We stayed here for 7 days and found it to be a very nice facility. The staff were friendly and helpful. they have a Happy hour with free wine, beer and snacks which we enjoyed. Stayed here a few months ago. I'm an IGH member and typically stay at Holiday Inn, but was pleasantly surprised by StayBridge. There were 4 adults and 1 child in my group and the two bedroom suite worked out well for our needs. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. The outdoor area was great. Love the outdoor fire place and pool. I loved the fact they had ice water readily available in the main area. It was such a nice touch & saved money not having to buy water bottles. I wish holiday inns offered that tbh. I loved the breakfast bar offered iced coffee!!! I've never stayed anywhere that offered iced coffee. My only complaint was one day they had fried eggs. I asked if they would be bringing more fried eggs. The girl kind of rolled her eyes at me and said yea and then they brought out scrambled eggs (which I don't eat) I wish she would have mentioned they were bringing out a different type of egg so I hadn't wasted so much time waiting around for something I wasn't going to eat. Unsafe. My car got broken into. Hotel has no cameras and was not very helpful. Other guests and the cop who helped me told me there are break ins in the lot often and someone's car even got stolen from there. Many of the employees acknowledge there are lots of theft in the parking lot and acknowledged there should be outside cameras. I hope management takes some responsibility for this known issue and installs cameras. Also, the name of this hotel is a bit misleading. It is on cherry creek, but it's not in Cherry Creek. I truly enjoyed staying in this hotel. It's located in a great area, very close to downtown. The staff is very friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. They have some days where the offer dinner socials which I thought was fantastic and they include breakfast as well. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend! read more

One star is even too much for this hotel, management and customer service!! My husband spent a month there for a business trip and he forgot his AirPods newly bought. He called the hotel as soon as he landed back in Miami to ask if they found anything left and they said "yes the AirPods". Or better... first they said yes and they asked all the information to send them to us. But then of course we have never received any package from the hotel. And since then I decided to call the hotel more or less every two weeks for updates. Well.. it turned out that I am still waiting for the manager to call me back because OF COURSE the AirPods got lost! And I have been emailing them, calling.. even texting with a front desk agent who told me that management was "thinking about refund me the money". They also asked me a copy of the original receipt with the total of money spent. THAT'S RIDICULOUS! Please, save your money and choose a fair place to spent your time!!! read more

Be careful before you stay here. They hotel is going through some construction issues and the entire dining and check-in area is a mess. The hotel rooms are older and updated. One positive note, the evening staff is friendly, courteous and very accommodation. We had a major Infestation of ants in our room. Waiting to hear back from the general manager, however I was told the hotel manager and general manager does not work weekends. I wish I could be able to post a review about the property's amenities, accomodations and location but unfortunately I can't do it because I wasn't able to stay there as they cancelled my reservation one day before my arrival. The reason? They overbooked the hotel. I have stayed at Staybridge properties many times and never encountered an issue like this before. Evidently, the hotel's management has poor guest occupancy planning and has zero customer service skills. Avoid this hotel if you want peace of mind! read more

Rooms are accommodating for a large family, but the Check-in was not pleasant, at all. Between Expedia and their terrible service, and the unpleasant demeanor of the property manager of Staybridge suites, it was a nightmare of a check-in. Apparently the Expedia's credit card was declined, so the property could not check us in. Then, rather than being helpful and walking us through the process, or troubleshooting the following steps, the manager came off as irritated...and front desk Karen was oblivious, and stood by cluelessly idle. I will say, it wasn't completely the property's fault...as Expedia seemingly has forgotten to pay their credit card bill; however, management was completely sh*t. read more

This has by far been the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Our toilet overflowed this morning at 6:00 AM with feces in it. We called the front desk and were told they would send someone right up. We used every towel trying to prevent the flood from reaching the carpet to no avail. We waited for an hour and no one came. I requested a new room but was told that the hotel was booked and we might be able to get a new room by afternoon. Nothing else was done to assist us. We left the room to go for a walk and get breakfast. We returned to the room around 9:30. Maintenance had come but nothing had been done to clean the room. We left again because we are in town for a family medical emergency and had to leave. We returned at 2:00 and the room still had not been cleaned. I saw the housekeeping manager and talked with her and she said she had never been informed. Again I insisted on a new room and we were given one on the first floor by the parking lot. This room wreaks of exhaust and cigarette smoke. I realize things happen but The hotel response has been horrible. I will never stay at another Staybridge and I do not recommend this hotel. I have requested compensation as well but the front desk clerk just shrugged and said I would have to take it up with the manager tomorrow. I can think of several other ways this situation could have been handled that would have resulted in a much more positive review. read more

I have stayed here twice before and normally had a pretty good experience. Unfortunately, after five years, the place has gone significantly downhill. The common areas are worn out and when we arrived on our check in date, the pool was closed. I had specifically called the week prior to confirm the pool was working and was told it was. It turns out that the pool had been down for quite some time. A very disappointing way to start our weekend in Denver. Thankfully the woman at the front desk helped us find a room at the Holiday Inn down the street and was really nice. read more

Oh Dear God where to start... First of all, my spouse was having surgery at St. Joe, and I needed a safe, clean, warm and comfortable place to stay after a stressful day. I should have kept driving and paid more money. While on the outside the appearance seemed fine, what awaited me in my room was abhorrent. I was too tired to fight, so I put up with it. I had no further damns to give for the day. However, I feel obligated to warn other travelers of this place. The check in guy was fine, but my room was filthy. Stock show was in town so they were full up. The heat/AC unit was filthy. Not sure why Yelp doesn't have a spot to post photos, I'd be happy to share them with you. The walls are paper thin, and the party down the hall went on through the night. Never again. Not worth the hundred bucks. More like something off the highway, where you stop for a few hours instead. After missing my connection back to California from OH - the snow in OH kept us on the ground longer than anticipated, United Airlines offered a voucher to get a discounted hotel room nearby. I honestly could've stayed at the airport, but a comfy bed was more appealing than the uncomfortable airport chairs :) So, they booked me at the Staybridge. A free shuttle picked me up within 15-20 minutes and check-in was easy. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and got me to my room right away. Even when I questioned my rate (they had confirmed a much cheaper rate over the phone), she immediately changed it. The room is perfect for a longer stay...there's a kitchen, couch, comfy bed, a flat screen TV, and a nice bathroom. It was very clean and perfect for my quick stay. I got set up with a wake-up call and a shuttle - although I ended up sharing a cab to the airport. read more

This place has basically been our half way house as we move from huntsville AL to Aurora CO. They have been nothing but super friendly and supportive! The front desk clerk knew me by name after only a couple days, and asked me for updates about our house hunt and our move every morning! They took a personal interest in our stay, and even waived the pet fee for us. We will always stay here if we need a hotel in Denver! read more

Common areas were dirty, doorway glass was the first clue; spills on the floor stayed there for 4 days. Room cleanliness was better. Refrigerator leaked, only 1 bar of soap allotted per room (apparently), had to request a pillowcase, coffee packets never restocked. Key card stopped working and it took 3 trips to/from the 3rd floor room before staff got it programmed correctly. Accidentally left my phone charger in the room when I checked out; called within the hour to the front desk, but when I showed up to claim it, front desk staff said it hadn't been found. Riiiight. Best part of the stay was the social hour w/free beer -- if you like Coors products. Food was marginal. read more

We just spent 5 days at Staybridge Cherry Creek. It was very dog friendly. We had unexpected things go wrong...plugged shower drain..etc. They sent someone to the room right away and got it taken care of. The manager there is really great. If you have a problem just ask for her. Talissa, who works the desk on week days, is very sweet and helpful. The gentleman who runs the PM front desk was very helpful too. The people running the free breakfast and happy hour went over and beyond the call of duty to be helpful. read more

Friendly staff, comfy beds, easy internet, showers with power. Automatic three stars for any hotel as those are the minimums. Staybridge has extra space. Bonus. They also have extra kids whining, crying, running, and potentially RUINING your sleep and stay. The more I travel, the more I respect the patience of parents traveling with kids, but loathe them at the same time. They are oblivious to the privacy and space of those around them. The Cherry Creek Trail is right outside the front door, and shopping/eating nearby is very good. I'd stay here again, but I'd make sure there were no kids beside or above me. read more

For the price and what your get, a two bed suite for $134 (medical rate) this place is very comfortable. Most importantly even one here is super cool and nice. They swapped our room for us because we didn't care for the noisey neighbors. Mad cool. Super plus; free dinner-food and wine and beer for 2 hours 3 days a week... Not bad if u wanna eat on cheap! Draw backs: a lot of silver hair crowd, many people are in town to visit nearby National Jewish Hospital. But if u have to come in for that reason staying here is a good idea. Hmm, well first off the staff is great and very nice, helpful, etc. The facility is also nice with good snacks, breakfast, outdoor patio area, hot tub, etc. And rooms are nice and clean. Problems - beds are like sleeping on the proverbial rock! Impossible for me to get comfortable and really think the sleeper sofa is the best option. Their motto by the bed was about how comfy their pillows are - need to focus on the mattress first. YIKES Second, the walls, floors and ceiling are THIN THIN THIN. You would have thought a troop of monkeys were staying above us. And next to us. And in the hall way. Very easy to hear EVERYTHING around you. Back to good things -- location is good near the shopping area and some good dining options. Just not a great place to sleep if yo plan to do any of that. And paid $121 which seemed stout. read more

My family and I had been gone all day expecting room service to come and makeup our beds, replace towels, etc. while we were out. When we came back however, the room looks as if someone had came in and just moved some stuff around. Our beds looked the exact same as they did when we left, and I found a USED TAMPON on the side of my bed whilst no one with me had been menstruating!!! After that I called the front desk to tell them about the incident to and ask if house keeping was supposed to come while we were gone and the guy at the front desk said yes and they obviously didn't, told him about the tampon and asked him if we could have a thorough cleaning done and he said that everyone on the cleaning crew got off work already. So now we just have a bloody tampon on the floor because the house keeping people are all of work. Will not be coming back to this location, very disappointing:/ read more

We chose this hotel strictly for the room that I selected at the time of booking. My husband and I traveled from Washington to meet family (2 adults and 3 children) traveling from Nebraska. We wanted to make the most of our time together (2 days) so we chose a 2 bedroom suite with enough beds for everyone. Upon arrival I was informed they no longer had that room type available as they had given ours away. (We checked in about 3:00pm) They tried to give me a room with 2 beds for 7 people! No way!! So they "comped" me a room across the hall for my husband and myself. The room they "comped" is was horrible! It was handicapped accessible, which didn't bother me except that nothing in the room worked. If someone truly handicapped were put in that room it would have been very difficult for them. The phones didn't work properly, the bathroom door wouldn't open (it was a pocket style door) and the living room area setup wouldn't have accommodated a wheelchair. I understand things happen so I took it and we were just going to get on with our weekend. During check-in the two people at the front desk didn't seem to know what was going on and tried to argue with each other while I was standing there. Later one of the front desk employees was walking down the hall past my group, she mocked us! That is not how you treat guests!! Upon checking out the front desk staff was unapologetic and had a "eh, nothing we can do about it" attitude. To top it all off one of our vehicles was broken into. Which is not the hotels fault but their parking area could have been lit better and the parking lot could have been bigger. Definitely not worth the $$ we paid!! We will not be returning. read more

Not bad for an extended stay- I have definitely seen worse! Good kitchen, very clean, good TV and cable channels, spacious bathroom area. The beds are NOT good. I always wonder why bother making upgrades to a hotel if the beds are going to be crap? I would rather have an old TV or dated light fixtures but a nice, comfy pillowtop bed with decent bedding! I wish hotels would get the memo! This place has the potential to be noisy- the walls are thin and you hear everyone's plumbing. Fortunately it wasn't very busy when we stayed but I would be aware of that. Not a bad location- pretty central to Cherry Creek and right off Colorado Ave, where there are a lot of services. They have a breakfast AND serve free dinners several times a week. I wasn't able to partake but hear it's a good deal. Especially for people with children. For the price, I got a 2 bedroom suite that provided family space while in our room, free breakfast, free dinners T-Th nights, proximity to relatively everything in Denver, without any major hiccups. Ok, so the meals are like school cafeteria food, but there are no really good dining establishments anywhere nearby. Great walking/running trail right out the front door, plenty of parking, nice staff, close to the strip clubs...oops, so you ignore those. Target and King Sooper nearby if you are long term. Free shuttle to things within three miles. TV's are utter crap! Tuners find your channel after about ten seconds. Really cheap electronics. Ok, thats about the only downfall. That and the rip off taxes charged by the state. Its not the Hyatt but it is as good as most other midrange suite type hotels. read more

The housekeeping staff failed to empty the trash during our stay as well as replace empty toilet paper and other toiletries. On our last day, I encountered one of the staff in the elevator around 9 am complaining that she wished all the guests would leave now so they could get on with cleaning the rooms. We then had housekeepers knock aggressively on our door twice in the morning as we were packing our things. On the second time before we could even respond to the knock, the housekeeper opened the door and barged in and started interrogating my wife as to what time were we leaving- this was at 10am in the morning with their Check-out time at noon. This place did not live up to the photos or any expectations that one can have in general when staying in a hotel. The halls and common areas in the hotel were VERY dirty. The room itself looked fairly clean, but had unfinished repairs in the bathroom, the bathroom door didn't close, and the walls in the room were so thin I could hear every little thing going on like it was right next to me. There was no blow dryer (I have seen them in every hotel room for the last 20 years, so I didn't bring mine). The breakfast area was filthy, including lots of dirty silverware in the "clean" receptacle, tables were not cleaned off at all yet the housekeeping lady was right there, spills not cleaned up, the yogurt was not cold, there was no ice in the drink dispenser, and the kitchen door was wide open and also pretty gross. People were smoking right outside the main entrance, within 2 feet of the door. Overall it was just grimy and disgusting. I was with a group and work paid for the room, but I would never choose to stay here again! read more

Booked a 2-bedroom suite at the Staybridge Denver-Cherry Creek for a month to accommodate a home remodel while recovering from knee replacement surgery. First week, we request housekeeping for a day when we can all be out of the room. Returned late afternoon to find room had not been cleaned. Requested housekeeping at a specific time for the morning of the next day, and they showed up just before 5:00. Next week, respectfully requested house keeping at 9:30 while I would be at physical therapy. Returned 3 hours later, tip left for housekeeping was gone but room had not been cleaned. Note that since we have a dog with us and I have a strict schedule to complete rehab exercises and ice/elevate my knee, we only request housekeeping once/week. When we tried to discuss with front desk, we were told they have till 4:30 and are entitled to lunch. No apologies, no interest in the fact the tip had been taken and no work done, and no explanation for why they agrees to schedule it at 9:30 and then failed to honor that commitment. Instead I'm told I'm not talking to them respectfully. But they bill our credit card for over $1,200/week like clockwork. read more

Back in the 1990s I traveled all across the US about 20% of the time for business and stayed in very good hotels (part of the corp. image). Spent more than 2 weeks here Christmas 2009. Great place. Friendly staff, gave me a non-smoking room (very very clean) with an incredible view of the mountains, hot buffet breakfast (eggs and meat, make your own waffle) every morning with good yogurts, coffee, cereals and fruit available. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in (I like a firm mattress). My studio room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Free laundry room (detergent was only $1 per load), high speed Internet (wired and wireless), kitchen with plates, utensils, pots and pans, full refrigerator and microwave. Directly across the street from a Super Target, and several grocery stores within one mile. Cherry Creek is about a mile. Free parking and a very convenient location - you can be almost anywhere in the Denver metro area, including Golden, in less than 25 minutes. Did I mention the friendly staff? This place was perfect for my 15 night stay over the holidays. Only complaint was idiots next door one weekend night, and a call to the front desk solved that in less than 15 minutes. 5 stars. I would stay here again without a second thought, and have highly recommended it to friends and family. Highest recommendation. read more

Front desk staff were not very attentive and made us feel like we were a burden on them. When we checked in they changed the price increasing it by $20 and a $50 deposit that they never told us about prior. Never told us there was a workout room or what other amenity's were available. We have a party of 3. Said we only have a queen bed without a pull out. Acted like they were doing us a favor by getting us the room we originally booked! The room was small. It did have a nice little kitchen area, but we were only staying one night I would have been happier with 2 uncomfortable beds. My husband and I both woke up with sore backs. I did like there pillows. My in laws were also staying in the hotel and had the same experience as we did. She stated the desk clerk never made eye contact with her or my father in law and did not smile or seem friendly at all. I will avoid Saybridge next time. read more

I want to give this 5 stars but I can't. We did enjoy the breakfast and the happy hour, room was clean, staff was friendly, but there was a pretty big issue with our reservation. We booked with Priceline and had already paid for our stay. When we checked in they charged me for my room again, I got a notification from my bank as soon as we walked in our room and went straight to the front desk to let them know of the mistake. They said they have no way to see if they are supposed to charge people or not so they just charged me? Which seems like a terrible excuse and they should know or know to ask each guest. So they said they would "unauthorize" the charge but it has been 4 days and it is still pending in my bank so it isn't available funds and the bank says they can't do anything while it's pending and Priceline and the hotel have both been no help even though they admit there Was a mistake. We are a young couple and don't have much money. I work two jobs and worked my butt off for weeks leading up to this trip to have extra spending money and on about ten seconds my money was taken and nobody is able to help me. There were things we wanted to do while we were here but now don't have the money and have had to budget and be cheap while on vacation. The whole point of our trip was to treat ourselves and splurge a little and we weren't able to do that. I'm extremely disappointed In the hotel and in Priceline. So PLEASE let them know if you book third party so this doesn't happen to you. I don't want to say this ruined our trip but it kind of has. I thought they would do the right thing and at least try to make it right but so far nobody has done anything. read more
