mile n stepping out of your job roles and helping elders. You 2 made the extra star.
