I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. While initially they were very communicative and proactive, once I submitted my 50% deposit, I feel like the company has almost ghosted me. No one ever called to inform me that my windows were in. I had to call after almost a month and a half to get a status update and lo and behold my windows happened to be in and I was able to schedule only after I called. Then, only a couple of days later I get a call from Paul while I'm in a work meeting that they need to reschedule. We have young, reactive dogs and need to make arrangements for them to be out of the house during installation so rescheduling for us isn't as simple as picking another day. I call back shortly after and left a voicemail of my own for Paul. Almost 4 hours went by without a response and considering there is a holiday weekend and only a couple of days until my scheduled appointment, I had to call back yet again. Over the last month, I have called the main line of Window World over 10 times and I've only spoken to a live person twice. Also, their text communication service wasn't working this week either, making this even more frustrating. Update: The poor communication continued right up to installation day. The day before my 8-10am appointment window I called at 3:30pm to make sure I would receive a phone call when the crew was on their way. This is important so that we could get our dogs over to a friend's house before arrival. I was assured I would get a call 15 minutes before the crew would arrive. I never received the promised call; the crew just showed up and rang the doorbell, leading to a chaotic situation my wife and I had to deal with that should have never happened. I cannot believe how many times I as the customer, have had to call this company to get anything accomplished. I'm beyond disappointed with how I've been treated as a customer since I paid my 50% deposit.
