This review is long overdue. I took my Focus RS to get some performance mods done back in June and it was a wonderful experience. Sergio was super friendly and very informative from the moment I called him. A few days after I picked up the car, Kevin sent me some nice photos of the work being done to the vehicle which was really cool to see. This place is ran by some fantastic people! If you need your car to be prepped for a track day, Sergio will take care of all your needs.

The Status Auto team got my BMW M2 dialed in for track days with the installation of an upgraded intercooler, stainless steel brake lines, Akrapovic exhaust, camber plates, racing pads and suspension adjustment, alignment and corner balance. They are extremely knowledgeable about high performance cars and super nice people to boot. They even discovered an installation error on a suspension part that was installed by the dealership and fixed it for free! Highly recommended.

This place is underrated. The service here is top notch, everyone is super friendly and dedicated to their works. They did my tires, brake pads and rotors change, and sport springs installation for my Porsche Macan S. They equipped with all the high-end equipment, so I can guarantee your car is in good hands. John, Sergio and Kevin are just awesome! I've taken both my BMWs to them for basic service and after market performance products. These guys have the best customer service and prices. John is the most honest owner you can work with! He will tell you the honest truth to make sure you are aware of everything. Sergio and Kevin are awesome at what they do! Their meticulous work and clean installs are highly appreciated. Not to mention their shop is spotless!!! I called Status Auto looking to install camber plates and an adjustable suspension on my 2016 Ford Focus RS. I'm always a bit tentative about having my car worked on but Alex and Sarah quickly procured Ground Control camber plates and KW Variant 3 coil-overs, and John and Sergio did a efficient job on the install and setup; corner balanced to my weight in the driver's seat. They also installed a set of new tires, a rear motor-mount, a PTU brace and shifter bushings that I supplied. The car has been transformed and Status Auto more than met my expectations. I can't begin to tell you how satisfied I am with the work they did. Not only was the install clean but they have been very helpful in understanding the new kit. I can't wait for Thunderhill West later this month and providing more feedback to Sergio. They even took some really great pictures of the bits and car. I am more than comfortable putting my baby back in their very competent hands, and am looking forward to seeing them again to get my brake lines and rotors upgraded. Come here to get your cars worked on!! Alex and Sarah were super helpful and really knowledgeable!! They know what they were doing for sure. I had to get an O2 sensor and fuel level sensor changed, they got the parts real quick and got the work done super fast! They're also dealers of dope aftermarket brands like Rotiform, Volks, Advans, KW, and much more. So if you're looking to get your car spiced up for a show or get it ready to rip on the track. These gentlemen are the BEST with regard to modifications, installations and diagnosis. I was hesitant to take my C63 AMG in for diagnosis of a problem with a previous owner's installation of an IPE Valvetronic exhaust. They got into it and found and rerouted correctly the vacuum pressure connections.. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I won't take my Mercedes anywhere else now. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Status Auto. Brought my unconventional Volvo here for a coilover install and alignment and everything came out perfect. Serigo worked on my car and consulted with me on how I wanted the wagon to be set up. His technical expertise was far beyond my understanding, so I left it to him to make adjustments based on my preferences. At checkout Jon was courteous and welcoming. They've done a ton of work for me on my Subaru BRZ, suspension installation, alignment, corner balance, body kit installation, and recently helped me get some wheels and tires mounted up for a Civic Type R. I've been to a few auto shops and this is by far my most favorite. Once you get there they make you feel welcome and try to do whatever they can to help you achieve what you want for you car. This is my first real alignment for my car and they did such a great job. They work with so many exotics so I had my full trust in them taking car of my car. After being quoted $1,000 cost to restore my A/C in my car from another shop/mechanic, I quickly looked for a second opinion and took my car to Status Auto Inc.. The previous shop was quoting me for a complete compressor replacement, in which Status Auto Inc., informed me was not the issue and therefore I was looking at a cost savings of nearly $500 on a quote to fix my A/C. Sergio worked on my car and consulted with me on how to maintain the overall life span and suggested maintenance cadences for the upkeep which I highly appreciated. I found this shop originally through a referral from Terry Griffin of Griffen Motorwerke when I was looking for a good performance and service shop in the peninsula, and I am glad he recommended Status Auto. Although there were very nice cars that were parked there, it was definitely not what impressed me about this shop. What left a very positive impression for me was how extremely knowledgeable and meticulous Sergio is when it comes to working on cars, the shop floor is spotless, and of course how John is just a downright pleasure to work with. The few times that I have had to take my Audi there for service and performance related work, I have walked out satisfied with the work they performed. These guys take the time to get things right and more. This is the kind of shop I have been looking for. Not only do I highly recommend this place, but I will be back for many years to come whenever my vehicle needs work. read more

It was disrespectful, unprofessional, and honestly came across as racist behavior. After the manager walked away, another employee stepped in and confirmed that my dad actually could exchange the part since it had been purchased that same day. So the manager was completely wrong. My dad has been a loyal customer at AutoZone for many years and has spent a lot of money there. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Almost never leave reviews, but for a uniquely honest auto shop (rare these days)--I try to make…read morethe time. Went in for an oil change at the local Honda dealership and they recommended I change the steering rack on my car. The estimate was $4k+. Called several different shops to get quotes. Saw Tran's Auto Repair and read through some reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. Not only did Sy take his time to check on an estimate for me--which was very reasonable for the work required to replace a steering rack--he also suggested I bring the car in to double check to see whether I actually need the replacement. I was able to take the car in a few days later and after checking, turns out the rack was seeping just a bit of fluid, but not a major leak (what seems common for a car with 150k miles). Recommended we don't change it now and continue to check on it every oil change until it becomes an actual leak (if that ever happens). That recommendation checks out with how the car drives. Before my visit to the dealership I didn't notice any major issues with the steering--the car seemed to still have firm, controlled steering even at highway speeds. Mind you, I understand the business nature of auto shops. It is advantageous to recommend and do work on vehicles. But the fact that Tran's recommended not to get the steering rack replaced right now should speak to how honest they are with their customers (even a new one). I'll be back, and would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of service/repairs.

I held off on providing an update as there was an issue with the TPMS sensors that took a while to resolve. But this turned out to be a Tesla thing and unrelated to any work that this store did.

I've had Status Auto Inc. work on my 2015 corvette Zo6 in the past. Awesome work setting up my suspension and alignment. The next time I went to Laguna Seca for a track day, I ran a 139.5. The car never handled that well. It was like the car was being sucked into the apex of the corners. Needless to say I was thrilled. Also. The shop has all the latest high tech balancing and alignment racks around. When I was there Sergio was doing an alignment on a 1972 Ferrari Daytona worth around $700,000.00 dollars. So when I recently picked up my new 2017 Ford Raptor supercab, I immediately knew where to bring it for some goodies. For get up and go, they installed an AFE cold air intake with a scorcher tune. AFE Rebel side exhaust and an AFE intercooler. HUGE horsepower gains and still drives as civil as stock when you want, albeit, a bit louder : ) They also installed an array of led light bars including (2) 40 inch light bars Behind the grill. One White and one amber. The white is bright as hell and the amber completes the look. additionally there are 10 more 20 watt lights in the front bumper. They look oem. These can either be run amber for highlights or white which are even brighter than with 40 inch bar in the grill. Lastly, they found me a 40 watt rear facing light that also looks oem and bright as heck. The electrical work could not have been done cleaner. Everything was tucked away, Sergio even made custom wire harnesses which can all be unplugged individually. AWESOME ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Whether my car/ truck is going to the track or heading off road for a bounce, these guys have the parts and know how to keep them running at their best. read more

I just wanted to write a quick review to say how FANTASTIC my overall experience was at Status! Everyone there is incredibly helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and honest. The work done to my 2018 Porsche Macan GTS was PERFECT and SPOT ON (I had some custom work done)!!! The owner (Jhon) and Technician (Sergio) are not only incredible at what they do, but are "bar none" the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The level of customer service and professionalism is absolutely superb, and the quality of work is off the charts / second to none! Great atmosphere, very professional, and trustworthy! Came to Status Auto Inc with my 2014 LEXUS IS350 FSPORT and got ACCUAIR SUSPENSIONS & BBS LM-R WHEELS installed. The staffs are very helpful and they took care of me without charging dealership prices. They have the right tools, top of the line equipment, and knowledgeable staffs to get the job done. I took my Maserati GranTurismo here. This place is run by a group of extremely talented individuals. They are not only polite, they go the extra mile to be informative (more than the dealership) ALL while providing amazing customer service. Prices are also great and very reasonable in my opinion. This place is a hidden gem and I probably won't take my car anywhere else. 5 stars all around to Sergio and everyone in the shop!! read more

Purchased my new set of KW Coilovers from here. Spoke with Sergio, I explained to him I wanted comfort and performance from the set up as I daily drive the car, he recommended the KW V3's. I could not be happier with my purchase. They did a great job on the install and even found a few oil leaks from my engine..... yay, BMW life. Ill bring the car back for those later. read more
