Stayed here from May 7 - 10, 2026. It was a 2 bedroom suite. The sheets were soft and it was a pleasant stay. The pool hadn't opened yet. Like how they changed up the complimentary breakfast in the sense that the next day is a bit different from the day before. For example, one day had sweet potato hash vs regular hash and one day they had the pork frittata. The mini scones were really good. Wish the brekkie manager would replenish the fresh fruit (the berries) more often. Coffee was kind of average. Appreciate that the soda machine was available during brekkie. Apples seemed to be the "to-go" fruit being offered and liked how they have citrus water out by the front entrance. Not sure if it's North Caroline or just certain establishments. For some reason, there was a lot of disposable tableware being used (cups, utensils, plates). Not very green. read more

No complaints. My room was nice and clean, my bed was perfect, feather pillows, down comforters, I had a good night sleep and I had a hot breakfast the next morning consisted of bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, bagels, very nice selection, along with coffee, juice, and water. The front desk was very accommodating very pleasant and knowledgeable about their reward program. I definitely will stay there again. Also, the location of this hotel was perfect. Walmart was across the street, Lowe's was directly across the street in addition to some local nail salons and urgent care. Every room had a kitchenette, and lastly, there was plenty of parking in a well lit parking lot. read more

This property is easily accessible from I-40 at Durham NC. About 20-30 minutes from the airport and conveniently close to malls, hospitals, bookstores, area universities. It is also close to I- 85. The checkin was very easy and my husband and I enjoyed being on the first floor and our suite was very clean. I was concerned that certain items we needed was missing in the suite - the iron, ironing board, light bulbs for the lamps, forks, cooking pans, microwave rack bracket broken, ice machine didn't work. The customer service representative offered to move us to another room but the room available was missing items also. I was really concerned that only one person was on duty in the entire hotel. There was an issue with the WiFi necessitating me to to go up to the lobby very late at night to get the WiFi going. All these gaffes, just hampered my sleep- I felt so tired by the morning. However, I must say - the breakfast was phenomenal/ food was freshly prepared- area very clean, there was spinach, egg omelettes, cutup tomatoes, to name a few. The chef was very nice and helpful - letting me know some of the food available. Covid protection protocol in place- just a wonderful breakfast experience. I feel that the deficiencies in the hotel was a management issue and I take in consideration staffing issues- so the suite was very clean- I would book a reservation again but would take an iron and other sundries. read more

So i didn't actually stay here I just had a really big stomach ache while driving towards Raleigh. Decided to pull over here over comfort inn next door and I made the right decision. The bathroom was super clean and smelt like pancakes. The front desk guy even pointed at me as I left and said thank you! After explaining to my sister and her fiancé in the car about the experience they decided to turn the car around and use the bathroom as well to get the experience that really was once in a lifetime! read more

Seriously, gross. It's a hotel that allows smoking and animals. If you're like me and don't want either around you, you're out of luck. The halls and rooms smell so bad it's breath taking. We turned the heat on, same thing. Overwhelming smoke smell. The room was supposed to be a queen suite-nope! It was full size and dirty. The only saving part-Kennetra, 3rd shift front desk-is the sweetest, most helpful clerk they have. Price was good, so if that's a concern, this will do for a night or two. Just be aware of the smell. PROS-Exterior was very clean, check in and checkout were easy and employees were very friendly. Breakfast was great with many options. Beds were fluffy and very clean. CONS-Bugs!!!!! Bugs were in the kitchen area and bathroom. Kitchen has not been remodeled. Floor board was not properly done so you could see gaps in the wall. Bugs were all over the kitchen laminate and quickly scattered as soon as we turned on the lights. Then they were found in the bathroom, as well. As much as I wanted to like this hotel I was scared that bugs would crawl all over me. read more

Great hotel. The staff was great during my stay, the coffee being available at all hours was a plus, the gym was ok for a hotel, clean rooms w/ the exception of my bedroom window that could have used Windex, easy to find, ample parking but the spaces are rather tight, close to the highway and convenient to the main road w/ a lot of food options and shopping centers. Took me 10mins to drive to UNC. Check-in was a breeze and I called in to Check-out. They have a little "store" by the front desk which to me is better then a vending machine. Just a little nook that sells items you may have forgot or junk food. Didn't take advantage of the free complementary breakfast because I was running late for a meeting but it did smell good. read more

This is my review on the staybridge hotel! Honestly this place isn't too bad. The beds were comfortable and it was a good space i guess. Televisions were nice and up to date. Couch was ok and so was the little kitchen area. Staff was nice but i didn't have many interactions with them so i assume. They had complementary breakfast too which was not a variety but decent. Now this is a 3 star because of the bathrooms. The bathroom was tiny because it was a toilet and shower in one room and sink and closet feature in a room with an open wall leading into the bedroom. The toilet also had...CIGARETTE MARKS someone must have put it out on the toilet yet we were staying in a cigarette free room. I mean come on at least clean it. Anyways my family and i were not too dissatisfied with the place and it had some nice features. read more

An acceptable place to rest your head. We stayed in a 2 BR/2Bath suite for a couple of nights. The layout was good and the rooms were spacious. There was an odd smell in the hallway. Couldn't put my finger on what it was, it was a combination of cigarette/food smoke or something. The front desk staff balked when we asked for a second bar of soap -- said there was already one in the room. She gave it to us, but I didn't appreciate the attitude. What were we supposed to do, run over to the other room's bathroom sink and borrow the lone bar of soap when we needed to wash our hands? The shampoo container was also empty in our shower, and of course there was no way of knowing that until you were taking a shower. Ugh. Pretty comfortable hotel with decent breakfast overall, but a few 'off' occurrences that did not warrant a four-star review. read more

This is a gem hotel for so many reasons. The staff is impeccable and extremely helpful. They are accommodating and try their best to provide guests with a comfortable stay. I had to request a room change the night upon checking in because of an apparent water leak, and it was done immediately. A lot of us were staying here for a wedding, and the staff had no problem dealing with our large crowds. The rooms are generally very clean and spacious because of the suite layout. I liked the fact that the bedroom has a French door to the living room/kitchen area, especially when rooming with other folks. It's a very quiet and relaxed hotel being situated in a more residential area (though walkable to the shopping center across the street). There is easy access to the main highways in the RTP, so that is a plus as well. There is complimentary breakfast every morning that includes hot and cold items, which is great. There is also a pool in the rear for guests, and the fitness room is good for a quick, simple workout (no free-weights though). Overall very please with my stay at the Staybridge here. Recommended to anyone needing a room in the Chapel Hill - Durham area. read more

We stayed one night at this hotel and we requested a nonsmoking suite. The rooms were clean and front lobby staff were nice but the suite still smelled like smoke. So if you want that smell, go for it. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. We arrived around 1:30 on Oct 17 and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Even though we were early, she allowed us to check in. We were in the area for the UNC Football game and came with another couple so we opted for the 2 BR/ 2 BA sweet. When we arrived to room 420, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was sooooo nice and very clean. (The couch could be replaced for sure but that's ok). We all went to bed bed around midnight and were sleeping very good till 4am when the fire alarm went off. We all hurried outside like the rest of the guest and luckily I told my husband to grab the car keys so we could wait in the heat. This lasted around 45 minutes as the alarm would go on and off every few minutes. The fire dept was working diligently to fix the issue. I felt bad for the elderly and young kids all outside with no coats on. It was 45*. The next morning we found out that the pipe busted and also the sprinklers soaked the 3rd floor but let me say with this minor issue of being woken at 4am.. Tarika was awesome!!!! She was so polite and accommodating. It made me forget how tired we were(jk). I mean I really cannot say enough nice things about her. You rock! Lots of shopping in the area and tons of restaurants. 10 min drive to UNC And no clue how far from Dukie(can you tell I'm a Tar Heel?) you wouldn't catch me dead on that campus I recommend this place to anyone!! read more

My wife and I stayed at three other hotels until we found Staybridge on Mt. Moriah. We have stayed there several times and it is always the same: clean modern rooms, friendly and professional staff, great food, and very convenient to Duke hospital. Great place to stay! Quiet & comfortable. This is one place that accepts dogs and everyone was very friendly with dogs and welcoming. The front desk staff was attentive and friendly and even checked in on us to see of we needed anything. The breakfast was great!!! Lots of variety at no additional cost. Hot and fresh options. Lovely modern hotel with a very homey feel. Front desk staff is top-notch. Rooms are spacious and meticulously cleaned. Very quiet inside the hotel, yet lots of commerce nearby. If I could give negative stars to this hotel I would. The employees were extremely unaccommodating and rude and every floor smelled like cig smoke in each hall way. I had to stay in this hotel after my knee surgery and could not move around easily and the phone near me didn't work to call the front desk for assistance when my mom was out at the store. The room was fine except they put me in a smoking room and it smelled absolutely horrible... NOT A PLACE FOR SOMEONE ON ANESTHESIA TO BE STAYING!! Sorry just common sense. DO NOT stay here unless you want lung cancer and want to deal with unfriendly employees. read more

They had all the cooking things we needed to feel comfy. My only gripe is that the bed is a bit hard, I itched a bit from what I'm guessing is bleach on the sheets, and the temp in the room was hard to keep constant. read more

I have never written a review for a hotel while I am still residing in it, but I feel so positively about this place that I want to put pen to paper before I check out. I did not plan to stay here, but the place I was staying in was bad news and I decided to vacate. Feeling tired, disappointed and stressed I thankfully landed at Staybridge. At the front desk I was greeted by Sarah, a lovely young woman who was genuinely sympathetic to my situation. What a breath of fresh air! The staff here has been consistently friendly and helpful. The other woman who mans the front desk, Lauren is amazing as well and we have engaged in many helpful and enjoyable conversations. Whoever does the hiring here is a good judge of character. The hotel is very clean (beyond what I have experienced in hotels like Holiday Inn, Hilton and Marriot, which surprised me) and the linens and towels are great. It is very nicely set up for long term stays and the rooms are equipped with all the basic essentials one could need. The hotel is very well kept up and shows no off putting signs of aging/neglect. The beds are fine, firm and sturdy (which is important for me as I have a bad back), but nothing to write home about. The price is very reasonable taking into account that they also provide breakfast and dinner with drinks included in the stay. I have not tried the food as I am on a special diet, but other guests have told me that they are pleased with the fare. The woman who mans the kitchen Sandra, is friendly and obviously good at her job, quick to replenish food and drink and very receptive to comments. When you come from a bad lodging situation its makes you very appreciative of a good one. And this is one! I know I'm raving about the place, but is because I feel they have genuinely earned it.
